@BambiOnIce80 OTD is Friday. 😬 it's a blood test as it will only be 9dpt, so I won't find out until around 4pm apparently. I am just looking forward to the end of limbo land!

@Pinkstars2501 I pee'd on various sticks this morning (why not, right?! 🤪) at 10dp5dt and got BFP's on HPT's with sensitivities down at 10IU and 25IU, so you should be OK as long as the HPT your using is sensitive - does that mean you'll be testing tomorrow? 🍀🤞

@SophieMadeleine, you’ve really been through it haven’t you. Sorry to hear that but if you got six embies both subsequent times it sounds like they messed up your meds the first time! It’s good to have quite a few Frosties, well done!! Really hope one (or both!) of them settle in this time x

@BambiOnIce80 no sadly, it's next Friday that's my OTD. My husband won't let me test any sooner than the Thursday....

I'm in full on period cramps now. Luckily I have also lost my voice so have a good 'calling in sick' voice and can spend the day on the sofa cuddling the kitten.

My OTD is Friday the 31st. I feel quite resigned to it being BFN. And I think I have accepted that but I am worried as I cant take friday off work. I am just concerned that I will cry at work 😪 I know it is a trivial but it is really playing on my mind.

Aw @UnicornPuff don't give up just yet. Are you sure you can't pull a sicky or something on Friday? Or maybe catch my sore throat and lose your voice? 😉 What is your relationship with your colleagues like? Hopefully they would understand if you were upset about something, even if they didn't know why. Work can be a good way to take your mind off things anyway. I kind of wish I had something else to do today other than think about it and feel sorry for myself!

@flapjackered My sore swollen boobs are a side effect of the extra progesterone I'm sure. Someone commented on how big my boobs looked today (a female work colleague) and I laughed it off as a great padded bra 😂

@bambionice80 I've heard pets sometimes know before you do. I'm hoping that my cat will react to me, but as of yet, nothing. I'm only 5dp5dt so I guess there is still time 🤞🏼

@UnicornPuff I got my BFN blood test results on work days - twice! The calls came in around 3pm so I said I was feeling unwell both times and left. A migraine is always a good excuse. Although I hope you get good news on Friday.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so DH and I are off for a spa break. Except he'll be the one swimming and in the steam room. I'll be relaxing and reading my book poolside.

@MissHoney85 My work know more about what's going on IVF wise than all my friends and family! We diary/workload share. I had annual leave last week which meant that things that take more than one person were postponed and need to be done on Friday. I have said I will be in late and duck out as early as possible. I dont like to cry in front of people which I know is silly but I will probably break that rule on friday and then remember this for the next time!

@MissHoney85 sorry to hear it wasnt the clear positive hoped for. Have you tested with another commercial test? As someone else said earlier, I've seen MANY negative tests and never has a second line appeared later on any of mine (obviously test dependent). Could it be worth another test tomorrow morning?

@Bestofyou1982 I'm pretty sure it was a false positive, my period is in full flow now along with cramping. The nurse didn't seem to think that the late positive meant anything so don't think I will put myself through it again!

@UnicornPuff I'm sure they will understand then. Its never nice crying in front of people though, I know.

Well. After posting that I did indeed test again, and got a very very faint line but I'm pretty sure it's there. Not really sure what to do with that information. I've been bleeding quite a bit so guessing it's maybe a chemical pregnancy? I at least feel weirdly reassured that I can get pregnant. I've given myself another pessary just in case it makes a difference and will call the clinic again tomorrow. What a rollercoaster!

@MissHoney85 but it is there! Check tomorrow with FMU. I have everything crossed for you 🤞

@MissHoney85 is the bleeding settling? Because the line showed up quicker than this morning which would make me think (potentially incorrectly I dont know about speed) that your HCG has continued to rise today.

The bleeding has pretty much been steady all day. I'm not entertaining too much hope, but at least feel positive that my body can get through another hurdle (kind of).

Tested again this morning with FMU, there's still a line but very very faint so pretty sure it's a goner. Now a bit annoyed with myself for not testing early when the spotting started, could have had some extra progesterone support put in place and things might have been different. Oh well, at least I know for next time that there might be an issue with progesterone.

@MissHoney85 I am sorry it's such a rollercoaster for you, as if it isn't hard enough.❤️
That is great news you can get pregnant though and as you say perhaps next time they will give you the progesterone injections instead?

@UnicornPuff I would probably pull a sicky if it is bad news, I am sure they will understand. Will you do an hpt tomorrow morning or are you waiting for the blood test?

@BambiOnIce80 so now I have lots of symptoms suddenly! 😂🙈 but all symptoms I get before AF each time, so not very helpful!

@MissHoney85 can you contact your clinic today and ask their advise?

@FlapJackered I am POAS super early as my husband is on shifts and wants to be there. I will be wide awake anyway! A zoo day sounds brilliant. You need to do anything that keeps you occupied!

My bad news day plan @UnicornPuff involved whittling down where we were going to go on holiday in a few months time - we had the flights and hotel we wanted open in tabs on the PC ready to hit "place order" as soon as I was off the phone to the clinic... best laid plans and all that! 😂 I hope you won't have to use your plan either 🤞🍀

I'm so sorry that this roller-coaster is throwing you around all over the place @@MissHoney85 😢 Are you going to call your clinic today and see what they have to say in light of your positive tests? I reckon there's a very good chance that they'll want you in for a blood test.x

I caught up with my boss yesterday and told him that the IVF appears to have worked - I think he's in more shock than me! Didn't make any kind of 'oh, that's nice Bambi' noises or anything 😕 I'm a bit surprised because he's been really good and supportive since I told him what was going on 🤷‍♀️ I guess he didn't really think it'd actually work (a bit like me! 😄) and now he's thinking '💩. I bet I won't be able to get mat cover for her, so that's another headache I don't need 😣' 🤔 I ended up just saying we'll see if it's viable at the 7 week scan and take it from there 🔮

Called my clinic, the nurse advised waiting 48 hours from the first test for hormones to go up so told me to keep taking the progesterone and test again tomorrow morning. No mention of a blood test. I've done the cyclogest, but having compared this morning's test to yesterday evening's the line seems much fainter this morning so feels a bit pointless. Just want to get off the cyclogest and my period over with now!

I'm feeling rubbish today! Like I'm coming down with cold/ flu ... am hoping it's yet another progesterone side effect?! I was just starting to feel normal again yesterday 😭. Bloating much better, can fasten jeans again! 😃 Am hyper aware that implantation should have occurred now or around now (5dp3dt) and this would be the worst time to get sick!
