@FlapJackered I think 3 is a really good number, hopefully you might be able to freeze some as well!

@BaileyBadger4 I've always found my Acupunture really relaxing and it's also nice to actually talk to someone about everything! I always listen to her advice but I agree, most clinics say OH should abstain for a few days before EC so I would go with this.

Fingers crossed for all transfers this weekend, hope the embies get nice and comfy 👍

@FlapJackered hmm I don’t think so, let us see how it goes. I tried testing the trigger shot this morning with asda cheapies to see if it’s still in my system it was negative . I will try not test until 7days. My period(TMI) is meant to be in 6 days, hopefully it will never come I pray.😁

@flapJackered I know how you feel. I had only 4.. It so hard to not think about it constantly. I have tried to tell myself I have done all I can it's out of my hands now. My fingers are crossed for you. I had an update today 4 are where they need to be but the hard part is developing from day 3 to 5 I won't know until I get there. They will call me on Monday morning if there is an issue

Today is day 4 of stims and they are going ok! I am on 150 fotismon. Not really having any side effects apart from being very tired! @Lily999 I think we are on a very similar timescale.

I'd listen to the clinic @BaileyBadger4 👍 I think that when my DP had his one dodgy SA result before we got to stims it was because he was on day 7 of abstaining (we'd been really busy that week and were knackered! 😳). At the risk of TMI, he'd abstained for 5 days before his EC sample and had 'produced' once a week before that and his results were spot on this time 👌

Excellent news on your embies progress @Kellyprt1 , but I hear you on the worry about the massive changes between days 3 & 5 - that's by far the thing that's worrying me the most at the moment 😔 My clinic said they'd ring me tomorrow morning too if the ET is off... I think it'd crush me completely if we got there expecting ET but were given bad news instead. Are you managing to keep busy to keep your mind off of it?x

@HJF84 I will be joining you for TWW then. My frozen embryos are being taken out on Monday, they were day 2 when frozen so embryologist hopes to get them to Friday for day 5 but otherwise I'm going on Wednesday 22nd or Friday 24 for FET.
Started progesterone pessaries this morning, in preparation. I'm having six taken out of my 11 in storage. Wishing you lots of luck for next week x

@candycornlover I didn’t realise you start the pessaries before the transfer! I suppose I’ve not read that far yet in my FET even though hoping it’s only couple of weeks! Fingers crossed for your embryos then, do you mind me asking how many you are planning to transfer ideally & what happens to the rest of you are thawing 6? Are you thawing all at the same time?

Hi Girls! I did my second injection with Gonal f and it had 300iu so today it should be empty as I'm on 150per day, but the pen doesn't seem to be completely empty. Do you think it's normal? I definitely set it up correctly...

Help! I’m just need to do my trigger injection (ovitrelle) at 9:30 the clinic have gone over and over how to use the pen however I’ve just opened the box and it’s a syringe so not what I was expecting at all. Have any of you ladies that’s have already done fever shots had the same? Xx

Yes, my Ovitrelle shot was a pre-filled syringe with needle attached, not a pen like Gonal-F. We had to squeeze a little bit of air out the top but otherwise just inject it into your tummy like your other stimms - it shouldn’t be tricky at all.

Trigger shot ovitrelle done at 8 pm EC on Monday . Any guidance if there are any side effects just going in panic mode as if I am looking for something (side effects but don't knw what ?) trying to keep calm x

There's always a tiny bit left in the gonal-f pen @Lily999 when it's finished, which I think is to stop air getting into your shot. If you look at the 'glass' bit of the pen it has the units marked out in black - the plunger (gray bit) should be at the zero mark 👍

I didn't really get any side effects from the ovitrelle until about 24 hours later @twinkleyes35 and that was only really a feeling of bloating and wanting the eggs out of there because I was soooooo over it! Congrats on getting the trigger done 🙂

Thanks ladies I just done the shot and and all was fine just was shocked to see something different that's all so thanks for reassuring me 😊

Can't believe that was the last injection and EC is around the corner feeling positive but nervous

@candycornlover I start the pessaries tomorrow! Not looking forward to that again! I'm also on lubion (injection) and a steroid tablet, both of which start tomorrow too. Good luck for your ET! Let me know how you get on 🤞🏼

@BambiOnIce80 keeping my fingers crossed for a successful transfer for you today, you still had 7embies growing at the last update so I really trust you'll be fine for transfer today.

@huffleclaw that's so good to hear I'm not the only one running behind, we'll power through the stimms phase and try to keep the 2WW ladies company, maybe provide some distraction :)
Day 3 of stimms today, I feel nothing at all, obviously thinking my dose is too low and nothing is happening in there.. first scan is Wednesday morning so until then I have no idea where I stand.

@HJF84 I saw a video that showed how getting progesterone injections on the top of the pessaries can make a massive difference after failed cycles it increases the chances so your clinic seem well informed :)

@Lily999 @huffleclaw I am on day 6 of stims today so also same point as you guys! When do you have a scan? Mines Wednesday

@lily999 That's encouraging to hear. I had spotting during my first cycle, but not my second, which is why they've increased the dose. Keeping my 🤞🏼 that's the issue.

I'm getting unusually panicky about little things, I don't recognise myself these days, third cycle has really made me a bit of a wreck despite trying my very best to relax.

@Dia12 I know exactly what you mean, I've been getting like that. Stressed and obsessing over small things- I think it's because I can't control this massive thing that we're going through so I try and control everything else and when I can't- stress head!!

Yeh you're absolutely right, it's the overwhelming isn't it. Hope you can be strong too
It probably doesn't help that I've travelled abroad for my treatment and came earlier to have my monitoring scans here too without DH. He's due to arrive on Tuesday. I've not told anyone else what's going on as the last two failed cycles we're just heartbreaking and as much as those who knew were well intentioned, it was just too much talking/explaining it.

I'm just feeling sorry for myself. I guess it doesn't help being pumped with hormones.

@Dia12 yes I have been trying to take it easy as this one embie is my only one and I will say to myself it takes only one. I am trying so hard, I feel like I am going into depression for no known reason. My heart just beats so fast and it's only 1dp5dt. So help me God.
