@Piglet11 I also had pink spotting yesterday. I think it’s a side effect of the pessaries.

YouCanButTry · 21/02/2020 17:11

@Piglet11 so pleased to hear that. I've been thinking of you today but didn't want to ask incase it was bad news. Really pleased to hear it's not!

Mischali · 22/02/2020 05:11

This AM. I don’t have pics of yesterday’s tests because DS destroyed them while I was getting dressed (I gave them to him to show his dad lol)

YouCanButTry · 22/02/2020 08:49

That's a positive, isn't it? I think I can see a line.

lilybelle123 · 22/02/2020 09:34

We caved and tested this morning 10dp5dt- and it was a BFP!!!!

Still hasn’t sunk in really- but absolutely amazing!!!! First time in my life it’s been positive- bring on the next 9 months 😊

How long do you wait until you tell people?

YouCanButTry · 22/02/2020 09:53

Wow! Another positive!! Great news @lilybelle123! Congratulations!

Viletta · 22/02/2020 10:27

@lilybelle123 congratulations!! Our family and some friends knew about IVF and we told them the results pretty much right away. We'll wait for 12w to tell everyone else.

@Mischali there is definitely a line! Hope it gets darker in a few days, it's still quite early on for you isn't it.

Mischali · 22/02/2020 10:56

Congrats Lilybelle!
Yep it’s positive, a little blurry but line is already darker than yesterday. Only 6dp5dt today but again 2 positives on 2 different types of tests.

Piglet11 · 22/02/2020 13:34

Thanks @YouCanButTry. Still no more blood but have a new worry now. I have this dull ache type feeling in my lower left abdomen (almost like someone is poking I’m in the ovary area). I had this with my last fet and it ended up being a bfn. Thinking I might test tomorrow at 12dp5dt but I’m scared to actually know the result.

Congrats @lilybelle123 that’s great news.

How is everyone else getting on?

YouCanButTry · 22/02/2020 14:14

My resolve to not test early is being tested! I'm still largely fine. Been feeling a bit crampy the lat couple of days but I don't think it's AF. I usually spot for a few days before AF and the craps start so I'm hoping it's a good sign. I'm keeping busy watching an episode of One Born Every Minute, might do some baking later.

Hello everyone, I’ve been desperately trying to find a chat about 2ww and found you all Smile I had my ET yesterday and am googling every little thing what I should/shouldn’t do (we never expected to get this far so am excited but also very apprehensive). The clinic said just to take it easy yesterday and then carry on with normal everyday activity (no rigorous exercise etc)-I am just chilling today and tomorrow and not doing much at all. But can anyone else tell me what they’ve done/doing...cooking/driving/working etc. I read somewhere that you shouldn't bend, somewhere else that you shouldn’t use your stomach muscles (ie to sit up) and this is driving me CRAZYConfused already...how can you put jeans on if you can’t bend, and how do I stand up if I can’t use my stomach muscles arghhhhh Confused Anyway, I got a pan out of the cupboard about an hour ago and felt a sharp pain (I was very gentle/it wasn’t overly heavy) and now I am having a melt down that I’ve ruined my chances of implantation....pls someone tell me I’m being an idiot! And sorry for bombarding your post Halo

Viletta · 22/02/2020 17:32

@Apatosaurus20 congratulations on your ET! I carried as normal, continued light exercises as usual. I think this early on there is nothing you can do wrong, many people wouldn't know they were pregnant so early. I read walking is great for blood flow ensuring you get oxygen delivered where it needs to be. In terms of eating best eating healthily and avoid things that are not recommended during pregnancy. Good luck!

Apatosaurus20 · 22/02/2020 18:19

Thank you @Viletta for replying and giving me some perspective Smile My OH has been at work all day and no one else knows about this so I’ve just been in my own head all day! I will definitely get myself out for a walk tomorrow

Sabz36 · 22/02/2020 18:27

Hello Everyone

I'm joining a bit early as I will be having my ET Monday. I am beyond nervous.

Minster2012 · 22/02/2020 18:29

@Apatosaurus20 on ET day DH & I went straight out for lunch afterwards, we also walked round Tesco & I carried a shopping bag 😂I then lay on the sofa for the rest of the day but cooked tea, day after I carried on as usual but tried not to lift our 12kg DS as much as possible but did end up lifting him a few times & I delivered leaflets round our village for about a mile as my exercise! And cooked and then say after I went back to walking our 2 active dogs twice a day & definitely couldn’t shirk lifting DS much
I tried not to twist & tried to be careful
It’s worth mentioning both @Viletta & myself got BFPs ☺️

Do what you want but be careful & sensible xx

Apatosaurus20 · 22/02/2020 18:48

Thank you @Minster2012 (can’t tag you for some reason)...I’ve resisted googling much up until last night, I then went on overkill...I am so glad I’ve found this thread though! Smile And huge congratulations to you and @Viletta, I can only imagine that each positive step comes with so much excitement and worry! (I will go back and read the thread fully from the start)

Apatosaurus20 · 22/02/2020 18:52

Ah it did tag you! Just re-read about your dogs Smile my dogs WILL be pleased, they’ve got cabin fever today!

Apatosaurus20 · 22/02/2020 18:55

Hello @Sabz36, I’ve just joined this thread too having had ET yesterday. Good luck Smile

Minster2012 · 22/02/2020 19:24

Yes my dogs looked at me like “why aren’t you walking us?” don’t forget to eat like you are pregnant though @Apataosaurus20 so check the NHS website, that googling is good 😬

CupcakeEater · 22/02/2020 21:53

Welcome @YouCanButTry, @Apatosaurus20 and @Sabz36. I took it easy for 2 days after ET and then have been pretty much back to usual service minus heavy lifting since then.

Congrats @Mischali and @lilybelle123 Flowers Flowers

Had a few symptoms here; some cramps yesterday, hot and cold flushes last night, an almost consistent low level headache since yesterday morning, some bloating and randomly some shortness of breath too. A quick google confirmed all of these would be caused by progesterone so it's a guessing game as to whether any of it is genuine!

Piglet11 · 23/02/2020 07:18

So after having been thinking that my cramps, back pain, bleeding on 9dp5dt was af and dull ache must resulting in a bfn, along with the fact that my embryos were damaged during the thawing process so I was told there was only a small chance in the first place.... I got my BFP this morning 12dp5dt!!! Genuinely in shock! It honestly proves to me that even the lowest grading of embryo has a chance!! 😊😊😊😊

Piglet11 · 23/02/2020 07:30

Littlebb2020 · 23/02/2020 08:11

Congratulations piglet!!!
Good strong positive! And yes I’ve seen plenty of women have bfps and babies with lower grades.
I also had my bfp on otd yesterday. Scared and excited all in one. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! X

lls1990 · 23/02/2020 08:15

Congratulations @Piglet11 I know how you feel this was my worse round with only one fertilising and kept being told it didn't have much chance, by day 5 it wasn't a blastocyst but was at the cavity stage before so they said we may as well put it in but as it's slow and not excellent quality there is low chance. When I got bfp Wednesday I couldn't believe it! Did tests Thursday, Friday and this morning too just to confirm 🙈 took Saturday off testing as I was being brave and now going to try and restrain from any more this week! It's such a great feeling but unbelievable isn't it?! Think mine's only just sinking in now! Good luck 🍀

Viletta · 23/02/2020 08:28

@Piglet11 congratulations!!! Hope it all goes smoothly from here!
