Good luck anyone who has a scan or a call today (sorry, have slightly lost track!)

@MissHoney85 I have the exact same thing before my AF with around three or four days even of spotting, so I’m expecting my body to be giving me a hint before the test. That said, I’ve seen plenty of people online saying the time they got their bfp it behaved exactly the same as their normal month. So just who knows. I’ll keep everything crossed for you!

@UnicornPuff, funny that all three of us have Friday (and Brexit day, it’s all happening that day!!)

Rovera12 · 27/01/2020 14:24

Hi ladies, I don’t know where to start from but I tested negative few hours ago. I had gone to the toilet this morning( TMI) wiped and saw blood on my tissue.
I have never heard of implantation bleed on day 9dp5dt so I decided to test which came back negative. Though I have checked for almost two hours and nothing has come out or even on the tissue , probably it’s the cyclogest stopping the period. My period was due Friday/Saturday.
I will continue the pessaries till OTD which is the 30th. I know tears can’t change anything but I had to let it out.
Thank you all

41trying · 27/01/2020 15:13

Afternoon all, I hope everyone is holding up ok.
@Rovera12, I also tested a few hours ago and had the faintest of faintest positive lines, also thought I was seeing things, so asked my sister to check. This was on a early response test. So about an hour ago I brought another clear blue and it came up negative. I just really dont know how to take it.
I will test in the morning again to see what happens, OTD is 30th.

I'm sorry that you've had a bit of a bleed @Rovera12 💐 Did you do the test with FMU or not? Not wanting to give false hope, but it could be a false BFN if you weren't able to use FMU.x

Im struggling today (day before OTD). I googled I know, I know! 🤦‍♀️ the yellow tinged CM thing and the general consensus was that it's due to tiny quantities of either old or new blood mixing with the CM on the run up to AF... so I ended up having a little cry in the toilets at work 🙄 I've given myself a strong talking to and mental slap and have made myself just accept that it's not likely to be good news tomorrow. No point doing a HPT - seeing another BFN will just mess with my mental health. I'm feeling amazingly calm now (especially considering I was crying a few hours ago!), so I'm hoping accepting this will make it less painful tomorrow 🤞

I'll still report back on the blood test result, just to dot I's and cross T's 😉 Sending positive vibes to @Feline123 @41trying for good news tomorrow 🍀💓🍀💓

Rovera12 · 27/01/2020 15:44

@41trying don’t loose hope yet, atleast you got a faint positive, I did not get a faint positive at all it was negative and I wiped (TMI) in the morning when I went to the loo. I don’t know if I will be testing again though. Xx

BambiOnIce80 · 27/01/2020 15:44

Sorry @41trying , I missed your post! Definitely test tomorrow with your FMU!! Keeping everything crossed for you for a stronger line 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Feline123 · 27/01/2020 16:08

Thanks @BambiOnIce80 unfortunately I had spotting 6dpt, bleeding 7&8 and spotting again today on 9dpt so I’m pretty sure that was my period. Cried most of the weekend! Still having to use the progesterone and test tomorrow which is annoying, so I’m looking forward to getting that out of the way so I can move on.

Wishing you all massive amounts of luck and hope to see lots of happy news x x x

Rovera12 · 27/01/2020 16:09

@BambiOnIce80 no I did not test with FMU as I did not plan on resting today . I got the bl_d when I went to the loo about 11 and must have gone to wee 3 or 4 times before that time.
I have wiped and wiped nothing, no cramps , no headaches just my normal self.
Ladies how soon can one start another cycle after a BFN?

Rovera12 · 27/01/2020 16:12

@Feline123 so sorry to hear you are spotting off and on. When is your official OTD?
I am not in the best position to give advice right now but my sister bleed through pregnancy and still had a healthy baby.

41trying · 27/01/2020 16:15

@Rovera12, I would test on OTD with FMU.
As for another cycle, I did it again as soon as AF arrived but not sure if this was because I was paying!

Feline123 · 27/01/2020 16:20

@Rovera12 thank you, sorry you’re having a hard time too! It was a bleed on sat and sun so I’m almost certain it’s not worked. Trouble is, it was a light bleed which gives me that tiny tiny bit of hope...however reality tells me my periods are always light so I’m not getting hopes up really. Plus I did have mild cramps with it. OTD is tomorrow which will be 10dpt5dt.

As for when we can go on to next cycle...I’ve been googling this and I think it depends on your clinic and whether or not you’re having a FET or fresh cycle. I’m hoping they’ll tell me tomorrow!

Rovera12 · 27/01/2020 16:45

@feline123 I still have hope though. Well I need to read up everything I can do to have more eggs and better embryos to freeze and transfer.
I tried my best to eat healthy , took coq10, Royal jelly etc .

MissHoney85 · 27/01/2020 17:18

@Rovera12 don't give up hope on this cycle yet, you are a few days short of OTD and did not use FMU so a negative test might not be the end.

