@jane that’s fantastic news, congratulations!

Thanks for the kind words ladies it has felt like a very long day! @liverpool thanks for the tip, I’ve used it that way today & so far heavy bleeding has stopped and just back to brown spotting again. I’m too scared to move from a horizontal position, not that it’s going to make any difference at all!

Liverpool19 · 12/05/2018 20:16

Wow jane this is amazing! I literally have everything crossed that this little one stays where it’s supposed too!!
blondie I’m glad the bleeding has stopped. Keep using it that way. I used mine like that throughout after reading this forum it wasn’t the best by any means but it wasn’t as messy! Fingers crossed the bleeding stays away now. Brown is good. Xx

Janefx40 · 12/05/2018 20:55

@Blondie84 I am also a back door progesterone user. Once you get used to it it is easy and I never have had any of the leakage other ladies describe. My top tip is surgical gloves!!!

Liverpool19 · 12/05/2018 21:06

The day I was told to stop them was the best day ever 😂😂

Tigerlily99 · 13/05/2018 09:46

Congratulations @janefx40, that’s absolutely amazing news! X

Winnie56 · 13/05/2018 20:22

Congratulations @Janefx40 really happy for you xxx

Janefx40 · 13/05/2018 21:16

Thanks Ladies xxx

Janefx40 · 13/05/2018 21:16

@Blondie84 how are you today? Has the bleeding stayed away?

X

Blondie84 · 13/05/2018 21:32

I had a huge red clot again last night, mostly brown spotting today with one brown clot. We did another pregnancy test this morn and it was much stronger so I’m totally confused. I’ve convinced myself of the worst, just want a definitive answer but have a feeling it’s going to be hanging over me for a good few days yet. It’s the not knowing that’s driving me mad!

Janefx40 · 13/05/2018 21:59

That's great that the line is stronger though. People do get bleeding in early pregnancy. My friend actually had proper heavy bleeding all the way through and had a healthy baby.

Hopefully that will be the last of it.

I didn't dare test today. Too scared of a weaker result. Spent the time instead trying to work out the exact levels of hcg that the CB digital measures at!!! Great use of my time eh?! Am quite crampy so not sure if that means this will be over almost as soon as it started but hoping not!!

Fx for us both

Xxx

Blondie84 · 14/05/2018 06:39

Not crazy at all @jane, I was doing the exact same thing! Fingers crossed for both of us that we’ve got little fighters on board.

Still showing positive this morn but I’ve no idea how long hcg would take to get out of my system if it is bad news. Also run out of cyclogest & my prescription isn’t due in until tomorrow, hoping the clinic may have a few spares Xx

Janefx40 · 14/05/2018 09:18

@Blondie84 I'm sure they will have spares. When I had my chemical post ICSI#1 my levels declined by about 2/3 every 2 days. But I'm not sure what you can tell from the strength of a line. Tests are set to detect at certain levels and above those levels they will be positive. There's nothing to suggest that say a test that is set at hcg25 will be any darker if your level is 100 than if it is 75. Plus I got a 2-3 weeks response on CB digital on Friday which is the middle level but only weak positives on Boots cheapies and on the one from the hospital.

Did you do a CB digital? I bought 2 for about £10.99 at Boots so expensive but not crazy if you use them sparingly.

Hello ladies,
The EC went well. They got 18 eggs, which was a huge shock.
I woke up and looked at my hands as my FS writes the number of eggs on there and it was lovely to see.
At my last scan I had 5 dominating follicles and 5 immature follicles so no idea where the rest came from.
Felt great straight after and even went out to lunch with DH. Now though feel pretty tender.
Hope you are all feeling well.

Wow congrats @PonyPals amazing result. Well done you. Now enjoy a well deserved rest. Do you have any time off work?

