@BambiOnIce80 @candycornlover congratulation on your BFPs.

@Rovera12@Feline123@41trying so sorry that the news has not been the positive outcome we all hope for. Big hugs to you all.

HJF84 · 28/01/2020 19:06

Congratulations @BambiOnIce80! Such wonderful news. And congratulations @candycornlover. I'm also 4dp5dt but I'd be too scared to rest now! I wish you both happy and healthy pregnancies

I'm sorry to those with BFN. I've been there twice now and it's tough. It's good to have a plan in place for your next step.

No update from me. Apart from still being bloated, I have zero symptoms - which means nothing right now I know, but I'm sure I had more 'symptoms' the last two times. I'm probably reading too much into it though.

UnicornPuff · 28/01/2020 20:06

@41trying @Feline123 @Rovera12 I am so sorry to hear your news.

@BambiOnIce80 congratulations! Please tell me you have bought some HPT abreast you can put them behind you!

@MissHoney85 I have everything crossed for you tomorrow.

SophieMadeleine · 28/01/2020 20:10

Hi All, I’ve always looked on these but never thought to join in on the conversation. I had a 5day frozen embryo last Friday 24th January. It’s our Fifth IVF transfer with no luck previously. However it only takes one time so trying to remain hopeful. I do feel slightly different this time, low back pain off and on and feeling bloated all the time. I know symptoms are too early to tell, but are there any other good early indicators to look out for? My test date is next Tuesday 4th February (day before my Birthday) hoping so much it will be early birthday present :) Good luck to you all xxx

Sarab2020 · 28/01/2020 20:14

I’ve been a bit quiet lately, and just reading through the posts. Congratulations on this BFPs and hugs for everyone with not as good news.

Tummy pains are back today to go with my breasts which have been sore for the past few days. Trying to talk myself into every reason not to run upstairs and do a test. I’m only 6dp3dt it’s taking all my will power to wait until the 4th

FlapJackered · 28/01/2020 20:45

@Rovera12 @Feline123 @41trying I am so sorry it wasn't good news for you, I was rooting for you all. I hope you have a good support network. Look after yourselves. Xxx

@BambiOnIce80 congratulations!!! 🤩 such fantastic news! I was keeping everything crossed for you. You must be over the moon! ❤️

@HJF84 I am with you on the zero symptoms! I have been squeezing my boobs today to test if they are sore 😂

Good luck tomorrow @MissHoney85 🤞🤞🤞🤞

HJF84 · 28/01/2020 21:01

@SophieMadeleine Welcome! I had my ET on Friday too, so we're on similar timelines. My test date in Monday - good luck!

@flapjackered that made me LOL - got to love a boob squeeze. Mine are sore but it's not surprising seeing as I swear they are double their usual size. I think it's all the extra progesterone. I plucked up the courage to step on the scales this morning and I was pleasantly surprised to discover I haven't actually put on any weight, despite feeling like I am a stone heavier 😂

BambiOnIce80 · 28/01/2020 21:30

Thank you all so much ladies 🥰 Your support has been amazing 💖 I think I'm in a dazed and confused phase @FlapJackered , but I'm tentatively happy as well 🥴😊

On the boob squeezing front, that was another reason I was convinced it hadn't worked - they're less sensitive now than they were during stims!

@UnicornPuff I've dug around in the back of my cupboards and found an IC OPK (to test the theory that they cross-react with hCG and you should get a glaringly positive OPK if preggers... I can't contain my inner science geek! 🤓), a clearblue blue dye test that expired in 2013 and a one step IC with a sensitivity of 15IU (which is in date! 😂) 👍😁

Welcome @SophieMadeleine 👋 My DP is convinced that there's only one sure fire 'symptom' I had that made him convinced it would be a BFP - our kitten 😼 A few days ago when we both got home from work, he was doing a weird sniffing thing around us 🤷‍♀️ He gave DP a good sniffing, looked like that wasn't what he was after and then he moved onto me... he got right in my face and started really sniffing all round it - he's only 9 months old and has never done anything like that before. He froze and started sniffing all round my nostrils - totally obsessed! 👃🏻😼🤷‍♀️ Been the same every morning since, but I just put it down to him being a very weird kitten! 😺 😄

Wimbledon1 · 28/01/2020 21:52

Just reading this on the way home. Another really mixed day then. Which I guess given the odds of it working, this mixed set of results isn’t that surprising, but you really want this to be that chat where it works for everyone. Big hugs to those who had a BFN and please go pour yourself a large glass of wine. And huge congrats to those who got their PFB....don’t do that with the wine!

Welcome @SophieMadeleine and fingers crossed for you. Have the five rounds of frozen come from a single EC if you don’t mind me asking?

@FlapJackered; haha. Shortly before reading this I’d been not terribly subtlety poking myself in the boobs on the trail and was thinking people across the aisle probably thought I was mad!

