When is your test day @Pinkstars2501? You are a day ahead of me - I'm 3dp3dt. Time is going sooo slowly, though being back at work is helping pass the time.

Pinkstars2501 · 28/01/2020 09:10

@Chooklass hi, test day is 7th. Seems so far away even though really if I say it's next Friday then that doesn't seem so far. Madness.

Chooklass · 28/01/2020 09:23

Oh, mine is 5th! Odd that different clinics make us wait different times!

Pinkstars2501 · 28/01/2020 09:52

Yeh it's so odd. You can never guess what they'll say, even though you'd love to.

Feline123 · 28/01/2020 10:36

Just to confirm that it was a very obvious BFN for me this morning! 😢

I’ll be following this thread and hoping for lots of BFPs from you all. Good luck everyone x x

Viletta · 28/01/2020 12:14

@Feline123 so sorry to hear this. I am testing tomorrow and dreading it... do you have plans for your next cycle?

I’ve just found a hilarious article saying you can use toothpaste to test.. it might save a lot of money for poas addicts.

candycornlover · 28/01/2020 12:34

Eeeeeeeeeeekkkkk, I couldn't help myself any longer, I'm 4dp5dt and I got the faintest faintly line this morning on a FRER test🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Going to do it again in morning, I told myself don't be upset if nothing there as it's way to early. But I am home alone today and I just couldn't help myself after binging on YouTube live pregnancy testing videos 🤣🤣

Just saw your update there @Feline123
Im so sorry, big gentle hugs for you 😢xx

Chooklass · 28/01/2020 12:59

So sorry @Feline123 x

@candycornlover - tentatively excited! Hope you get a stronger line tomorrow! x

I'm feeling a bit odd today, like I keep wanting to take deep breaths, like the yawning urge? Lightheaded too. Is this a normal progesterone side effect? I'll be speaking to clinic in an hour or so and will mention to them, but just wondered if anyone else had this?

Rovera12 · 28/01/2020 13:58

Hello ladies, I checked with FMU today and a BFN.
I can’t contact the clinic as my OTD is 30th, I wish I could stop the pessary now so my period could start.
At least to enable me know what is next , the leaflet I was given also states something like!!! we might not get a review appointment if it’s a straight forward case with multiple funded cycles.
The patient will be told over the phone when next cycle could start and come for medication then.

41trying · 28/01/2020 14:33

Hey all!
So from my very faint line, I took a morning one and there was on line, so I really think it is the end of the road.
I will still do clinic test OTD Thursday but I know the answer.
Good luck to everyone else testing, positive thoughts for you. I'll stay on for a few days to wish you all luck

@41trying sorry it a BFN. I am lost for words right now!!! I wish I could give you a tight hug.
My family is worried about me as I have not stepped out my bed since last night except to shower, but I told them I will be fine.

41trying · 28/01/2020 14:53

@Rovera12 I did the test and also went back to bed. It's really shit. We put yourself through weeks and months of preparing.
Are you doing it again? If you are you have another chance. This was my last try, I told myself this at the start of this cycle. I cant do this again and I have also spent around 20k. It's not even about the money, it's so mentally straining.
I will be booking some holidays need something to look forward to

@Rovera12 @41trying so sorry about you bfn... this is heartbreaking. Take a lot of rest

Viletta · 28/01/2020 15:56

@candycornlover fantastic news!! Hope everything will go smooth from here onwards!

BambiOnIce80 · 28/01/2020 15:57

I am so, so sorry @Rovera12 @Feline123 @41trying 😔 Be very, very kind to yourselves ❤️

That's fantastic news @candycornlover 🥰 I had no idea there were live pregnancy testing videos on YouTube! 😮😂

Keeping everything crossed for some good news and frosties for you @Chooklass (was thinking of you at the clinic today 😘) 🤞

So I appreciate this whole journey is a total roller-coaster and I hope you guys don't think I'm an arsehole 😣 I was totally convinced AF was on her way yesterday and this morning (thus the crying and hysterionics of previous posts), but I got my serum beta-hCG result back this afternoon and it turns out it's 135IU - so for the moment I'm apparently pregnant 😳 I absolutely, honestly feel like AF is around the corner (as I whinged on and on about yesterday 😬), but seemingly not just yet!

Good luck for your test tomorrow @Viletta 🍀

Viletta · 28/01/2020 16:03

@bambionice80 I’ve found lots of threads where pregnant ladies discuss yellow discharge when taking progesterone suppositories. I don’t think it’s a bad sign.. but probably something to do with progesterone messing up vaginal bacteria balance. Although even the ones that take it otherwise also get yellow discharge sometimes. Good luck!

