This is for ladies in there TWW that would like to chat and have a little support!

Shame I think my son will be more upset than me with a bfn. He keeps hugging my tummy, patting it and talking to the “tiny baby”, telling it to grow. He had to go to the transfer appt and saw the embryo pics. Anyway I told him the embryo might not survive. So he starts babbling to my tummy in his own language. Tells me he spoke to the tiny baby in baby language, telling it that Jesus will paint a picture of it so that it can live and grow (to clarify, he has a story book where a guy paints animals on a wall and those animals then come to life). So sweet. But shame he will be a bit bewildered if bfn...

Oh gosh that would be tough to deal with @miscali glad the trigger is out x

Every morning (for the last 3) I wake up with dull cramps which stop once I've used my morning pessary and had some breakfast. Can't work out if it's AF cramps which are being deterred purely by pessaries, just morning hunger or nothing at all and I'm just over thinking!

OTD tomorrow and it took all my strength not to test this morning although knowing the odds are stacked against us it does give us another day of living in hope.

I really wanted to test today as well but just peed really quickly to not do it!!

Did we decide that smoked salmon was ok???

Thanks @Lily999 for the link! Hah I don’t trust any sushi or smoked salmon in South Africa during pregnancy... had my farewell sushi on Saturday before transfer.

Great thank you though that’s still a bit contradictive as it says in the main body “smoked salmon in the U.K. is fine” then it says in the bullet points “smoked salmon is ok if it’s been frozen first”

Argh I wanna eat it at lunch and it’s not been frozen but I think I’ll be fine

Ok guys im going to the supermarket what test should I buy? As we had to go straight to ivf I've never taken one before where I want it to be positive haha.
I'll be 10dpt, period would be due. Are pink dye ones best? I think I'd rather a line one and keep digital week indicator ones for later to check it's progressing if its positive. Don't want to spend a fortune...

Hi @parkandride I would suggest a First Response Early Result test, if you can get a box that contains 2of them, I am not a fan of Clear Blue ones as I imagined seeing the + on one of them before :)

1dp5dt here and already getting cabin fever, I thought it'd be nice to have a few days at home chilling but am now wondering if work would have been a good distraction. 29th Feb seems an age away...

Hi everyone. Been reading a lot of your massages and thought I would comment too. A week ago today I underwent my second FET after a BFN last year. I had 2 5day embryos transferred (both of which got damaged during the thawing process with only 70-80% cell survival giving me a reduced chance of a positive outcome). Today I am having a bit of back ache along with small shooting pains down to my lady parts I am pretty certain this is my period coming but being prevented by the progesterone pessaries. Has anyone had anything similar symptomswise or anything to make me feel better about it? Thanks.

I bought 3 different types of tests, and an undisclosed number of them, for my testing spree so that I can compare them 😂😂😂 the lady at the checkout probably thought I was opening a free clinic! Ok if this doesn’t work and we have to do FET I’ll wait till otd.

@parkandride i would buy FRE R or boots own, but if you can buy FRER on amazon its like £5.99 for 2 tests and in stores like £10-12. I got my faint linke on boots test before a FRER which is strange but FRER more sensitive and you could see the progression better on them

@Mischali - lol that was me, i am sure she was like have you not already been in here 3 times this week, BOGOF though

Will def shop around for any more tests I need, it could be an expensive hobby

Hi I’m 8dp5dt and tested faint positives since 6dp
Just wondering if anyone else had bad lower back ache with a bfp this early? I’m getting really worried, I have tested this morning on a frer and it is a little clearer then the previous days tests.

@Piglet11 I have lower back aches and constantly worrying I’m going to come on. I also had a stabbing pain down their for 2 seconds on and off the past few days. Could be good signs!

@littlebb2020 I think you definitely get lower back pains when pregnant 😂I just think the meds make IVF a bit weirder, I don’t think it’s anything to worry about if you are getting positives!! Congratulations! Just keep up the meds in line with your clinic advice I think!

Thankyou! Just need reassurance in a way I think, it’s just because I’ve had the same lower back for years when af was coming so used to it by now meaning I’m not pregnant. What ivf and infertility does to you I guess 🤦🏻‍♀️. I’ve only been testing on a frer I have triple pack of clear blue but I’m too scared to use them 😂😕. Good luck everyone on here x

Thanks for your messages everyone. This 2ww thing is torture. I swear I’m like the princess and the pea as well- I seem to feel every little twinge. I know one day it will all be worth it though. @Littlebb2020 I have everything crossed for you. Keep us updated x
