@JenniferRo28 thank you. I’m 5+6 today. We are all close aren’t we @Eggling I had the pains last night, that was severe but it did ease after paracetomal. Other than that, I’m having cramps and some discomfort in my tummy and back but not like last night. I’ve notice today that my creamy white progesterone leakage is slightly tinged 🥺 so that’s started me off to.

Gp said I have some sort of infection in my water so it could be that 🤞 but she still wants me scanned ASAP she tried for tonight but no joy and said to ring my clinic and demand for tomorrow. If not she will send me to Epu tomorrow. Just want to get to tomorrow now without any pain🤞🤞🤞 I’m just so confused and scared. I really need this scan!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on baths during pregnancy?

@Fightingtobepositive so glad you got to see your GP. They sound v proactive. Hope you get your scan tomorrow. I’ve mentioned before but I was same as you and nothing on first scan and all turned out ok so there’s still hope. Xx

AFM I called clinic today after bleed and they brought scan forwards to this afternoon. I’m not quite sure how but baby still hanging in there. Actually... it’s two babies. But only one has a flickering HB. They said it’s still too early at 6+1 but were hopeful second twin will also have a HB at scan next week. I’m not really sure how to process this all, I went in expecting to be told it was a miscarriage and I wasn’t expecting this!

@Fightingtobepositive glad your gp is pushing for a scan for you. Regarding baths, I'm personally avoiding them but my understanding is there's no evidence that a nice warm bath would do any harm, it's only hot baths that might raise your core body temp (I think they'd have to be pretty hot for a decent amount of time too!). If it makes you feel better it should be ok, just don't make it boiling and get out if you start feeling too warm x

@Fightingtobepositive my clinic have said not till 3 months due to small risk of infection. However if you have a UTI (I am guessing that's what you mean by water infection?) I would say its not worth the risk of potentially aggravating it. Also you GP will probably have access to your bloods from hospital and could tell you your Hcg results.

@unknownscot I am sorry you had such a horrible drop off. You are entitled to be pissed off. And then try to relax as it does only take one.

@Lemongrass1 thats amazing news! Everything crossed that they continue plus I dont think it is common to see a heart beat so early so even just in one is really good!

@Eggling @JenniferRo28 I am 7+5 today and have my scan on Wednesday! I am getting so impatient and anxious. I think the flip side of waiting is if it is all going to plan in there and you see a HB at 8 weeks the chance of miscarriage reduces to about 2%. However 4 weeks waiting!!!

Thank you all so much. We've taken today for sofa & movies and will concentrate tomorrow on getting the best environment for our one little embryo.
We are freeze all with FET. I've yet to hear about the FET timings though as I have irregular periods so they want to do HRT FET.

Hey everyone,
I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks but baby was measuring only 7 weeks with a heart rate of 107 and I have a SCH I’m so upset ! Am I looking at a miscarriage 😢

BFN, absolutely heartbroken 💔

@Lemongrass1 WOW what a shock that must have been, keeping my fingers crossed for that 2nd heartbeat next week.

Very kind to remember @UnicornPuff @JenniferRo28 mine has been pushed back til this afternoon so it’s a long wait as well - same won’t be able to concentrate this morning. I will update at some point whatever the outcome. I am concerned due to lack of symptoms but decided not to do another test - what will be will be. Good luck Unicorn🦄 for your scan xx and to anyone else with appointments today (I think there were a few if I remember rightly) also sending virtual hugs to those who have bad news recently xx

@JandL2020 i have my scan tomorrow and i feel exactly the same, i dont have any symptoms either, but i have been google daft the last week or so and apparently its nothing to worry about so hope this is the case for both of us. Hope its a quick morning for you xx

@JenniferRo28 ah yes also guilty of this! Think I’m having some more discharge than usual (sorry tmi) but it could just be the pessaries to be honest! Best of luck tomorrow as well! Xx

@Heidi37 I thought that sometimes they can measure behind and catch up, if there's a heartbeat? that's what they said to me it's the heartbeat that's important?

Sorry about the BFN @LKSF I've just told my clinic my official FN & asked about cycling again with our last frostie. Transfer will likely be after new year but starting on northisterone on CD21 of nov bleed which is a right pain. That's exactly the same Timon if as last year and means we will have been on IVF for a year with a MMC & a BFN & minus thousands to show for it 😂 but it means I can drink sensibly over Xmas & new year & still enjoy myself at least & maintain my weight & happiness I feel at the minute 🥰

@Minster2012 I’m so glad you’re feeling happy and in a good head space. I think I will also be starting in November ready for in December! 🤞🏼

@LKSF i am so sorry for the negative test.
@AutumnHoping the clinic is at its best useless. I talked to a private consultant as the bleeding wasnt making sense i had mutliple tests (all negative or borderline) and also blood tests beta hcg snd it was around 7. As soon as i stopped all medication bleeding disappeared. It wasnt a viable one! I am trying to deal with it! How are you?

I also wanted to start for december but my clinic said that this will be in the new year as the latest to start before xmas is November 4. So i am looking to start a fresh cycle asap with a different clinic.

Ah ok @poupou that might be the same with mine then to be honest as I haven’t spoken to them properly yet!

@Minster2012 @poupou @LKSF that’s good you at least have plans in place and know your plan. My clinic are awful. I gave them a week to contact me following me letting them know about my negative. No response. Chased them up. Got a review apt for 6 weeks. Never even mentioned or acknowledged my failed cycle. So I’m in complete limbo.

@LKSF it might be earlier for you depending on the clinics timeline as its doable if you start soon. I hope you can start soon! Also on the same day with my negative test our friends told us that they are expecting their third! I am very happy for them but very very sad for me as chances are not good for me. Sorry for the depressed post! I will be fine given time.