Feline123 · 27/01/2020 17:39

Just bought a HPT for tomorrow as a back up to the strip test the clinic gave me...the lady in the shop said good luck... I wanted to say ‘oh no, I’ve had my period so I know I’m not pregnant but I’m being forced to take one anyway’... I didn’t tho 😂

Bestofyou1982 · 27/01/2020 19:09

Hi ladies, it looks like the Monday blues all round. Big hugs and good vibes to you all. It's easier said than done but don't give up hope until you really have to. All these drugs we are on along with the mental weight of the whole process can do strange things to us. We should be kinder to ourselves. I'm worried my faint positive may become a BFN as still having cramping pains and a little more bleeding. Going to hang on as long as possible to restest again so I can stay in the bubble of maybe it work this time.
Anyone given rectal pessaries a whirl? I'm so glad I switched from vaginal, just one less thing to worry about (mess, potential thrush etc...)
Good luck for anyone awaiting updates tomorrow. x

MissHoney85 · 27/01/2020 19:15

@Bestofyou1982 I do my pessaries rectally, I find it so much better. I don't know why everyone doesnt do it like that, maybe it's squeamishness! It's the first time I've put anything up my bum (TMI? 😂) but it's fine after the initial weirdness.

Wimbledon1 · 27/01/2020 19:36

Hi ladies - I asked about this on one of the bigger threads because I was worried with all the mess that I wasn’t absorbing any progesterone, and I’d read for fertility it had to be vaginal. But various people replied saying their consultant or nurse had said it makes no difference and rectally is fine. So I switched over to that. So much less grim!!

Send positive vibes to everyone 🍀

MissHoney85 · 27/01/2020 19:51

Yes I did see on a website that it should be vaginal for fertility treatment but my nurse said it doesn't make a difference. I figure as long as it gets absorbed into the bloodstream it doesn't really matter.

UnicornPuff · 27/01/2020 19:52

@feline123 and @rovera12 I am sure I have heard that ladies can spot the whole way through the first trimester so even though it might be too late for implantation I dont think it means you are out. I think really you need to keep a bit of hope until ODT.

@MissHoney85 and @bestofyou1982 I started the pessaries rectally and had the worst wind! (TMI) It was so bad I constantly felt like I needed to open my bowels and it was just wind. I wasnt constipated. Switched to vaginal and although I need to wear a pad for an hour or so after the wind has gone! It could have been a coincidence and if I am lucky enough 🤔 to need to continue this for 12 weeks I will probably switch back as it really was easier!

@41trying that's exciting! Faint or not a line is a line! Plus was it FMU? I am so excited to hear your update tomorrow 😁

HJF84 · 27/01/2020 20:48

Lots of Monday blues here. As @UnicornPuff says, you need to keep the faith until test date. Keeping my fingers crossed for you all 🤞🏼

I'm only 3dp5dt today but the bloating is real! My boobs feel as if they are double the size and I feel as if I've put on a stone in weight. I think it's a combination of the extra progesterone and the prednisone, as I didn't have this with my last FET. @FlapJackered how are you getting on with the extra meds?

@BambiOnIce80 Glad it's not just me with the night sweats! Might have to sleep with window open tonight 🥵

FlapJackered · 27/01/2020 21:15

Sorry everyone is having a hard time today. I am with you all. This tww is much harder than I anticipated!
My clinic said I wasn't allowed to do my progesterone rectally as the one I am taking is better absorbed vaginally.🤷‍♀️ It's GRIM though.

@HJF84 I am SO bloated. I look very pregnant, but don't feel pregnant at all 🙈
I also managed to mess up my Inhixa injection last night and now have a massive bruise. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I am also waking up at 5am latest every morning 😩
How are you finding it all?

@41trying a line is a line! I would definitely be FMUing it tomorrow 🤞

Viletta · 27/01/2020 21:19

I also heard many stories about women bleeding through first trimester, the embryo is supposed to implant into the bloodstream, grow and stretch uterus.. so hopefully no one is out yet .. I would keep hope till otd. I’m testing on Wednesday which would be 12dp6dt. Anyone with me? My otd is Friday though

Chooklass · 28/01/2020 07:00

Sending positive vibes to you today @BambiOnIce80 and anyone else testing! 8 more days until my OTD but I should find out if any of my other embies are freezable today 🤞🤞🤞

My nurse was quite firm about not focussing on cramping/ spotting etc over the TWW as the hormones mean nothing will be as normal. Easier said than done but might give hope to some! Also - my Mum had what she thought were normal periods all through first trimester with me ... so you just never know what our bodies are going to throw at us!

On a different topic - it's baltic in Scotland this morning, so hopefully that should help my hot flushes! 😂

HJF84 · 28/01/2020 08:00

Good luck to all those testing today! 🤞🏼

@flapjackered I'm finding the injections tough - I have so many little bruises over my stomach! But hopefully it will all be worth it.

I actually slept reasonably well last night. I woke up at 5am (rather than 4am) and I managed to get to sleep quite quickly. So that's a bonus.

Pinkstars2501 · 28/01/2020 08:47

Hello, I've popped over from the other support thread. Congrats to those with BFPs and I'm so sorry to those who haven't had such lovely news.

I'm currently 2dp5dt (well not quite because it was done at 12:30) and I'm going through stages of feeling relaxed, then wishing OTD would hurry up.

Yesterday I felt a few twinges like little shocks. But today, so far, I feel totally normal, aside from the bloating. I go back to work tomorrow so hoping that makes time go a bit faster.

Good luck to anyone testing today!
