Thanks everyone! 🤩 Bloods done, just hoping the numbers are ok now before being too excited, will get results after 12:30. Also - turns out we got two frosties?! We only knew about one!

twinkleyes35 · 05/02/2020 09:06

@Chooklass congratulations 🥳 ☺️🤗xx

QuantumGirl · 05/02/2020 09:11

@BambiOnIce80 thank you for mentioning the lower right side dull ache. I frantically searched it all over Google s few days ago as I keep getting it and thought it was ovulation pain. Glad to know I'm not alone 😉☺️😘

Chooklass · 05/02/2020 09:12

I've been getting that too @QuantumGirl - feels just like ovulation pain!

QuantumGirl · 05/02/2020 09:27

Thank you so much for sharing @Chooklass. It reassuring to know after a crap day yesterday 🥰

Viletta · 05/02/2020 09:28

@Chooklass congratulations!!!!

BambiOnIce80 · 05/02/2020 09:32

Always happy to help @QuantumGirl 😘 It did indeed feel like ov pain, but the very first time it happened (on the evening of ET) there was nothing dull about it! It was proper sharp! That's why I thought it must have been something to do with the catheter grazing something (because I certainly wasn't ovulating! 😂). This one is a bit TMI, but I also noticed about 3 days before OTD that the pessary gunk had a yellow tinge to it (😳), which had me certain that AF was about to hit because I always got yellow tinged CM a few days before AF... but I was happy to be wrong about that! 😂

@Chooklass, could you possibly do me a massive favour?! 😬 When you ring up Simpsons later (and try to sound shocked at the BFP! 😂), could you please ask them if we're supposed to book with our GP's midwife or if we're supposed to wait until after the 7 week scan? None of us are sure on the graduates thread because none of our clinics have mentioned it but the NHS websites say to book in with them as soon as you get a BFP 🤷‍♀️ Don't worry if you can't ask though - we're mostly thinking to do the 7 week scan first and then contact the midwife 👍

rainbow178 · 05/02/2020 09:32

@Chooklass congratulations on your BFP! Yay!!

MrsLouB · 05/02/2020 09:34

@Chooklass can i ask how many days past transfer you are ? my clinic just ask for a urine test and dont do bloods which is super annoying to have to wait more i would love to know what the number is in my blood x

Chooklass · 05/02/2020 09:44

@BambiOnIce80 I'll see what they say - good question! x

@MrsLouB I am 11dp3dt, so essentially 14dpo x

MrsLouB · 05/02/2020 09:51

@Chooklass ah lovely thank you that will be me sunday and i wont believe it until then :-) x

Lily999 · 05/02/2020 09:55

@Chooklass you will give so much hope to others getting a day 3 transfer, you will be the "someone we know who had a day3 ET and got a BFP" :) So happy, go Northern Girls!! Hope it's something in the water here haha.

For me Valentines' Day can't come soon enough, I don't think I have ever been so excited about V day :D

@BambiOnIce80 I was also told to use the progesterone until test day then no need for more.

Lily999 · 05/02/2020 09:59

Ah, also I was given a piece of paper to hand over to my GP that says I had ET and my test date is this etc. Did you have that?

BambiOnIce80 · 05/02/2020 10:19

Yeah, I was given that too @Lily999 and just popped that into the GP on one of the days I was off 👍 And yes to stopping the pessaries after a BFP (for a fresh cycle, at least). Not going to lie - I don't miss them! 😂

Thanks so much @Chooklass 😘 I've tagged you on the graduates thread, just so you can find us easily.x

Viletta · 05/02/2020 10:36

My clinic said I should continue progesterone and all other meds till week 10... not enjoying it. I think they just have different guidelines in Czech..

Lily999 · 05/02/2020 11:24

It is interesting @Viletta how different clinics / protocols / countries are when it comes to the same thing :) I always thought we are supposed to keep adding progesterone as the baby takes over the production only at the 10-12th week.

@rainbow178 and @Stace999 ET buddies how are you getting on on 2dp5dt? Were you given OTD's?

BambiOnIce80 · 05/02/2020 11:29

NICE changed the guidance in October 2019 for fresh ETs @Lily999 because the evidence was that it made no difference to outcome (we've got loads of our own progesterone floating about because of EC 😉). FET's (like @Viletta ) have to keep taking it though because they haven't had EC that cycle and their bodies need the extra progesterone. Hope that helps clarify the why's.x

rainbow178 · 05/02/2020 11:31

I was told if successful, I need to continue all progesterone medications as well- thank god the symptoms have worn off a bit!

@Lily999 I'm ok thanks, I have a bit of cramping/ period like symptoms/ browny discharge which is driving me INSANE!!!! OTD is the 14th, I am trying to make plans for each day to keep my mind busy- was actually keen to get back to work today so am not constantly thinking!!!

How are you doing? X

Lily999 · 05/02/2020 11:32

Ah it makes sense, thanks @bambionice80!

Lily999 · 05/02/2020 11:35

Not much to report here @rainbow178, to be honest it does feel like any other 2ww so far. Went to acupuncture yesterday that was good. But until 5-7 days post transfer impantation will not occur meaning although there is an embryo in there, but it is not attached, so I don't expect to feel anything different. Or if I do I just remind myself that it is due to the added progesterone.
So, we'll see what happens after the wekend :)

Did you call the clinic about the spotting? Is it getting less or increasing?

rainbow178 · 05/02/2020 12:08

I didn't call because it has gone less. It's not too bad just weird!

I didn't know that! So embryo is still inside now but not decided if it wants to stay yet!?
