Oh that’s not good at all. It’s such a unknown and stressful period and they obviously aren’t helping.
Have you tried phoning them back?

@GreyC after leaving 2answering machine messages they have eventually foned me bak with an appt for 2morro woohoo! im happy ive got my appt but that seemed like such an unnecessary stress thank god i had the day off work x thanks for listening to me rant like a lunatic hun💜

Don’t worry; we have all been there. I’m worrying about how many eggs fertilise now. They are calling me tomorrow to let me know!

@Anaesthetist83 sorry you've been unwell. Was that all to do with ec? That's the last thing I remember sorry xx

@squirrelnutkins1 don’t worry, I’m hopeless at remembering where everyone is up to. I had severe OHSS which landed me in HDU for a week 😢.

@Anaesthetist83 oh my goodness you poor thing!! How are you feeling now? What are the next steps for you? Xx

We will start a FET next cycle 🤞. Feeling much better, though it’s taken a good month

2 have fertilised and look great 😊 so pleased as only started with 4!! Keep your fingers crossed they grow well over the weekend please!! Transfer Tuesday!

@squirrelnutkins1 how are you?

It was so nice not having to do an injection last night! But had to start the dreaded pessaries this morning (oh how I’ve missed them! Not!!) but am super excited today about transfer next week! Have an acupuncture session today aswell hopefully o can relax on to it a bit more today!

@finallytakjngtheplunge I start mine tomorrow; 12 hours apart and have to lie down for half an hour afterwards.

I’m nervous about waiting the weekend but it’s a good sign 2 were strong enough to fertilise :)
It’s nerve inducing isn’t it - the waiting!

@greyc I’m on 3 a day this time as I had spotting all time from about 2 days after et so they’ve agreed to up it to see how I get on! I’m doing back door though no laying down required and no mess!

Will they give you another update in day 3?

I think she said she would call Monday; but I could be wrong I didn’t take everything in as I was shocked about 2 fertilising haha. Long may this great feeling continue.

I might message them and ask if I can do that as I’ve heard it’s much easier!

@GreyC glad your feeling positive and you ve got 2that fertilised thats great news! @squirrelnutkins1 and @FinallytakkngtheplungewithIVF i got my scan soo embaressing at least it was quick and gd news i FINALLY got my injections to take it was all very rushed tho not 100% comfortable doing them myself i thought they wouldve done the 1st one for me so i could see exactly how it goes in RL

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF Meriofert and fyremadel but like i said im nervous about mixing them right and air bubbles maybe im just paranoid but they literally took less than 5mins to show me How do you inject yours is it already mixed?

Well they are now! When I was doing the stimms I had to mix the cetrotide which was a little bottle of powder and mix with the solution! Had big needles to draw up the liquid and to put in to the powder then jist had to give it a little shake the worst part was trying to change the needles on the syringe! Don’t worry to much about bubbles as they aren’t going in to a vein! But a few little flicks should send the bubbles to the top then just push up a little bit till a bit comes out! Hope that helps? No they let me inject myself with an empty one because I was so scared about injecting myself but injects were doing st night so no I was on my own it gets easier after the 1st one

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF it is scary isnt it? Im not afraid of needles or anything i just dont want to mess it up i wish they d let me do one in front of them just so i knew 100% my friend has diabetes was goin to ask her to help but she uses a pen type of thing not a syringe x

@2fingers22018 sis they not give you any leaflets with step by step? If not you will be able find some inn YouTube!

I was terrified to do my first one; so I got my friend whose a horse vet to do it as DP was away. Then my DP did them unless he was away then I did. I used to call someone when self injectioning. Seemed to help

@GreyC thanks i might try that lol how are u feeling still excited? now its all sank in i am a bit excited im thinking maybe this could all finally be coming to an end but i dnt want to set myself up for a fall. Its such a rollercoaster! X
