Evening all, I'm not sure when the page gets to 40 pages you cant post anymore.
Can we make another with same name continued on it? So we can carry on?
Would the person that started the page like to do it?

@CupcakeEater I couldn't help myself and tested this morning, of course it was a BFN as I'm only 6dp2dt but I thought "this octopus inside my stomach won't let me be until I do it" I also thought that regardless of this early result the final outcome will still be the same and in the meantime I keep that mollusc asleep 💪

So sorry to hear that @YouCanButTry, take care of yourself Flowers

@Adri83, I must admit I am tempted (and I am not one who usually feels the need to POAS) to just get an answer but I think I'll hold out til OTD or I'll be questioning the result … I know what you mean about being thankful too, having had a TFF last time I am happy to have got far enough to be in with a chance this time round so will try to take that as a positive if the result is a BFN.

BFN for me this morning. I just wanted to thank you all for sharing my first TWW with me and getting me through. Good luck to all those still waiting. I hope you have a healthy pregnancy, all those who have got a BFP and I wish all those who got a BFN success in your continued journey.

@Viletta forgot to mention; Netflix is my best friend! Specially since I'm a home stay wife! Netflix and Friends... I reckon in a couple of days I'll finish my Netflix movies list and probably gonna have watched every episode of Friends at least 3 times lol

@Viletta thank you! I haven't got any yellow discharge only the white that comes from the pessaries and omg I am bloated alll the time! Plus the cramps of course that play with my mind!

@CupcakeEater have you thought about testing earlier? I know I'm earlier than you but the thought of it and the extra Pregnancy test are winking at me 🙈

I'm staying positive but overall thankfull that I've got this far considering I was heading to an abandoned cycle.

Welcome @Adri83.

I'm glad it went well today @Sabz36.

Congrats on your beta HCG @Mischali Flowers

I've had quite a bit of cramping today, at 7dp5dt I'm thinking it's probably too late for implanting and too early for a period so who knows. Wish I could fast forward to Saturday already, the waiting and wondering is torture...

@Adri83 what a journey! Glad that the embie looks perfect, fingers crossed it sticks! I found best to get distracted as much as possible with walks and Netflix during 2ww. I had cramps and yellow discharge and that was good sign for me. Good luck!

@Apatosaurus20 if you can find rooibos tea in the UK at all, try it. It’s naturally caffeine free and is brilliant for a number of health reasons.
My beta this morning 8dp5dt is 139,7.
Repeat to be done on Wednesday. Tests have been getting darker daily since 5dp5dt so I don’t doubt that hcg levels are rising nicely as they should.

Hi everyone!
I’ve been following this thread for a while now and to be fair is the only thing that has kept me sane since I’ve started this journey!

After ttc for almost 3 years started IVF on a long protocol in January. Started on Buserelin to regulate my cycle and then Gonal F for, what I would say, a very very veeeeery long time! To the point where I was just waiting for doctors to say my cycle was going to be abandoned. 18 days on Gonal F

Every time I would go to my scans they could only find 1 follicle growing around 1mm every other day so of course I felt this was going to fail and went through a rough 2 days of feeling really down and depressed but then I woke up and said to myself “you know what? Let’s start over! This is not the end and we’ll have a better outcome next time” so I started looking forward to going back to gym and doing my boxing 😀 and everyday I was waiting for the “we are going to have to cancel this cycle” but that day never came, instead when I thought what was going to be my last weekend on 450 Gonal F (started on 350 and then upped to 450) got a call from nurse saying I would have my EC on Monday (17/02) I was really surprised but also confused 😐

Went on Monday, got my EC, only 1 egg (ICSI) never thought it would get fertilised and it did! I would get a 2 day transfer.

Got to clinic (St Barts Hospital in London) and dr said my embryo was doing exactly what it was supposed to do and it had very good quality, and so the 2ww begun!

Today is my 5dp2dt and been feeling since day 0 like my period is going to come. My hopes are high again while the waiting is just torture! So thank you all of you for being here, this is the best support group I’ve ever encountered! :)

@Aptosaurus20 I drink about 5 pints of decaf tea everyday, it's totally fine :-)

Report
Apatosaurus20 · 24/02/2020 11:45

Thank you so so much @Viletta and @justkeeprunning5 it has taken years to get this far and I was so angry at myself this morning for not thinking about the decaf before, we didn’t expect to have any embryos so I hadn’t given this side of things any thought as I was just going through the motions to exhaust all options.

Hope all is well with everyone else on the thread, I know everyone must be having so many different anxieties! 💫

Please try not to worry (easier said than done I know), as previous post said, any chemicals are minimum and baby doesn’t take anything from the mother in the very early days. We are exposed to so many chemicals in modern life, it would be very hard to avoid them all.

Report
Viletta · 24/02/2020 10:56

@Apatosaurus20 if there is any chemicals there are very little of them and it won't hurt anything. The baby doesn't share your blood flow yet, it feeds from the yellow body.

Apatosaurus20 · 24/02/2020 09:27

@Viletta thank you, I will pop out later and get some, I’m just worried about all the decaf tea I’ve drunk this weekend 😥 I can’t believe I didn’t think about this earlier!

I think bright pink discharge can also be from cervix that was irritated by progesterone. Spotting they say is normal.

@Apatosaurus20 there are naturally decaf teas and organic black decaf. I got clipper in I bleached bags. You can also get some organic lemons and ginger and boil them for a home made hot drink. I bit of honey or sugar.

Good luck for today @Sabz36 🤞🏻

Just wondering if there are any other avid tea drinkers here? I switched from (low) caffeine intake to only decaf (Yorkshire tea) last week and have been drinking this all weekend since ET and only thought about the potential dangers of this this morning (chemicals used to process it/still some caffeine present)...just wondered what other peoples thoughts were Shock (having slight panic/melt down)

CupcakeEater · 23/02/2020 21:44

I've still got a headache and I had a (really really) tiny amount of light pink blood when I wiped (just the one time) this morning so have been googling implantation bleeds all day. I'm hoping it's that but it was such a light colour and there was so little of it, I only noticed because I was looking out for it! No other symptoms. Currently 6dp5dt.

I hope ET goes well tomorrow @Sabz36 x
