@Chooklass that's how I felt a lot of the time this week as well, so I'd say good sign!

Well I'm 6dp5dt and my FRER test was BFP without a doubt! No squinting needed this time lol My OTD isn't until 4 Feb so does anyone know if I should tell clinic early that I got bfp or do you need to wait until the OTD?

I still plan to test every morning of course as I am a crazy POAS addict 🙈

BambiOnIce80 · 30/01/2020 11:22

I hope tomorrow mornings test gives you some clarity @MissHoney85 ❤️ Please let us know what they say when you ring the clinic back tomorrow.x

Sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish @Chooklass 💐 I woke up in the middle of the night a couple of times with a random dry cough, but no idea if that was anything to do with anything 🤷‍♀️ I also had to have a power nap on Sunday afternoon (very unusual for me to nap in the day! 😴) so maybe there were signs there that I missed 🤔 I hope feeling crap is a good sign for you!x

Tentative congratulations to you @candycornlover! 😍 My clinic only did the blood test at 9dp5dt, but they were pretty clear that they didn't want to hear from us if we tested early! 😕 Something to do with false positives, they said. Keeping everything crossed that you keep seeing lovely strong lines day after day (you POAS addict you! 😄) 💪🤞💪🤞

I'm trying to be sensible/logical, but I'm already feeling quite nervous today because I took my last progesterone pessary last night... All the papers (and NICE guidance) say that there's no difference in outcome between fresh cycles that stop progesterone after their BFP and those that continue to week 8, but I'm still a bit worried 😥 The bloating seems to be subsiding (which is great, don't get me wrong!), but then I'm worried it's a sign that things are about to tits up! 😣 Will the worrying ever stop?!?! 🤯

Chooklass · 30/01/2020 11:34

Ah yes I was wondering if our clinic stopped the progesterone after BFP @BambiOnIce80 ? Something the nurse said made me think that. I guess we have to trust our bodies to know what to do, but that's very difficult after years of infertility and our bodies clearly not knowing what to do! 😂😫

Thanks @candycornlover - I'm scared to get my hopes up at all 😢. So happy to hear of your stronger line though!! 🥳 I have a similar fear of POAS to @BambiOnIce80 ... so doubt I'll test before blood test on Weds, but the itch to test is definitely starting (especially as you are only 2 days ahead of me!)! 🙈

BambiOnIce80 · 30/01/2020 12:41

Yes @Chooklass , the nurse who took my bloods planted the seed of doubt in my brain when she said we'd be advised over the phone if we needed to come back in to get more progesterone. I did some reading and saw about the not needing it in fresh cycles past the BFP, but I still played the daft lassie when I rang them back and they explained the why's and wherefore's 😉 We still have a load of progesterone in our bodies from the empty follicles left behind from EC, but in a FET you obviously don't which is why progesterone is needed until at least 8 weeks 👍

6 more sleeps until OTD for you! 🤩 Stay strong 💪

Wimbledon1 · 30/01/2020 12:43

So do we have any testers today? I feel like not? And then tomorrow who is testing with me, @FlapJackered and @UnicornPuff I think? Anyone else? We are off for a weekend away at lunchtime tomorrow so there’s a very good chance I’ll get my call from the clinic while I’m on a train, what a joy that will be. Although at least DH will be with me....now do I put them on speaker?! 😂

Hope everyone is doing well today xx

Sarab2020 · 30/01/2020 13:15

@candycornlover that's amazing, fingers crossed for the rest of your journey

@Chooklass I'm with you on the bloating, mine went down a few days ago meaning I now feel comfortable in jeans woo! I have started with a dry cough, hoping it's maybe a side effect.

Good luck for tomorrow @Wimbledon1 @UnicornPuff @FlapJackered

I'm feeling really low today, ended up going to the work toilet and crying. No one at work knows so it's really tough to stay positive and smiley. Gave me mum a call during lunch though which helped get everything off my chest

twinkleyes35 · 30/01/2020 13:45

@candycornlover congrats dear just noticed you had you BFP at 4dp5dt and you getting stronger lines since then I am 5dp5dt and very inclined to test. Though don't hve much symptoms apart from getting very very emotional suddenly ( crying literally) . @Sarab2020 I truely understand how it feels I too don't have anyone to talk to and when I tell my DH he seems happy coz he thinks it's defo symptoms 🥺

Just meditate and drink lots of water that surely helps mentally too x

Keeping fingers cross for us and all who are still waiting to get OTD ☺️xx

twinkleyes35 · 30/01/2020 13:46

@candycornlover did had any symptoms which made you eat early ?

twinkleyes35 · 30/01/2020 13:47

Omg this auto type 😜@candycornlover I meant to say did you had any symptoms which made you test sooner ? X

Haych1985 · 30/01/2020 13:51

My test date is Monday, my period is due today normally and no sign.
I did test at 5dp5dt and got bfn not tested since!!