Xxx

Liverpool19 · 14/05/2018 13:38

pony that’s fantastic!! When do they think transfer is?
jane, blondie how are use? X

PonyPals · 14/05/2018 13:39

Thank you Jane,
I slept most of the day and now that it's 10.30 at night - I am wide awake. Will probably watch lots of Netflix.
Decided to take a whole week off to relax before transfer.
How are you feeling today?

PonyPals · 14/05/2018 13:40

Liverpool, we will know tomorrow how many fertilised and then hopefully fresh transfer on Saturday and then the rest sent for PGS.
How are you feeling. Your next scan must be coming up soon? Did you or will you be doing percept or harmony?

Elly1685 · 14/05/2018 22:32

Eek @ponypals thats amazing news! Well done! Fingers crossed for more amazing news tomorrow!

@jane and @blondie. How are you both doing? I keep thinking about you both lots and have everything crossed for continued positive news!

Quick question- after a failed fresh transfer my AF arrived Sunday 6th and finished on the Friday. Today I’ve felt really down and teary but no cramping or anything. Tonight I’ve noticed fresh red blood again. Is this normal? My skin is also really awful at the moment so it’s definitely some annoying hormones floating around! X

Blondie84 · 15/05/2018 07:14

@ponypals that’s a really great result and good idea on taking time off.

The clinic did a blood test for me yesterday, have my 2nd one on Weds and I’ll find out the results on Thurs. More waiting! I’m preparing myself for bad news but have 2 Frosties & it was only first cycle so not the end of the road.

@elly1685 I’ve no idea I’m afraid - there really is no end to what this IVF malarkey keeps throwing at us is there!

Hope all you other ladies are ok Xx

Janefx40 · 15/05/2018 07:41

@PonyPals let us know how that phone call goes

@Blondie84 fingers crossed for the bloods. At least you will know. My clinic don't do bloods so I just have to wait 3 weeks to find out. Although they are still a bit cautious with me after their massive screw up so I did get the Dr to agree last night that I could have blood tests if I wanted them. But it's all so stressful negotiating. Even talking to that Dr brings back the stress of that awful situation.

I'm quite anxious. Still crampy so just no idea if this will stick. Panicking constantly! But I am grateful too for the result.

@Elly1685 I've not had separate bits of bleeding but I wouldn't worry too much. As long as your body is clearing things out that's the main thing. I would probably tell the clinic just in case but expect it is fine. I definitely had a longer period.

Xxx

PonyPals · 15/05/2018 10:19

Wow, I wonder why they don't do blood tests?!

Got the results and 8 have fertilised. We are doing the embryoscope this time around so fingers crossed at least half survive to day 5.

Liverpool19 · 15/05/2018 11:49

Sorry ladies, had a bit of a scary two days. I had a little bit of blood when I went the toilet so have been in the EPU. Happy to say we have an 11+1 baby just giving me the run round got a few scan pictures and the little devil was moving it’s arms around and hiding it’s face 😂. pony I’m not sure what that is? And that’s fantastic on your fertilised numbers!
My clinic don’t do bloods either.
jane are you going to have the bloods? xx

Janefx40 · 15/05/2018 11:58

Yay! Good news @PonyPals and @Liverpool19

Sorry you went through stress tho.

The clinic say I can go in for bloods whenever I like and just take a ticket although sounds a bit odd to me. But I'll go Thursday morning I think.

They can't fit me in for a scan until I am 8weeks. And that week I am also super busy at work so will be when I am 8 was + 6. I'll have gone mad by then.

Hope everyone else is ok xx

Liverpool19 · 15/05/2018 12:10

The waiting for that first scan is horrific. My next scan is two weeks today. I’ll be 13 weeks exactly. My minds been put at rest now so I don’t have to stress! Ahh the old taking a ticket and wait for your number to be called. I hate that!

Winnie56 · 15/05/2018 12:30

@Liverpool19 my first scan is in two days. I don't know whether to be excited or terrified.

I managed to register at a GP surgery yesterday and she did a pregnancy test and it was positive so at least I know I still have the hormone inside me.
