@willithappen welcome! Sorry you're here, but glad to have you if you know what I mean. Have you discussed the results with anyone yet or will that be with the fertility consultant?
@squirrelnutkins1 so pleased to hear from you, not at all impressed that the knob at work is back on bitch mode 🤬 that is the absolute last thing you need, and it is just not right to rather be horribly I'll than have to deal with someone!! Can you escalate the problem to someone? Or better yet, any way of avoiding her completely?!
To everyone just lurking for a bit quietly, it's all fine to take time, it's a long old rollercoaster, just let us know from time to time that you are still fighting the good fight 🙂 (@finallytakingtheplungewithivf!)
Bit of that rollercoaster for us too. So after the meds came Friday (Woohoo!) and I went pale over how much there was, we were all good to start Thursday. DH had last test yesterday of DNA fragmentation so they get as much info before the big day, gets a call before he even gets home and they are seriously concerned because the count has gone down for the 5th time in a row, now has less than a million!!
Thank God this embryologist is on the ball, he has got us in on Thursday to do consent forms and to freeze a sample, because the way things are going DH might not have any left 😢
He has also contacted our GP in a different county to get a referral to the hospital in Cambridge, booked us an appointment with a consultant on Friday, and by then will hopefully also be able to get some investigation done into why this is happening.... I can't ask for more from the clinic, but I'm really worried about what the cause might be. Blockage? Hormonal? Cancer? Glad no-one has told me to relax recently or I'd bloody deck them 🙁
