@VenusStarr sorry theres so much waiting for you like you said the get healthy plan is a gd distraction but fx u get a cancellation before dec @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF im alrite bit dissapointed got a scan today(again) follicles have grown a bit more but not as much as they want, they said when they got the results of my bloods they might fone and tell me to take my booster today. But when they foned they said dnt and ive to come in for another scan 2morro morning uuuggh. Fx i get gd news and the booster 2morro so i can get my egg retrieval thurs i just want it all over now..@BambiOnIce80 scan again 2morro thanks for asking x sick of these bloody scans im beginning to feel like ive got a urine infection coming on!

I’m alright. Have some odd pains today and last night and I’m 6days post transfer. Like tugging/poking pains but other than that nothing apart from being bloated and bigger boobs. If I’m being honest feeling abit down and out which is not the attitude to be having!!

I know @2fingers22018 feels like I've spent the last 2 years just waiting 😣 but feel better after my swim. Just need to keep going ☺️
Sorry you're having so many scans! I hope tomorrow's scan brings good news for you and your follicles behave 🤞😊

@GreyC tugging pains sound promising. When's your test day? I think feeling uncertain is normal, but you're definitely still in :)

@GreyC its def a rollercoaster tryin to juggle not gettin ur hopes up but remainin positive keep pushin forward i know its hardhugs the pulling feeling sounds gd tho x @VenusStarr i know how that feels its taken us over 4yrs to get this far and it still feels like we re just at the start your strong you ll get there💪

Exactly I feel uncertain. A week today I test. I see all the other BFP and want it to be me so bad.
The pains could just be anything - it’s so silly how i can make something unimportant

@Venusstarr I'm glad the swimming is making you feel good, I hope it helps you feel stronger in lots of ways ❤ don't lose your pants! Hopefully the op might get shuffled forward, if not I think it's great to think what you can do in the mean time, especially if you get the chance to eat like mad and still lose weight doing something you enjoy. The waiting is the worst, hang in there xxx

@2fingers22018 everything crossed for the scan and hopefully the booster tomorrow, it must be pants when just want this bit over and done with. Are you due to have fresh or frozen? Found out today my clinic is all about the fet (bout the fet, no treble)

@bambionice80 don't get too nervous about your meeting, you have options at the end of the day, you can go elsewhere so dont let yourself get too manic (your words, i think you are doing normal human worrying!!) they may totally see your point and support you in it so don't fear! Hope it goes really well and they answer all your Qs ✅😊

Thanks for asking, appointment today went pretty great! Was surprised as I was certain the nurse would stop us short at trying to push through this month, but it turns out timing wise if we wait until next month we might fall on the 2 days they deep clean the lab so she was all for starting next Thurs! 😱 Talked me all through timeline and the meds and everything, very helpful BUT still can't order the meds until the blood tests come back 🤯😰 need them before this Thursday! so have made a real nuisance of ourselves, and gp surgery said there are results waiting on the system but have to be written up before they can see/print them... I'm equal parts super stressed, excited and terrified. Glad I may not have long to stress before I start the stabbing 💉🤮😳 need good vibes please for those bloody blood results (ha bloody blood)

😂🤣😂🤣 I literally just snorted chai tea latte reading that one!! Brilliant!! 😂🤣😂🤣 I've read that the outcomes with FET are much better too, which is why I'm so keen to get as many eggs fertilised as possible for the freezer ❄ 🥚❄️🥚I'd keep the pressure on your GP for your results. Not sure which bloods you've had done, but unless they're something really obscure they'll definitely be available 👍 It'll be that your surgery has some tick box exercise that the GP who requested them has to see them and sign them off before they can give them to you. Pain in the arse, basically! Very exciting that you'll be starting next Thursday! 🤩 And no idea what the deleted message was 🤔 Probably someone trying to sell snake oil 🐍 🛢️🙄

Went out for dinner with friends last night - the 2 I told about the IVF a few weeks ago and 3 that have no clue (and I'm happy to keep it that way!). The 2 who know are keen for an update though, so we're going to have dinner next week.I wonder what I'll be telling them this time next week? 🤔 ICSI with the NHS or a clinic change... 🔮 🤯🔮🤯

They said my retrieval will b thurs regardless but i ll need to wait a few months for a FET! never simple is it?😒

Chin up chuck @2fingers22018 💖 Just remember that FET's have a statistically better outcome/higher pregnancy rate than fresh cycles - doesn't stop this curve ball being disappointing, I know 😔 And your spelling of oestrogen is perfect, by the way 😉

@CloudSway glad your appointment went well! Fingers crossed for those blood test results! Gps are such hard work at time! It is worrying my anxiety is at an all time high my chest is hurting! Still feeling bloated and boobs are sore on the side and I realised it must be my bra which is normally fine so maybe they’ve grown! I’m assuming all this is the progesterone apart from that I feel like me!

