Clomid journey thread 2!

So I thought I would start a new thread as we reached 1k comments so can't post!!! @chloedancer897 @Luna1108 sorry will try tag others !
anyway my app says af in 4 days I'm so emotional today! Over thinking even thinking is it right for my and partner to go forward together! I know I could test but I'm just not mentally prepared too 😢

@J90A yes I have PCOS and have been trying for 14 months now, 3rd month of clomid.

My partner SA showed issues with morphology and 98% were abnormal which doesn't help.

If this month fails I'm off for a HSG and then I may ask to try injectable or something else as clomid clearly isn't working

@s154 I had a HSG as part of the routine tests. They told me it increases fertility for the first 3 months hope that helps!

@J90A yes I went private as the waiting list for NHS is about 4 months to wanted to get started. I have a NHS appointment at the end of the month so I will see if they suggest anything else!

@s154 I'm Nhs I was referred from my GP in October last year 3 month I got an appointment then all the testing I started clomid in June. I'm only getting weekly urine samples which show I've been ovulating. I have a follow up in October. I'm thinking about private to get scans x

I've done an early test at 10dpo and BFN

I'm pretty certain I'm not pregnant. No symptoms except pms but I am obsessing!! I don't think i will accept it until af arrives is 10dpo too early even for a Frer? HELP this tww is killing me .

@J90A what day did you ovulate? I usually cave and start taking them about 10 DPO as I can't wait either! I think they say 10 DPO is the earliest but 12 DPO is most likely to be reliable

@s154 ovulated on the 30th august. Due my period on Monday. This part is so hard isn't it 🤦‍♀️😂 I started off this cycle so chilled like im gona wait till af is late. Defo not happened, I'm worse than ever!! Lol. X

Done a test this morning BFN.

Anyone I noticed I had a slight CM of clear so I done an OPK, no idea why coz I'm due AF on Monday. This was the result? Is this normal before a period ? I know it's not positive but it's quite dark.

@J90A I would keep testing daily and see what happens. I have no idea why your opk is that dark though.. could be good news?!

@s154 strange isn't it I done another one this morning it's the same. I'm now wondering if maybe I didn't ov this month but I defo felt the ov pain on the day I was supposed to. Strange one. See what happens tomorrow AF due. I don't want to do anymore hcg tests as i noticed it really affected my mood for that day X

@J90A same here, I usually get a bit teary when I get a BFN. I have been feeling off today, quite dizzy but I am only 8 DPO so I think too soon and I am probably symptom spotting!!!

@s154 I ended up testing today 🤦‍♀️😂 BFN.

I agree that no one prepares you for this emotional rollercoaster. It’s horrible 😞

@Clomid1 cycle 3, about to start cycle 4 I was terrible last month was so upset but then I was ok until now. I'm not as sad as last month just a bit down but omg this week has been hard. I'm not the most patient at the best of times. How you doing. X

@J90A It is really getting me down. Things are opening up now so I am going back into the office, gives me less time to think about this?

I know how you feel. I am on Cycle 2 of clomid now (AF last week). I think we just have to hope it works out and trust it will happen.

I’ve been trying for 2 yrs now. 😞 it’s horrible

@Clomid1 I'm really down today aswell. No sign of AF yet but I'm so irritable today so it can't be long now. Yeah that will be good for you seeing more people.

Do you have pcos too? Me too! Feels like forever doesn't it. I thought it would've worked for me by now. It's so unfair when people get pregnant without trying. I just want to go home to my bed today. Xx

@J90A @Clomid1 I know how you both feel! I did a cheap strip test this morning and of course negative! It must be the 100th negative test I have had

Hi ladies! Sorry about all the BFN's 😔

I'm on CD1 so will be starting my first Clomid cycle tomorrow. I'm thinking of taking the pills during the day rather than at night time as I am a VERY light sleeper, and any symptoms will set off my anxiety and keep me up all night (esp hot flushes... I have a bad relationship with sleep).

Hoping I can get any rubbish symptoms out the way whilst I'm awake and more resilient so that I get a good night's sleep.

We must be due some good news on this thread soon 🤞🤞🤞 sending you all baby dust!

@Kay00 good luck! I always take mine in the morning, usually get very sweaty and headaches around lunch but by mid afternoon the worst is behind you x

@s154 that would be perfect for me. I'm a lot more rational during the day 😅 but would convince myself I'm dying if I woke up with sweats in the middle of the night 😂

@J90A how are you today?

@kay00 I have never had symptoms from clomid (second round now) so maybe you might not either. Although my lack of symptoms makes me wonder if its actually done much at all😅 if there is any logic in that

@s154 what round of clomid are you on?

Do you ladies know what happens after clomid? If it doesn’t work do we just go on the ivf waiting list?

@Clomid1 my consultant said 6 months clomid and then try injections and other drugs before ivf. The waiting list on the NHS is about 2 years I think in my area so I will try some different drugs or IUI maybe first

How old are you and how long TTC? Do you have PCOS?

@s154 I’ve been trying to conceive for about 2 years now. I’m 30. Had I realised I would have issues I would have tried when I was 24 😞 rather than waiting 4 years.
