Hi all

There was already a thread for people cycling in October that i wanted to join but canny find it anywhere.

Im about to do my 6th (jeez) cycle of ICSI.
I already have a 4 year old DS from cycle number 4 and we decided we would try for a sibling.

Im currently just about to ovulate (getting the flashy smiley face on OPK) then i will start stimming on my next period at the start of October.

I had an awful cycle last November (my 5th) where i only got 2 mature eggs and non fertilised. This was because the wrong dose of drugs were given at the start of stimming.
So, with this slightly in the back of my mind, im still optimistic for a better cycle this time Smile

Hi@fool1, LucyLucyT &@Mseddy. Glad you are all doing well. Congratulations @Mseddy. LO is 14 weeks already, where does the time go?

Wow..eating a curry! That’s amazing. He is so different to my daughter , we used to call her a piranha 😀..she would eat anything. May I ask what finger food did you start with? And what pasta shapes does she eat? He loves fruit but puréed, also lives sweet potato with leeks, peas and spinach but again puréed..would like to move away from purées...
He is not crawling at all and has no intention to do so, just wants to stand and walk. He actually started to walk in his walker. He flips himself on his belly but gives up and then just have to pick hiM up as he gets exhausted..his teeth still not out, you can see the whites under gums..haven’t slept properly for ages. He normally wakes up around midnight, wants his milk and then around 4-5am..wants to eat again. Are you still BF?
Great you can go back part time..my bosses won’t let me unfortunately so will have to go back full time. I Should be back sometime mid July but I have quite a few days of hols so hoping I can stay at home till Sept, and also my daughter will be off school and have nobody to look after her.
He is still with us and unfortunately will be for a long time as we don’t have a room for him..just started to talk to architect about the loft conversion but the estimates we got were just crazy..don’t think it will happen soon.

@fool11 @41trying how are your bubba's doing now, it's been a long time!
@Mseddy how is everything for you?

My little lady is doing well, she took her first steps last week on her 11 month "birthday". Although has been reluctant to walk much more since then! Can't believe she is going to be 1 in a few weeks! I'm currently getting anxious about going back to work, meaning she will be going to nursery for 3 full days from the week after next. We don't have family locally so that's it has to be childcare. She went for her first settling in session today and she seemed to be happy there, really hope it's okay 😱

Hope you are all well and happy xx

Hi LucyLucyT, lovlet to hear from you. How time has gone so quickly. Jaiden is 7 months, I have no idea how we got here so quickly. I'm glad you are doing well.
I'm not looking forward to returning to work either. I have a little longer before I have to think about it.
@fool11 & @Mseddy how are you both?

Aww lovely to hear from this thread! I can't belive how big your babies are! Where has the time gone. Super cute!
I'm good thanks, 29 weeks and all is going well so far! She's measuring well and time seems to be flying!

Lovely to hear from you ladies! Glad to hear you are all well. We are doing well, it’s been a strange year, not the maternity I imagined.. little one is keeping us on our toes, he won’t sit still for two seconds, wants to stand all the time and thinks he can stand on his own (and he can’t), but it’s all great fun. He still doesn’t sleep thought the night, still doing 30min sleeps and then wakes up. He is so different to my daughter, they are so great together, I’m enjoying last few weeks of freedom as my maternity will be finishing next month, not looking forward to it , although my office is still working from home but will be going back in the office from august..absolutely dreading commuting to London.
Your little one will fine in the nursery @LucyLucyT , I was very nervous when my daughter was starting, but she loved it and she was there from 7.30 till 5.30/6pm so she was doing long days. She loved it there. As she got older she kept asking is we can come to get her even later 😀.

Gosh, not long now @Mseddy..so pleased for yiu, glad to hear all is going well.

fool11 · 24/06/2021 20:27

Sorry, pressed wrong button..

Oh lovely picture @41trying..can’t believe he is sitting on his own already as he is much younger, isn’t he?

41trying · 24/06/2021 21:10

@Mseddy, not long to go now then, look forward to hearing all about it.
@Fool11, he is 7 months, been sitting by himself a good few week.

LucyLucyT · 24/06/2021 22:13

So pleased to hear things are going well @MSeddy! These last week's flew by for me.

@41trying Jaiden is a cutie! Glad he's thriving :-) how is he getting on with weaning?

@fool11 they definitely keep us busy at this age! Erin is fairly good with standing now but still likes to take a tumble every now and again! Just been planning her first bday, just gonna have family in the garden and hiring some soft play equipment. Dynamics are interesting between our families so I'm slightly stressed about how it will play out!

Thanks for the reassurance about the nursery, she will be doing those sorts of hours as well. I'm lucky I only have a short drive to work, I don't think I'd enjoy much of a commute.

Attached a picture of her last week having fun in the sand area at a playground in a nearby town :-)

41trying · 26/06/2021 22:02

@LucyLucyT Jaiden is doing well with weaning. Fine with being spoon fed, but only just getting to grips with some finger foods without gagging/choking.
