Yeah xstephaniex I had the dye test then they sent for a laposcapy aswell to check for anything else and they couldn’t find any reason for them to be blocked. They don’t want to take them out either as they aren’t infected or anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ Xx

Hunter14 · 04/04/2018 20:18

Hi All.
Second scan was fine and they are happy with the lining. Phew! Started meds tonight - first time objecting myself and it was fine other than I did not wait 5 Sec before pulling out. Next scan to check size Monday...
Hope you are all ok..

Xxx

swimchick1980 · 04/04/2018 20:47

Great news Aliona, just wonderful. I have my scan a week today and the thought of potentially hearing a heartbeat is making my heart smile (tentatively of course).

Well done Hunter, the first one's the worst so you've got that over with. I wouldn't worry too much about the 5 seconds, I think that's just to make sure you get it all so if you did in quicker time, it shouldn't matter too much.

PonyPals, how are you doing?

Hoppy1985 · 04/04/2018 21:39

@swimchick1980 is right @Hunter14 the first is definitely the worst! Do you have 2 or 3 a day?

Aliona19 · 04/04/2018 21:47

Thanks girlies..
Swim I know, when she said “there is a heartbeat” I was like guy at the match at the stadium cheering and shouting. But then she put the sound on and it was so cute 😍😍 but still doesn’t register in my head.. not at the slightest
Pony how are you feeling this days? X

Hunter14 · 04/04/2018 21:57

@hoppy1985 thanks! I’m on one a day for now and will check Monday. Let’s see!
@aliona19 congrats! I’m so happy to about your special day...

PonyPals · 05/04/2018 01:24

That heartbeat is such a magical thing!
I remember we bought a home Doppler and every morning I would listen to the heartbeat for a minute just to give me a peace of mind through my first pregnancy.
I am going well, thanks @Aliona19 and @swimchick1980, have been following this read and being very happy to see so many BFP and baby scans!
I'm feeling really positive at the moment.
I am going to throw everything I can at this stim cycle and last time I weighed a lot less, so at the moment I have been very good and exercising. So far lost 7 pounds, feeling hopeful!
My FS appointment is on the 19th of April.
Good luck @swimchick1980 and @Liverpool19 for your scans.

swimchick1980 · 05/04/2018 09:00

Glad you're feeling positive Pony and 7 pounds lost is amazing. I can't stop eating, it's been the same for ages. Think it's been the stress and worry of it all.

Today I feel so sick, which in some ways is great as the symptoms are here but not particularly great for dragging myself into work or being able to function. I have a night out tonight too so I'm hoping morning sickness is restricted to the morning.

Hoppy1985 · 05/04/2018 10:37

@swimchick1980 nausea generally is just such a horrible feeling isn't it...and being sick is just exhausting! Still for a good reason right?Smile

Hoppy1985 · 05/04/2018 10:40

Today I have a weird pain up by my right hip bone and I'm feeling a bit woozy Hmm

Liverpool19 · 05/04/2018 10:55

hoppy I had that pain! Xx

Hoppy1985 · 05/04/2018 11:15

@Liverpool19 Hopefully it's not a bad thing then. I think I'm going barmy...I've not doubt all these little twinges and pains I'd think nothing of it different circumstances!

3 more sleeps till test day. Not really sure how I'm feeling. Not dramatically different to usual..not really sure if that's good or bad 🤷🏼‍♀️

Liverpool19 · 05/04/2018 11:24

hoppy I didn’t feel any different apart from the little aches I was getting and like you say I wouldn’t of put them down to anything if I didn’t know what was going on 😂 it’s plays with your head.

Thanks pony I’m glad your doing well. Xx

Hoppy1985 · 05/04/2018 13:58

@Liverpool19 it really does!

DH's sister has just sent a picture of her three with a 12 week baby scan for number 4. As if I wasn't feeling the pressure enough. 😫 I know it's not her fault we find it so hard but if she could just let someone else have a turn!😂

I am dreading testing on Sunday even more now 😔

Winnie56 · 05/04/2018 18:26

Hi ladies
I have been taking gonal f since last Friday 150ml. Feeling really bloated and exhausted. Also it has starting hurting going for a wee. It's that uncomfortable feeling when you haven't gone to the toilet for hours if you know what I mean. I'm going every hour at least and drinking lots of water and don't feel like I'm desperate when I do go - sorry tmi
I had a scan yesterday and the doctor said I had 7 follicles on one side and 5 on the other that were actively growing and things were progressing like normal, bloods were fine too. I Have another one tomorrow morning really hope I haven't gone too fast all of a sudden.

Hoppy1985 · 05/04/2018 18:47

@Winnie56 I had the wee thing too and all was ok with mine (albeit they actually only collected 9 in the end). Have you read the side effects on the leaflet? I'm sure that was one of them!

Winnie56 · 05/04/2018 19:25

Thanks hopper.
I haven't read the side effects as I find sometimes knowing them I end up imagining them lol.
I knew bloating was normal from reading forums but the uncomfortable peeing hadn't been mentioned. I'm really thirsty as well.

Milly1986 · 05/04/2018 19:47

Hi ladies I'm just wondering as you all sound like experts now .ive never been pregnant, I currently only have one Fallopian tube had the other one taken 4years ago an now this one is blocked so they're Guna be removing soon , my amh result was 4.3 an my antral follicle count of eleven , I'm 31 and once they've sorted out my tube I'm going to be starting ivf privately . Are my chances low because the consultant said she will give me 450 units of fsh so I stand a good chance but when you do the dreaded google it doesn't sound that good , any advice would be lovely 😊

Janefx40 · 05/04/2018 22:43

Hi @Milly1986 welcome. I don't know your chances but everyone stands a chance! Do you know what units your AMH was measured in? Clinics can use different ones. It's worth knowing before comparing your score to others and panicking!!

Hopefully some of the other ladies will have more info for you

Xxx

becky114 · 06/04/2018 06:17

Liverpool19 · 06/04/2018 09:14

Hope everyone else is well

Xx

Hoppy1985 · 06/04/2018 11:39

Hi @Milly1986 I'm also not much help I'm afraid, but I'm sure your doctor is doing what she feels is best so try to think positive Smile

Milly1986 · 06/04/2018 11:49

Hi janefx40 amh was measured in 4.3 pmol/L if that means anything lol
Thanks for replying 😊 Xxx

Hoppy1985 · 06/04/2018 14:02

Apart from feeling extremely bloated I am ok. I am late to the party but seemed like @Lavmc is having a really sucky time of it from posts. Hope she is ok...

Janefx40 · 06/04/2018 14:46

Hi @Milly1986 I wouldn't worry too much. There's nothing you can do about it anyway. Sometimes I think we have too much info and it just stresses us. The stats at every IVF clinic show that younger women like yourself do pretty well (and they all have fertility issues or they wouldn't be there)

There is tons on the internet about AMH and every site seems to be different. On some websites I have normal fertility and on others I have low!! So I think you need to take it all with a pinch of salt. A site I've used a bit also says low AMH doesn't equal poor IVF outcomes if you are under 35 - you definitely have age on your side. The proportion of your eggs that are likely to be healthy should be higher than someone older too even if there were fewer. So I am 41 and some sources suggest that only 20% of my eggs will be healthy whereas 65% of yours will be.

Your Antral follicle count is ok. I had a count of 9 during my monitoring cycle but got 14 mature eggs during stims.

In summary, I know it is hard but try not to worry. The Drs know what they are doing and the drugs really work!
