Unfortunately I have a very clear BFN.

Fingers crossed @FlapJackered and @Wimbledon1 for today. I hope you get the BFPs that you deserve.

UnicornPuff · 31/01/2020 05:48

@FlapJackered I missed this! Congratulations! I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 months xx

Chooklass · 31/01/2020 06:00

I'm sorry @UnicornPuff 💐. Can you take some time off today? Xx

Chooklass · 31/01/2020 06:00

@FlapJackered - so happy for you! That's a proper clear line! Xx 🥳

FlapJackered · 31/01/2020 06:15

@UnicornPuff I am so so sorry. I was really rooting for a bfp for you. I hope you have some time to look after yourself today and some wine/chocolate on hand. It is such a brutal lottery. 💐 x

FlapJackered · 31/01/2020 06:17

Thanks @Chooklass ❤️ I still can't believe it.

Wimbledon1 · 31/01/2020 07:41

@UnicornPuff, I’m so sad to hear this. 😢 What a brutal process this is. Please take good care of yourself and thinking of you.

@FlapJackered - hurrah!! Congratulations! did have my strong suspicions for you as you seemed to be one of few people that wasn’t cramping or spotting ahead of their test. Perhaps your bump from here should be nicknamed ‘meerkat’ in tribute to your furry good luck charm.

I am queueing for a blood test now and it will be hours until I know which of you I’m joining.

HJF84 · 31/01/2020 07:52

Congratulations @flapjackered That's wonderful news. I hope it all goes smoothly for you 🤞🏼

@unicornpuff I'm so so sorry. Thinking of you today. Look after yourself

Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday. I am enjoying my spa break, although I have been doing very little spaing! It's be nice to sit and read my book. Had a lovely dinner at the spa's Michelin starred restaurant last night, although the dress I packed was too tight with all the bloating (although my boobs looked amazing!) and I had to get up to use the loo three times, mainly for my progesterone related gas issues - romantic! 😂

MissHoney85 · 31/01/2020 08:32

@FlapJackered amazing news 🎉🎉🎉

@UnicornPuff sorry to hear it was unsuccessful for you this time, sounds like we had parallel cycles! Fingers crossed both of us have better luck next time. 🤞🤞🤞

BambiOnIce80 · 31/01/2020 08:35

I feel you @HJF84! 😂 I had exactly the same issue when we went out for dinner on Saturday (albeit not to a Michelin star restaurant, you lucky bunny! 🌟).

I'm so very, very sorry to hear your news @UnicornPuff 💙 Please be very, very kind to yourself today.x

Have you got something planned today to keep yourself busy whilst you're waiting for your result @Wimbledon1?x

Massive congratulations @FlapJackered! 😍 Who would've thought a couple of years ago when we both started out on a 'TTC 1st baby' thread that we'd end up with our BFP's in the same week?! 🤯 Have you stopped smiling yet?! 😁

Sarab2020 · 31/01/2020 08:45

Congratulations @FlapJackered

So sorry @UnicornPuff take care of yourself ❤️

Fingers crossed for you @Wimbledon1

QuantumGirl · 31/01/2020 08:51

Hi Ladies, can I join? I had my DE FET on Wednesday and I'm officially on my 2WW trying (and failing) not to think too much about it. Congratulations to all BFPs and sorry to hear about the BFN, this is heartbreaking.

@BambiOnIce80 so so happy for you girl. You've been a real fighter throughout the TTC 'journey'. 🏆

After a failed IVF with my OE I decided to use frozen DE with the London women's clinic. Out of the 6 eggs, 5 embryos only 1 made it and I'm waiting for the clinic to call and update me on the status of the other embryos but as per yesterday it didn't look good so if this one doesn't work there is no plan B. But I'll keep thinking positive 🤞☺️

Rovera12 · 31/01/2020 09:32

Congratulations @FlapJackered am so happy for you.

@UnicornPuff please be kind to yourself am so sorry for the news.

@BambiOnIce80 how are u doing ?

@Feline123 @41trying how are you guys doing, what are the next step for you guys if you don’t mind me asking?

Hi ladies I don’t know if it’s right to ask this question on here but for people who has had previous cycles that failed, how long before they started trying again and what did you do to make a difference?

BambiOnIce80 · 31/01/2020 10:01

OMG @Quantumgirl I'm soooo happy to 'see' you!! 🤩🥰 Sounds like you've been on quite a journey since we last spoke - we have some catching up to do!😍 It only takes one, so sending you tonnes of positivity that your little embie goes from strength to strength 💪 💓💪💓

Other than some annoying bloating, I'm doing really well thank you @Rovera12 😊 Have you managed to get a follow up appointment with your clinic to see what the plan of action is going forward?x

HJF84 · 31/01/2020 10:06

@rovera12 Between each cycle I had a month/cycle off and then started trying again. I was using mild IVF and my clinic was happy for me to do this. A friend of mine who was NHS had to wait until there was a slot available for her, and another friend was told by a private clinic to let her body rest for a few months.

