Hi ladies, just wondered if anyone wants to hold hands as we go through a cycle?

After a failed fresh cycle earlier this year, I’m starting my progynova today with a planned FET for May.

Would love some company x

@picklesandpetals sorry there's nothing for freezing yet. One of mine only made blastocyst on day 6 so you never know. But last cycle we had nothing to freeze and I know how much more pressure than puts on so hope you're ok xxx

@picklesandpetals Two of mine only made it on day 6. So fingers crossed still for you. (And the embryologist said that the ones that make it on day 6 are no less likely to be viable than the ones that are already ready by day 5 - apparently success rates are the same.)

I’m out this cycle but still keeping up with the news from all of you. So great to hear that a few of you have great quality blastocysts for freezing in addition to a fresh transfer. 🤞 most of you are not on a future thread with me.

@rainylake that last piece of info was really helpful. That’s been on my mind while waiting for the clinic to inform if any further embryos develop into day 6 blasts.

@Cobblestones - I asked her because I thought the same as you (I assumed that if they hadn't made the cut by day 5 it meant they were a bit rubbish and the chances of them developing to a healthy pregnancy were pretty slim). But she said no, they use both day 5 and day 6 freezes and they're statistically as good as each other.

Good luck with waiting for your news - hopefully you get some more to freeze...

Hey @cobblestones - have they said how quickly you can move to a FET? And whether it'd be a medicated cycle - can't help but think I'll be joining you shortly....

@rainylake interestingly my clinic said different - mine were day 5 BB and day 6 hatching AA. They said they'd preferentially transfer the day 5 as it had a higher Chance of success than the day 6 just because it did what it was meant to on the right day. Then they said they'd recommend both at once for me despite me being only 32 as my quality has been so rubbish!! (And I've had 2 this time) Interestingly she also said that as long as they're good enough to freeze the grade doesn't really matter and there's no statistical difference of pregnancy rates between Aa and bb!

Us getting different answers Sounds to me like another example of them not really knowing....:. Adding further to my theory that no one really has a clue and it's all guess work!!

Hi ladies, thanks for your good luck wishes. It’s been so busy today that I missed the call from the clinic on my results. 😬 They couldn’t leave any detail in their message, so only knew “everything is okay”.

As I was catching up with this chat, they called back...progesterone 236 & beta HCG 1312!!! The nurse said that was very good. 😊

I next go back for a scan in 2 weeks to check the placement of the foetus.

So, will just carry on with the meds, wait and stay in a positive mindset. 🌟

@bangsaklove, I’ve not changed my skincare regime yet. Hopefully, I won’t need to! 😬

I'm not coping well with my tww. I'm constantly questioning everything. Do my boobs hurt as much as yesterday, what's the cramping doing, why does it feel like I'm getting my period, am I less tired than I was yesterday, when's the soonest I can possibly test :blah:

@Si1ver tell me about it!! Yesterday thought boobs had changed but Cyclogest can do that. They have stopped hurting though. I actually feel no symptoms at all. Did actually google chronic diarrhoea as a sign, and lots of ladies swear it, but I'm putting mine down to just a bad tummy. Really want a positive sign here! Am going out of my mind!! 🙏

Ha ha @Si1ver and @picklesandpetals exactly the same here! Woke up overnight with loads of crampy abdo pain and couldn't sleep. But maybe I just ate too much dinner! And progesterone can cause cramps too. Argh!!!

My period last cycle came exactly 14 days after EC and Internet seems to imply earliest you can test accurately is 11dp3dt so I'm going to test then (if no sign of period) - so slightly early!! But try hold out til then!!

Ha @hoping2018 I found something similar for 5dt. I think the earliest that I can test is at 9dp5dt. Which would make sense, two days longer in the external development would put us in the same place.

I'm 12 days past EC and my period is due today.

I keep checking if my breasts are still sore to touch. Given that I work in an office with all men, they must think I'm being a bit weird at the minute. But none of them have said anything, bonus of being the boss I guess.

@Si1ver I expect they're enjoying the free grope show! Lol!

Just cam out of theatre. Can definitely feel my ovaries. Hubby SSR went well, found good sperm. For me - 6 eggs

Thanks @hoping2018. They have said no transfer this month because my ovaries are quite large so don't want to take the risk. I'm ok with this. Means I can go home and chill for the next few months. Just hope the eggs are a good quality

@hoping2018 I think Monday morning. I'll see how I feel when I get there. We've got my husband's aunt staying this weekend (thanks mil for dropping that on us 😬) so I'm not sure I'll want to test with her in the house.

@hoping2018 thanks for the info. I had found such a table myself actually. I'm only 3dpt, a long agonising wait still. Tummy gurgled all night. Still got low down groin pain but mostly when I stand up. No word from clinic yet

@Si1ver that's hilarious 🤣🤣🤣 gave me a proper good giggle, which then hurt my tummy! Mine don't hurt, just still bigger. My test date is 27th, is that day after yours? Bad timing with the house guests. Don't even get me started on the MIL!! I could write a book!

@AniSL 6 eggs is good. How did it go? Feel ok?

What's the best calculation for working out when my period would be due if I was going to get it? Do I still go back to my day one of this cycle? Or is it fair to assume with the amount of drugs things have gone screwy? I'm normally a 31 day cycle
