Our old clomid thread is no longer allowing new comments, and it's taken me 24 hours and multiple failed comments to understand why - we filled it up So thought I'd start a new one...

It could just be too early my periods have only been 26/27 days so I probably ovulated early. Try again tomorrow and good luck xx

impatientmammy · 15/07/2019 21:50

@Jemstar33 clearblue are renound for taking a bit longer I'd use a cheapie in the morning rather than a clearblue give your levels a chance to rise c

Jemstar33 · 15/07/2019 21:54

@Jesskir89 @impatientmammy thanks so much ladies. I’ll try again in the morning then just leave it till AF is due if it’s another negative. Will try to stay positive x

Jesskir89 · 15/07/2019 22:43

Good luck love x

CoffeeTables · 16/07/2019 06:09

Hello again everyone, I've had spotting this morning and now AF cramps have set in so I think I'm out. Had a big cry this afternoon. Onto the next cycle.

Crossing my fingers for you @Jemstar33 x

Jemstar33 · 16/07/2019 06:20

Sorry to hear that @CoffeeTables it sucks!!

Thank you.

I’ve tested again this morning and I can see a slight second line on the clear blue and the cheap ones don’t seem to be getting any darker. Can everyone else see them too?

I’m going to leave it now for a few days, scared to get my hopes up x

Jesskir89 · 16/07/2019 06:53

@jemstar33 I would say that a definite positive!!! @CoffeeTables sorry to hear that but stay optimistic. It took me 32 months and 5 rounds of Clomid and I thought it would never happen x

Marmite83 · 16/07/2019 07:24

@Jemstar33 that looks positive to me, congratulations!!

CoffeeTables · 16/07/2019 08:37

Looks positive to me too @Jemstar33 - fingers and toes crossed for you.

Thank you @Jesskir89 - that’s very reassuring to hear. :) Is there on of these cookie/letrozole threads every month? Would be good to keep chatting next month when I try again.

CoffeeTables · 16/07/2019 08:38

Horrible typing in my last post! Let me try again..

Is there one of the these clomid/letrozole threads every month? Smile

Jemstar33 · 16/07/2019 08:40

Thank you all for making me feel so positive. I’m praying it gets darker.

Good luck to all x

doomkittycleo · 16/07/2019 08:44

@coffeeTables, we will keep this going until it gets full (at 1000 posts). Once it’s full if there are still people active we’ll make a new one.

I’ve been following this conversation since March. We recently created a new one as the old one got full.

CoffeeTables · 16/07/2019 08:47

Thanks @doomkittycleo - I’ll settle in then! Despite the fact I wouldn’t wish infertility on anyone, it’s nice to find people to chat to who are in a similar boat.

afyfe16 · 16/07/2019 10:24

Hi all
I am new to this website but I am looking for any advise I can get.
I took clomid for three months last year, found out I was pregnant the week before Christmas 18 then on Christmas Eve I was told it was a pregnancy of unknown location. On New Year’s Eve I got the metatrexate injection and two weeks later had the miscarriage.
In April 19 I was told to start my clomid again when I got my period. Started the clomid for the third time at the start of June, I am not cycle day 43, no period and no Positive test. On cycle day 34 I had 5 days spotting which I thought could have been implantation bleeding as it was around the time of my missed period.
My consultant said to do a test every week until
I get my period.

I’m so emotional, confused, sad and no doubt stressed. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have any tips on how to stay relaxed?

Goingbacktokansascity · 16/07/2019 10:29

Good luck @Jemstar33 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Goingbacktokansascity · 16/07/2019 10:31

Anyone on here using the femometer app? I don’t know if my medication/PCOS messes with the ovulation sticks ☹️ I’m cycle day 13 and my LH seems to be dropping. Anybody else cycle day 13? X

lori2019 · 16/07/2019 10:46

@afyfe16 is it possible those 5days of spotting was actually your period? I've had times in the past where my period was super light, wouldn't fill the lightest tampon.

Have you done any opk's, you might be coming to mid cycle again?

afyfe16 · 16/07/2019 10:52

@lori2019 it was definitely not my normal period. Only one of the 5 days spotting was there actually a tiny tiny drop of blood, it was pretty much just spotting.
The consultant said until I get bleeding like a period I can't start my clomid.
The ovulation kits don't work for me. I got scanned at the hospital on day 12 and there was signs of a big follicle but I don't know what happened this time.

doomkittycleo · 16/07/2019 11:46

@afyfe16, on clomid my periods have been mostly spotting. That’s not how they were before and my last one was more like normal, but after consulting with my clinic they said if it lasted more than 3 days and had even a small amount of red blood to consider it my period and to start the clomid.

They did say if I’m doubt take a pregnancy test first, but from conversations on here, many of us have had the same experience with super light and short periods when on clomid.

afyfe16 · 16/07/2019 11:49

@doomkittycleo thanks for your reply. If it was my period then I'm too late to take the clomid so I will just wait now for my period again.

Jemstar33 · 16/07/2019 12:32

Update!! After TTC #1 for 18 months, first round of clomid and this happens 😆
I’m soooo excited

I think this thread is magic. Good luck to you all xx