Bestofyou1982 · 28/01/2020 21:54

@MissHoney85 good luck for tomorrow. xxx be kind to yourself whichever way it goes xxx

SophieMadeleine · 28/01/2020 22:05

@HJF84 thank you :) Good luck for you on Monday too :)

@BambiOnIce80 aww that is so cute! I’m a dog mummy and my little dog sticks to me like glue so I will look out for him sniffing me more but I might not know the difference as he’s always closer to me more than the Hubby :)

@Wimbledon1 I’ve had 3 egg retrieval’s - from the 1st retrieval we only got 1 good embryo to transfer. Then 2nd retrieval we got 6 embryos and we did 3 transfers but again no luck. Then last egg retrieval we got 6 embryos and we froze 4. The fresh transfer didn’t work and then I had 6 months off from doing it to give my body a little break and now took 2 frozen embryos which were transferred last Friday 🙏🏼🥚🥚☺️Xxx

Melissa1983 · 29/01/2020 04:00

Hi Ladies

I'm just catching up as I was on the previous thread. I'm so sorry to everyone who didn't get the outcome they wanted so sending lots of love.

Congratulations to all of you that got your BFP 💕. I will continue to watch the thread to see how you all get on.

My 7 eggs resulted in 2 4bb blastocysts (apparently good) which are frozen. I'll have surgery to remove 2 large ovarian cysts next month and will look to transfer later in the year. Xxx

MissHoney85 · 29/01/2020 06:08

Well my period had pretty much started this morning so doing the test seemed like a bit of a sick joke. It was of course a BFN. However...nahen my husband dug it out of the bin later there was a faint line 🤷 I left it for the designated 3 minutes so guess anything that appears later is not valid. Might mention it to the nurses later when I call anyway. At least I've seen a non-negative test now, so there's that ambition fulfills at least!

Pinkstars2501 · 29/01/2020 06:20

Morning.
I don't really want to test early, but my test day is a day a start work at 8am and leave home at 7am. So I'd rather test on Thursday evening after no drinks and a long hold. I will try and swap my shift so I can have test day off (not enough leave to take it as holiday and I've already taken a few days unpaid for transfer). So, does anyone know how long it takes for the trigger hcg to leave your body? I know some people test it out, but I couldn't bring myself to do that. Part of me wishes I had now, but if had then I know myself and would have wasted so much money testing every day since.

My trigger was Gonasi 5000.

Pinkstars2501 · 29/01/2020 06:20

Oh and my trigger was 19th

FlapJackered · 29/01/2020 06:22

@MissHoney85 I don't want to give false hope but my sister had quite a bit of bleeding at the beginning of her pregnancy. Did you use a frer? I have checked many of my previous bfn's in the past after the allotted time and never had a line. 🤞
Do you have a blood test with your clinic?

@Wimbledon1😂 mine are going to start hurting from all the poking! ...at least then I can say I have a symptom!

@BambiOnIce80 that's good to know you didn't have sore boobs. Although I am so sure it hasn't worked I don't even want to test anymore 🙈

@HJF84 that sounds promising that they have got bigger! Mine look exactly the same as they always do. 🙄

@Melissa1983 that is great you have two frozen! 👍

MissHoney85 · 29/01/2020 06:42

@FlapJackered thanks for the reassurance. I used a test the clinic gave me, didn't seem like a commercial one. My husband has googled (of course) and thinks its an evaporation line, which means it's still negative. These little bits of hope are so bloody annoying!

FlapJackered · 29/01/2020 07:00

@MissHoney85 I am so sorry. It is so hard when our bodies play tricks on us.
Take care of yourself. ❤️

UnicornPuff · 29/01/2020 07:26

@MissHoney85 was it pink dye or blue dye? I think the blue dye are quite bad for evaporation lines. The pink less bad. Look after yourself today.

BambiOnIce80 · 29/01/2020 07:48

Evap lines are such b🤬tards @MissHoney85 - I'm so sorry 😔 Be kind to yourself today.x

That's great news about your 2 frosties @Melissa1983! ❄ I hope you had a lovely birthday?x

I know this is probably a stupid question @Pinkstars2501 , but how patient are you feeling?! Are you working on Saturday and, if not, could you test a day later instead?

I think the crazy I went through all day Monday and all yesterday morning @FlapJackered has demonstrated to me that it's sodding impossible to tell the difference between AF symptoms and pregnancy symptoms! 🤯 The only 2 things I had that were different to my usual AF symptoms was the bloating/wind and feeling a teeny bit queasy (both of which could easily just be the bloody progesterone and nothing to do with my BFP!). Oh, and the dull lower right-sided ache that came and went from about 2dp5dt (I've totally convinced myself that that's where our embie has taken up residence now! 😄). Remind me when OTD is for you?x

Sarab2020 · 29/01/2020 07:49

So sorry @MissHoney85 look after yourself ❤️

Viletta · 29/01/2020 08:01

Hi all, I’ve got a bfp this morning! First time I see it, it’s my 4th transfer! We are over the moon!

UnicornPuff · 29/01/2020 08:20

@viletta congratulations!

Wimbledon1 · 29/01/2020 08:28

That’s great @Viletta, many congratulations 🥳

Pinkstars2501 · 29/01/2020 08:41

@BambiOnIce80 at present I don't feel any kind of symptoms at all so I'm not particularly impatient. But yeh I will be working from Friday all weekend, so could do with knowing before really.
