Wow!!!! Congratulations @QuantumGirl this is fab!! ❤️❤️🎈😘what a day!

Definitely don’t give up hope for anything @Lily999 there are no symptoms for a lot of ppl, my best friend included when we got BFP last time she swears she felt nothing & saw nothing. Though I have to admit I don’t know what CM means? My periods never returned to normal after my chemo treatment so I have only ever had one period (Nov) before we started this, in about 20 years 🙈so I can’t period symptom spit at all 😔

Lily999 · 10/02/2020 09:05

oh, really? I was giving is up completely last night, accepted it didn't work. @Chooklass did you not use the pessaries or crinone gel? I thought if someone is pregnant then the CM gets more and not less.

@Minster2012 CM is cervical mucus I have a lot before ovulation to signal I am fertile then it turns into egg white texture. Afterwards before AF it dries out as I am not fertile anymore, then AF comes and it starts over.

Minster2012 · 10/02/2020 09:11

@lily999 ah ok, honestly I think all the hormones and gels and pessaries and stuff everyone is taking can mess things up so much I would not take things as signs or not just try to relax and keep things crossed
Everyone will react differently xxx

Chooklass · 10/02/2020 09:20

@Lily999 I was on pessaries and had gunk from those (which was obvious, white and chunky) but nothing else.

Chooklass · 10/02/2020 09:23

@Lily999 I have realised there is no normal anymore by the way ... all the drugs will give you a totally different set of 'symptoms' to normal. Most of us who got bfps felt just like you, that AF was imminent!

Lily999 · 10/02/2020 09:23

Thank you @Minster2012 and @Chooklass maybe there is hope after all! Will not test then... was going to do it tomorrow morning on 8dp5dt, that would be 13dpo, when people do get positives, but maybe I just let myself enjoy being PUPO a bit longer.

DobbieFreeElf · 10/02/2020 09:23

3 BFPs to start the week! That's awesome! Congrats to you all! Given me a bit of a positive lift for the next week!

@Lily999 I agree with @Minster2012, so much messing with artificial hormones over the past month must account for something! Also try to remember if all the "common symptoms" some might have all of them and some might have none! My CM before AF is sometimes thick and white and sometimes non existent! When's you're OTD?

BambiOnIce80 · 10/02/2020 09:35

Like @Chooklass says @Lily999 most of us were totally convinced AF was on her way - don't give up hope yet (and don't test yet! 😉) ❤️

OMFG @QuantumGirl I am over the moon for you!! 😍💖😍💖 Best news ever!! 🤩xx

Just reposting the link to the graduates thread with so many BFP's flying about 😁

Patiently waiting haha @louisapipsqueak I wish :) But doing my best, really... @rainbow178 and @Stace999 how are you getting on?

notReginaPhalange · 10/02/2020 10:57

@QuantumGirl @MrsLouB @LouisaPipSqueak congratulations!!!

Yesterday I have my first big meltdown, I'm so tired of all these hormones playing with my body and my mind, really tired. I just want everything over, good or bad. I've got a cold a few days after the ET, like a few people here, read up about it - apparently it's good for the embryo, that way the body is busy fighting the cold rather than the embryo so it has a higher chance of implanting. Also getting a cold means my body functions shifted and the immune system went down.

Even though it all is meant to be positive, I feel fed up with headaches, bone aches, now blocked nose, bloody lightning crotch!

Did what I thought a pregnancy test yesterday, it showed a faint line - it was the closest to being pregnant I have ever been. That was for a few seconds until I realised I peed on an ovulation stick... Decided not to do any more tests until the test day which is the 13th... But might even do it on the 14th as it's Friday so I have a weekend to deal with the result.

Anyone else felt fed up with their hormones?

rainbow178 · 10/02/2020 11:07

Oh wow congrats on the BFP's ladies!! Good news!!

@Lily999 I am just slowly getting through the days till Friday!!! It's killing me! One minute I get a weird twinge that makes me get excited, the next I feel like AF is coming. SO frustrating!!! Going to hold out till Friday though, only going to buy my tests Thursday!! What test has everyone been using??

Stace999 · 10/02/2020 11:19

@Lily999 I am OK just want to know either way now, I have been through this enough times to know that symptom spotting is completely pointless I hate the last week though its impossible not to try and get some clues from your body. Mine is giving naff all away though!

DobbieFreeElf · 10/02/2020 11:46

@notReginaPhalange that's interesting what you say about having a cold, I have the worst cold ever at the moment, started last Tuesday or Wednesday (ET was Friday). I never get colds and even my husband said "it's really unlike you to suffer like this"... I'll try not to read too much into it (yeah right)! I'm like you, over it and ready to feel better!

Lily999 · 10/02/2020 12:14

Hi @rainbow178 that's exactly how I feel maybe even worse because of the no CM that completely threw me off my game yesterday :(
@Stace999 I am actually tempted to test as we are now around 13-14DPO and in normal cycles that's when you would test.... But trying to stay strong!

Re tests I found a few internet cheapies then I have the one from the clinic and saved one digital fancy clear blue, but I think I will only use that if I have a positive on a cheapie as it shows the number of weeks etc.

Chooklass · 10/02/2020 12:32

For what it’s worth I got my bfp on 11dp3dt (14dpo) morning and it was a nice clear line!

Chooklass · 10/02/2020 12:33

(And I used an internet cheapy)

Lily999 · 10/02/2020 13:05

Oh noooo now I am tempted again even more haha! DH wants to wait, but I think even if it's negative I just want to know.... Aaargh why is it so hard! Then some moments I am like why should I destroy being PUPO after a negative test I just take away all the hope.
Women, eh? :)

Stace999 · 10/02/2020 13:06

@Lily999 I know how you feel I tested 2 days early on my 1st ever cycle and got a faint bfp but OTD was negative. I was gutted and since then haven't tested early, at the time I thought it was because I had trigger in my system still but now I'm more informed I think it was a chemical. Having said that I think I'm going to test on Saturday which is only 1 day early, I am going out for a friend's birthday sat night and want to know if I can drown my sorrows! DH is a stickler for rules and wants me to wait but I'll be 12dp5dt so pretty sure it'll be a definitive result.
With regards to your lack of CM I didn't notice any extra CM on a successful iui cycle (ended in m/C at 5 weeks but was progressing) I wouldn't rule yourself out at all. When is your otd?

Lily999 · 10/02/2020 13:16

Thanks @stace999 it is Saturday, but I was going to do it on Friday as it's Valentine's Day plus 12dp5dt is 17dpo so I would think Friday should be accurate.
Thanks for the CM comment, and sorry if it's TMI, but I am properly dry, obviously Googled the shxt out of this and got extremely confused, however the main statement is that CM dries out after ovulation if the woman is not pregnant.
How are you doing the "in your head" part btw? Are you letting yourself hope? I am too scared to get my hopes up so mostly trying to sabotage myself :)