FlapJackered · 30/01/2020 14:31

@candycornlover congratulations! 🎉 that is great you got a bfp so early!

@BambiOnIce80 I thought that the pessaries would continue to at least week 8 too? I am sure the clinic wouldn't tell you to stop if they thought it would make a difference.
Blood test is at 10am, but I will also take a frer tomorrow as DH has to go away for work in the morning. 😬 🤞

@Wimbledon1 @UnicornPuff good luck testing buddies! 3 bfps please! 🤞🤞🤞

Here are some very cute snuggly meerkats and a seal I just saw at the zoo, to cheer everyone up on this grey drizzly day! ❤️

FlapJackered · 30/01/2020 14:33

Also how do people know when AF would be due? Do you count transfer as ovulation?

Chooklass · 30/01/2020 14:38

Ah 😍!! Snuggling meercats! Thanks @FlapJackered!

I think EC day is counted as ovulation? Since that's the day sperm and eggs meet and start growing.

BambiOnIce80 · 30/01/2020 15:27

That's exactly what I thought too @FlapJackered , but NICE published a review study in October 2019 that showed for a fresh transfer there was no difference in pregnancy outcome if you stopped taking progesterone at BFP or continued taking it to 8 weeks, so they've only recently changed the guidance (I do love a good study review! 🤓😂). Absolutely essential to take it up to week 8 if having a FET though 👍

I had a really good cry in the toilets at work on Monday and then got my BFP the following day @Sarab2020, so hopefully it's a really good sign for you! 🤞🍀

UnicornPuff · 30/01/2020 15:35

@Sarab2020 it's a really horrible tough process. Is there someone at work that you can confide it? I felt much better when I didnt feel like I was sneaking around! If you are like me half the problem is the TWW you go from going in and having continuous updates to nothing!

@FlapJackered I just counted from the 1st day of last AF like normal. I dont know if that is right as I am on long protocol so it was a down reg bleed.

Wimbledon1 · 30/01/2020 15:55

Aww, @FlapJackered I also love the meerkats!! Took me a while to work out how many of them are there!

Not feeling very positive about tomorrow, have got quite bad cramping that’s built over the last few days which does not to me sound like an implantation symptom. We’ll see of course but expectations are suitably dialled down now after feeling quite good early in the week. Sorry to hear you’ve been feeling low too @Sarab2020. It really is rollercoaster this isn’t it!! Take care of yourself with some nice chocolate x

Sarab2020 · 30/01/2020 17:00

The meerkats are amazing @FlapJackered they are one of my fav zoo animals!

I'm in a newish job so don't want to rock the boat too much by letting them know about the IVF. Everyone was lovely though they could tell I was down and made the effort to make me laugh which was nice. I feel exhausted now and ready for a nap, time for PJs and hot chocolate

UnicornPuff · 30/01/2020 19:39

🤞@FlapJackered and @Wimbledon1 for tomorrow.

@Wimbledon1 I am not positive either. I started having spotting today. Either way the suspense will be over!

candycornlover · 30/01/2020 19:42

@twinkleyes35 I had some mild achy pains womb area on night of transfer and next day, then. The lower back pain began and hasn't left me since. Been tired on and off, especially by tea time. Boobs started to hurt on 3dp5dt and I thought, hmm this feels pregnancy boobs, I tested next day and line was ridiculously faint but was darker by next day, still very light though. Today was clear as day so I took that one as the official BFP. ☺️

Good luck for tomorrow test @FlapJackered 🤞🏻🙏🏻

twinkleyes35 · 30/01/2020 21:17

Good luck and lots of baby dust to you both @Wimbledon1 and @FlapJackered 🤞🤞🤞☺️

twinkleyes35 · 30/01/2020 21:22

@candycornlover wow that's very minimal symptoms Smilegood on you taking chance to test early xx

TWW wait is killer and mind boggling you do things what you know you shouldn't (google ,google ,google 🤪)

I got random call from my clinic today just to check on me if I am ok and if I need any support which made me feel so good and made me realise I should class myself pregnant 🤰 (PUPO)

It feels like countdown now till OTD x

BambiOnIce80 · 30/01/2020 21:23

Good luck for tomorrow @FlapJackered @UnicornPuff @Wimbledon1! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 🍀 🍀 🍀

Wimbledon1 · 30/01/2020 22:59

@twinkleyes35, that’s so lovely of your clinic! I’ve not heard from mine since ET day. 😂
And @Haych1985, well done on keeping peaking AF away and hope she stays that way!!

Thanks very much for the 🍀 everyone.

Rovera12 · 30/01/2020 23:47

Good luck for tomorrow guys , Praying it’s all goodnews .

FlapJackered · 31/01/2020 05:19

It is ridiculously early and I have slept 4 hours but this just happened!!!
I can't actually believe it!! Feeling very wary that this is just the first step and it does not mean a baby, but it is so good to see those two lines! Thank you all for your good lucks and support ❤️ this group has been a life saver the last 2 weeks.