Chooklass · 28/01/2020 16:10

@BambiOnIce80 I'm so happy for you!!! Been wondering all day! 🥳🥳🥳

We got one frostie, which we're very grateful for! I forgot to ask details about quality etc but presumably ok if they froze it!

Rovera12 · 28/01/2020 16:19

@candycornlover congratulations wishing you a healthy 9months.

@41trying yes I have two more NHS funded cycles, I don’t think I can give up just yet. Wow that huge 20k!!!! I have been checking where to go for my 35th birthday. I am a twin and anything I plan has to be myself, partner and twin. Getting holiday for 3 is more expensive compare to 2 or 4. Really had to decided because I have never had my birthday without my twin.

@Feline123 sorry about your BFN, get enough rest!!! Cyber hugs🤗 .

@BambiOnIce80 yay so happy for you hun, wishing you a healthy 9 months.

Ladies before I started this ivf journey, I never thought it could go wrong at some point. My mind was like everything is ok and fine with me and fertility issue is azoospermia, we got 9 vials after SSR stores. So what could make it go wrong? Until I started , read lot about IVF and it dawned on me.
Getting to egg retrieval got 15eggs with mild ivf, only 6 fertilised all good on day 3 , finally only one good blast to transfer that did not stick.
Ok what could have been the problem is the big question now?

To others waiting to test, I wish you get a BFP, I love to read success stories. 😁😁

God bless you all.

Rovera12 · 28/01/2020 16:20

** SSR stored for freezing

Feline123 · 28/01/2020 16:36

Thank you everyone - even though I knew before I tested, it still hurts like hell! I thought I was being pessimistic about the process throughout, but then once I got AF and a BFN I realised how much I’d been hoping and imagining a pregnancy and baby out of this cycle!

@41trying @Rovera12 I’m so sorry - it’s so so unfair, just take it one day at a time. I know that’s so much easier said than done and I wish I could take my own advice... I have skipped forward about 40 years in my head several times today imagining a life without kids and grandchildren! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ Which then made me cry even more. I constantly have puffy eyes at the moment!

@BambiOnIce80 please don’t feel guilty for having a BFP... that is such fantastic news and right now I need to hear success stories. Is this your first round of IVF? Enjoy every moment and I wish you a happy and healthy 9 months! Congratulations 😊

Best of luck to everyone else, hope the time goes quickly for you until you can test x x

Viletta · 28/01/2020 16:44

@BambiOnIce80 just saw your bfp! Congratulations!!!! Hope all goes well!

BambiOnIce80 · 28/01/2020 17:14

Yay for the frostie @Chooklass!! ❄🤩 It's bloody awesome to have an insurance policy in the freezer 👍 Heads up for test day - there's another secret phone number that they hand out just for that and they answer on the first ring! 📞😮😁

@Viletta it would indeed appear that the yellow tinged CM thing wasn't the harbinger of doom that I thought it was! 😂 Hopefully it's a good sign for you too 🤞x

@Rovera12 it's the not knowing why that's the hardest thing 😔 I was going over and over and over this yesterday, but then today I'm still none the wiser as to why IVF seems to have worked where standard TTC has failed for the best part of a decade. It's great news that you've got 2 more funded cycles and I hope you can get a debrief with the consultant soon.x

Thank you so much for being lovely @Feline123 💖 I do feel guilty, especially after all my freaking out yesterday - I'd still think AF was coming even now if it wasn't for the blood result (I even called them back about 3 hours later to double check there hadn't been some kind of mistake! 🤦‍♀️). This was my first and only fresh cycle (we self-funded and we couldn't afford another one), so I really can't believe today's result. Have you managed to think about what you'd like to do next?x

Chooklass · 28/01/2020 17:19

Oooh a secret number @BambiOnIce80 !! Thanks for the inside info! I'm totally fed up getting the busy line noise!! So happy for you! Xx

Feline123 · 28/01/2020 17:39

@BambiOnIce80 I don’t think anyone has ever got through the ivf tww without freaking out at some point, regardless of outcome, so I wouldn’t worry about that 😂 And I’m so pleased for you, especially as it was your only cycle. We have one more cycle on the nhs and I’d start again tomorrow if I could. Not sure when it will all start again, but I’ll be happier once I know. I’m so scared of next time not working. And think of it this way, if us lot with BFNs didn’t want to see happy news from you BFPers we wouldn’t log in! Personally I’m following this thread still in the hope that everyone else get BFPs...weirdly it’s helping me!

MissHoney85 · 28/01/2020 17:53

That's great news @BambiOnIce80! 🎉🎉🎉

My spotting has continued since Sunday and today has gone from brown to more of a red colour, along with a lot of lower back pain. Seems pretty pointless taking the test tomorrow, not looking forward to it 😔 looking forward to having it done and moving on though.
