Hi all

There was already a thread for people cycling in October that i wanted to join but canny find it anywhere.

Im about to do my 6th (jeez) cycle of ICSI.
I already have a 4 year old DS from cycle number 4 and we decided we would try for a sibling.

Im currently just about to ovulate (getting the flashy smiley face on OPK) then i will start stimming on my next period at the start of October.

I had an awful cycle last November (my 5th) where i only got 2 mature eggs and non fertilised. This was because the wrong dose of drugs were given at the start of stimming.
So, with this slightly in the back of my mind, im still optimistic for a better cycle this time Smile

@fool11 tel me about it! I was questioning myself if I would be OK with fake tan the other day 🤣 I'm so pasty! And I'm at a 40th this weekend so I want to look OK not bloated and spotty! I still don't know what to wear... All the women are wearing dresses, I'll probably be in jeans and a top drinking juice! It will one day be worth it though. Only 6 more days to go till test day.

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 09:41

I would have been due on my period today aswel.

fool11 · 14/11/2019 10:27

Do you still get ovary twitches..i still get them, both left and right, not at the same time but still there, and still very bloated too...
are bloatedness and spots caused by cyclogest?

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 11:10

@fool11 yes I still get twitches not as much though. I was bloated upon today. Stomach back to normal now, which I'm abit concerned about as I toke it as a symptom. It can be caused by the cyclogest, but I think mine might have been v. Mild OHSS as I had 25 eggs altogether but the only managed to get 17 out. I'm worried now my body is going back to normal. I read if your pregnant your OHSS will increase abit. I think my spots are due to the time of month as I always get a few around this time.

fool11 · 14/11/2019 12:14

one more questions for you ladies..i think i just got conjunctivitis, my daughter had it last week, eye hurting and gunk in eye..can i take antibiotics drops? i really didn't need this now..

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 12:50

I would ring the clinic just to be on the safe side, I'm guessing yes, but you need to be sure.

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 13:31

Hello everyone
I'm new here and looking for a fertility center because we need to pay by ourselves
I'm 41 and NHS doesn't accept to help.
I've done AMH test in BCRM in Bristol
That was low
Does anyone know about this center and recommend it?
Thanks

LucyLucyT · 14/11/2019 13:32

@Violet180 ahh scan buddy, hopefully we both get that little heart flicker!

@Bailey2017 I had exactly the same, developed OHSS about 6 days after transfer, really swollen abdomen, v uncomfortable, realised it's hopefully sign of pregnancy. Then it started to improve after the middle of last week so I guess we just had it mild. That's why I was panicking when I did my second test at the weekend as convinced that my hormones were normalising because of a chemical pregnancy or something, but got a strong positive!

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 13:39

Oh @LucyLucyT I hope it is! I hope I'm the same!

Welcome @Nas2019 sorry I'm not near there, I'm near Manchester. I'm sure you will find somewhere local to you if your funding it yourselves.

The NHS are only offering one IVF per couple now all around the UK.

LucyLucyT · 14/11/2019 13:55

Hi @Nas2019 I'm afraid I'm in the South East so I can't help, but good luck on your journey. Have you looked on the HFEA website?

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 13:57

Thanks. I am also thinking to go abroad because of the costs but I'm not sure what's the best.
Is there any one in this age with low AMH got pregnant with IVF?

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 13:59

Hi, no I haven't checked it. Not all fertility centers are good for my age.
I'm actually so much stressed what will happen next...

fool11 · 14/11/2019 14:23

Welcome @Nas2019...unfortunately don't know any clinics in your area, we are also based in South East. My age is a problem.. my AMH was ok (for my age) so i'm afraid can't help with that either, sorry. Maybe start another thread - IVF clinic near Bristol? Wish you all the best.

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 14:29

Thanks so much
I wish all of you the best also Smile

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 14:35

@Nas2019 what is your AMH levels if you don't mind me asking?

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 15:00

It's 4.2 Pmol/L

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 15:44

That's not to bad at all isn't it?

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 16:02

I don't know
One doctor told me it's so low

Mseddy · 14/11/2019 17:31

@violet180 so glad your hcg has doubled. Fingers crossed for you scan.

@nas2109 I hope you find the answers your need. I'm not near Birmingham I'm afraid so I can't help.

I've been getting a few twinges today. Feels like what I usual feel when I ovulate. Really hoping it means something!!! This process makes you read into every tiny little thing! I sneezed a few times and wondered wether that was a sign! Then I realised how irrational I was being!!

LucyLucyT · 14/11/2019 18:20

@Mseddy, we all read into everything I think, it's hard not to. Fingers crossed your twinges are a nestling embryo though 🤞

Mseddy · 14/11/2019 20:15

@LucyLucyT I really hope so!

I've got some fab new progesterone side effects today. Hot flushes and dizziness! I'm usually always freezing!!!

Bailey2017 · 14/11/2019 21:43

@Mseddy oooh that sounds promising Smile temperature rising is a good sign 🤞

Nas2019 · 14/11/2019 22:04

Thanks I hope for your to have good news. I hope all the signs are bringing good news for you.

Mseddy · 15/11/2019 11:27

@Nas2019 thanks.

@LucyLucyT hope so! Although progesterone can do that to your temps as well I guess.

@violet180 did you have another blood test today? I've been thinking of you.

I've just caved and bought some FRER's to come tomorrow. Still planning to hold out until Wednesday, but I feel like id rather do it on Sunday when neither of us have to go to work straight after. Sunday would be 6pd5dt so could show up on a FRER I guess. The waiting is so hard!!

Nas2019 · 15/11/2019 11:38

Yesterday I went to BCRM Bristol and I think I will start with them, however they told me the chance for me is just 20%
But I can just pray ...
Blood tests first should be done on next Wednesday next I assume should be the first altrasound