Rovera12 · 31/01/2020 10:31

@HJF84 my bad just read through again Happy birthday and congratulations. I am not concentrating at all I am all over the place. My clinic said 1 or 2 cycles after withdrawal bleed. Did you get reviewed after the failed cycle or just went straight back ?
If you don’t mind me asking where you Nhs funded or private?
I don’t think much can be done about Sperm as we have some vials stored.

@BambiOnIce80 good to hear, yes they called back asked if I want a one to one review it could take months to see a doctor or the doctor could review my notes and make changes come in to sign consent forms and start again.

Sometimes I wonder if it’s a crime getting funded by Nhs as the level of care/communication is really really poor.
How can I wait just for a review appointment for so long before been put again to start another cycle. I feel I would go nuts not knowing what and what could have been the problem.

Am so sorry ladies for ranting.

HJF84 · 31/01/2020 10:53

@rovera12 I am private. Where I live, we don't get any rounds on the NHS. I had a review appointment around two weeks after my failed cycles. And then started again a couple of weeks later. I should say that I had three cycles in a row to collect eggs, and then had a fresh cycle, then I had an FET from a previous cycle and and now I'm using my last Frostie. So rather than doing collection, transfer, collection, transfer - I've done collection, collection, collection, transfer, transfer, transfer, if that makes sense?

Rovera12 · 31/01/2020 11:25

@HJF84 thanks makes sense . Enjoy a healthy 9 months hun.

HJF84 · 31/01/2020 11:58

@rovera12 Thanks - i haven't had my BFP yet though. My OTD is Monday. So keeping my fingers crossed for third time lucky 🤞🏼

Viletta · 31/01/2020 12:19

@FlapJackered amazing news!! Congratulations! You deserve to celebrate this!

@UnicornPuff so sorry about your bfn.. do you have plans for the next cycle? Take care of yourself

Feline123 · 31/01/2020 12:22

Congrats @FlapJackered 🎉

So sorry @UnicornPuff I hope you’ve got lots of support round you x x

@Rovera12 I’m feeling better but still having my sad moments! Struggling to get motivated at work at the mo and my mind is constantly thinking about all this! How are you doing? I’ve got a follow up appointment end of feb. I asked how long it would be until I actually start again and she said it depends on my body basically! There are no waiting lists though so I’m hoping it will be sooner rather than later. It’s hard feeling like you’re putting your life on hold waiting for the next step. I have so many questions too and it’s frustrating that I have to wait a month to ask them! x x

Wimbledon1 · 31/01/2020 13:33

Well @BambiOnIce80, I had my annual review today!! So nice relaxing morning to pass the time.

But I then came out of it to a voicemail from the clinic, called them back and it seems I’ve gone really quite fat on a BFP with a blood level of 200 mlu. I really can’t believe it and don’t really feel I deserve it. This was my first round and I was able to get it on the NHS.

I’m so sorry for the many others here who had to fight so hard and it hasn’t worked out yet. I really hope it does for everyone, you all deserve it 💖

twinkleyes35 · 31/01/2020 13:44

Congratulations 🥳 so happy to hear BFP @Wimbledon1@FlapJackered 💕💕... everytime I scroll down to find out the outcome my heartbeat does go fast as if it's my result x don't knw what I will do on Tuesday (OTD) 🤪

@Wimbledon1 don't feel guilty for getting it first time you still had to go through a lot to get to this stage . 🤰hope you have wonderful & beautiful 9 months 🤰

@UnicornPuff Sorry to hear your news .... don't loose hope 🤞🤞🤗

FlapJackered · 31/01/2020 14:25

@Wimbledon1 congratulations!!! 😍😍😍 I am so so happy for you. I was keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@BambiOnIce80 that is so strange but amazing! ❤️ It has taken us long enough! 😂 how are you feeling? Have any more symptoms shown up yet? My boobs are definitely a bit sore and been feeling a little bit queasy now and then but no different really than before AF.

Thank you everyone for your lovely messages. ❤️ I am still waiting for the blood test results, there is still a bit of me that is waiting for them to come back and say sorry it's not viable. I have a feeling it is going to take a scan to make me start to relax about it all!

Lucinda4321 · 31/01/2020 15:25

Have been following silently in the background as I've been here too many times before having had 4 transfers resulting in 2 miscarriages and 2 negatives over the past 18 months. I think I follow mainly for other peoples successes as they give me hope but today I have a question.
I'm on my 5th frozen transfer day 9p5dt and have done 3 tests over the past 24 hours -
Tesco - positive
FRER - negative
Clearblue digital - Pregnant
Would it be reasonable to remain cautiously optimistic until my OTD next Wednesday? Many thanks in advance