@2fingers22018 oh I realise now you mean your trigger shot! When you said booster I thought it was just something extra to make them grow! Well it’s a good job they keeping an eye on it that’s exactly the reason I had a freeze all and then a fet don’t be disheartened I know it’s a bit longer to wait!!

The deleted message was spam I reported it can’t rem what it was but something about paying for something lol!

In other news I didn’t test this morning at 6dp5dt last cycle this is when I got my 1st positive think we are going to test tomorrow only 3 days till test day but need to start preparing myself for either outcome I guess! Still don’t feel confident on that it’s worked as apart from the bloating and sore boob from g bra issue I just feel like me!

So we call the GP surgery - good as gold, they tell us all is well, they will email the results at lunch when it's quiet. No problem.

Receive the results at half 12, send them off. Then DH calls. "I don't want to be panicky, but Rubella isn't on my test results". It was a long list of HIV/sir face Hep B, core, etc etc, i hadn't even noticed! Then I realise my results don't show it either! 🤯😱😤 Obviously I don't have bloody rubella, but you have to prove it for some stupid reason.

Called back and she read out a note that said the NHS no longer do rubella screening if you've had your mmr, because you are immune to it, which is fine except neither our gp, the nurse who took the blood or the receptionist knew that......

Had to literally beg the clinic to let me come in to get the test (for the disease everyone knows I'm immune to) they pulled some strings and asked if i could get there before 5. No problem, says I, literally running through the office as I speak. Hang up and shout through my bosses door as i run "Ihavetogocallfromthecarsorry!". It was 4:10pm, and my clinic is just over an hour away... 🚘🛣🚄🚤✈🚀⛷

Made it with 2 mins to spare, thank God the roads were pretty clear 😓 so I've had the jab, doesn't guarantee the results will be in but in reality it takes 2 hours so if they don't get them in time it is bullshit and also I obviously don't bloody have rubella

I'm currently laughing, but was crying earlier and if we miss the cycle and have to wait til Christmas I'll be crying again...

Oh god @CloudSway that sounds so stressful! Glad your dh noticed! He's on the ball, mine definitely would not have noticed that! I really hope they get the results in time 🤞 keeping my fingers crossed for you.

@cloudsway possibly but going on last time I had a bfp at 6dp5dt so I’m not holding out much hope! I think all symptoms can be caused by the progesterone! I’m ok at the mo but DH has taken it badly we still got till Friday so who knows but am expecting a bfn! Will take some time out I reckon till new year give my body a break as it’s battered and so is my brain x

@finallytakingtheplungewithivf Of course, i cant imagine how knackered you must be from it all, especially after last time. You are right to let yourself recover a bit I think xx It makes sense to be prepared for Friday, but I hope it comes back your way even if the chances are lower. I'm sorry for your DH and I know it's upsetting when they are upset too x

Had a cry with dh this morning 😢 about everything and nothing in particular.

I'm so sorry that it was a BFN @FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF, but I'm still hoping that it's too early for a strip test and that the beta hCG will give better news ❤️ Was the last cycle your fresh cycle? If so, could that strip test have been picking up the trigger shot? Not wanting to give you false hope, but really am keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I might save my money then @VenusStarr - I can watch my own sanity unravelling with all this going on for free!! 🤯🤪😉 Had a mini melt down on the train this morning that I'd gotten the nurse appointment wrong and it might be today and not tomorrow... no particular reason for this - I'm very organised and can't remember ever 🤬ing up an appointment date, ever, but I was bloody convinced this morning! 🤪 Luckily DP was still at home and sent me a pic of the appointment letter - which is tomorrow, obvs 🙄 I'm sadly not joking when I say this process is going to unravel my sanity!

Bloody hell @CloudSway, stressful much?! 🤯 Thank god your DP spotted it! 😪 I bet if your GP had put 'pre-IVF screening' in the clinical details then the lab would have tested it - but at least you got it sorted 👍 If you're worried about not getting the result in time, maybe ask your GP to ring the lab and ask for the rubella to be added on to your previous sample for the reason above 👆 Might help, might not.x

Thank you @BambiOnIce80, I'm so grateful to have everyone's support here ❤️ it's hard because we're both grieving in our own ways but we really aren't getting any support from friends of family. I'm quite angry and frustrated with the lack of compassion and understanding. I'm so glad we have each other to lean on but it's tough.

I'm glad your dp reassured you this morning. I get really paranoid about missing appointments or going on the wrong day. Maybe the film wasn't the best choice for me either!

It is bloody tough @VenusStarr 😔 At least we have each other too ❤️ I am way more relaxed now, thank you 😊 I've also just found out and started reading about 'split' IVF/ICSI cycles - apparently it's a thing 😯 So, if we get enough eggs we could do half standard IVF and half ICSI... that would appease my inner crazy and not put all our proverbial eggs in one basket 🥚😊 Think that's what I'll be asking for tomorrow 👍
