Atik you are the BEST! I love you girl! If the boobies hurts you are worried, if the boobies stop hurting you are worried....don't worry too much sweetie. I know you have had a bad experience but make this one amazing! I have never been pregnant before so I don;t know but from what I heard you are bound to feel your breast hurting and sometimes not. We are all different,. You are ok Atik you are doing well :-)

star thank u luv xx it's freezing nd a need go shopping awww, a cnt send ma OH to do shopping cz even last time he had list of Wat to get, he got sum stuff wich wasn't even on the list so he got less than half from list nd other half a dnt knw from wer lol

Ha!! Men shopping are universally appalling mine thinks the fairies must bring all toilet paper, shaving foam, shower gel & the things that just “appear” when u need them “where are New razor blades....i don’t know did you write the on a list?...of course not u buy them don’t you?...not every week I don’t they are about as expensive as diamonds love🙄”

Anyways!! So we had our 7 week scan today & there’s an actual baby!! Measuring right for a due date of 27th July 2018 with heartbeat so we’ve been discharged from my IVF place for my friend who has a maternity booking in on Thursday her side! DH was in shock but in a good way that it looks like a baby! Alien baby but baby! So reassuring!! And my friend gets to stop the meds when she runs out in a few days.

Bit awkward we saw someone we know pretty darn well in the waiting room, so DH actually explained & had to ask him & his wife to not say anything (they know his parents) but they won’t. Weird though someone knowing before parents but just one of those things.

I hope everyone here gets this joy 💕💕🌟for now, it’s worked & we are going to enjoy it, atik try & do the same, currently u are pregnant 😁I know it’s hard but overthinking will drive u around the bend xxx

I am so happy for you Minster this is amazing yeahhhh! BUT I have to say the most fabulous thing is that your baby's due date is 1 week after MY birthday . Thank you for sharing, it does bring warmth to my heart. I am smiling for you XXXXXXX

I know Aliona and today I feel the best I have done in the past 5 days. This afternoon I feel great! I will let tomorrow be tomorrow. I can't do anything but hoping from the bottom of my heart .

For today it is all about Minster and Minster Noodle!!!! Yeahhh !!

Tomorrow is 🌟🌟🌟day!! Thank you! My birthday is near the beginning of July so I’m a summer baby too! If it’s born around the bank holiday it won’t have to ask for it’s birthday weekend off work!! 😁😁

Minster I am overjoyed for you and your scan!!! That is the best news :) Is your DH freaking out a bit now it’s all real? So awkward meeting people there. Were they there for the same thing? I hope they keep the secret til you can do your grand announcement!

My DH let slip that I was at a particular hospital to some colleagues when I was admitted for OHSS; one of them was “oh yeah I know there I went there for my IVF...” then there was just this silence as everyone twigged lol!

Atik I think you need a Nobel Prize, that spa idea is totally genius!!! Don’t worry too much if your boobs stop hurting. Sometimes mine do too, then the cats jump on them and the pain starts again! I know it must be so hard not to worry but you’ve got this far, it has to be something to hold on to.

Aliona Snow down here is a nightmare (actually it’s not too bad in Yorkshire). When I lived in Scotland there were a few years when we had 30inches of snow and minus 15 temperatures and the trains still running!! Hope you’re staying warm indoors?? You should do christmas shopping online... I literally got everything from Etsy.

Star are you in the tech business?! So funny I imagined you in law somehow!! My brother is in tech, but his sector is struggling here so he emigrated to Canada a while ago. How are you feeling now? Hope you are still floating on the wonderful silent retreat, even if it is back to work and crazy weather! Sending you all my luck for your testing!!

As for me, we are crazy BORING in this house for presents!! We bought a joint present to each other of a new iPad, and that’s it!! I’m going to get DH some comedy slippers too, and he’ll probably get me a silly present too. Hopefully not a princess leia costume... I don’t think they come in maternity size 😂😂😂

Dinks that’s funny, when I was starting ivf I felt like I was alone in the whole world keeping it to myself. After a while got used to idea and started talking to people. Omg how many of them had ivf, friends and just mate and customers! So many of them!
Snow is bad, still snowing here half day.. now it’s minus temp so tomorow will be more fun 😳 OH couldn't work as he does landscaping.. not great when I am out of work too, but never mind. Spend all day trying not to kill each other 😂😂 u ll never guess why! Playing mario brothers on wii 😅😅😂😂 still on it and shouting like crazy “bauble it!!!!” Neighbours must be very confused 🤷‍♀️ 😅
I am rubbish with gifts and tend to spend too much which is not good right now, so ladies were sharing their ideas 😅 about spa.. I used to get it now and again but after Thailand where u get amazing massage for 6£ for an hour I feel very stingy to give away like 60-90£ for rubbish here ☹️

I totally agree about the IVF thing, I mean we’ve not told ppl other than a couple of friends about freezing the embryos back in Easter & they say that a few ppl they know have done IVF for a range of things, but it’s just so taboo (cos it’s scary too & u don’t want to get your hopes up at the time but I understand afterwards it’s not something to be ashamed of) so ppl are more inclined to talk about it I think.

It’s weird the guy & his wife were actually there for similar reasons which made it easier in that DH actually knows him very well & the guys wife is actually visibly pregnant (so we were like ?) the guy said “I’m being treated for lymphoma & started chemo” as an explanation so DH said “ah well I don’t know if u know that minster has cancer (we thought he did & he did) & actually can’t carry so that’s her best mate who has “stepped into the breach so to speak, but this is our first scan & no one knows about it so we come as a threesome for this one so if u could keep it to yourself we’d appreciate it” as he felt he needed to explain why there was 3 of us.... the funny bit was when they went in from the waiting room then his wife got sent back out again completely red faced kinda like “yeah so I’m not needed” after I had said to the others “well I guess he’s having his sperm frozen then!!” And my friend was like yeah he’s blentently wanking now & she’s surplus to requirements!! 🤣🤣

I think that’s another reason why they won’t say anything!! One thing we shall never discuss!!

Like the other day I told one of my friends that I am having ivf and transfer hopefully in January and she was “yay so u going to be mum next year” and I said “hopefully but u never know” she was like “what do u mean?! I thought ivf means u guaranteed going to have a baby” 😩

Aliona I know what you mean, it's tough as people who haven't had IVF don't have a clue. And I want to tell people how the whole process works and all the things we have to go through and explain that at the end nothing is 100% for sure (we both know that). But it's tough for them to understand unless they are living it. Good thing you have us to talk too!

And yes aliona that’s EXACTLY why we didn’t tell ppl, they assume “oh yeah so you’ll get a baby then”, yeah, tell that to the ppl where it takes time and time and time or never happens. We know how fortunate we are for it to happen first time. That’s why we didn’t give ourselves the extra worry 🙄

And dbear I fell the same, I have said to DH I feel the need to explain to ppl yes it’s great but I want to explain the crying, the heart ache, the struggle so that ppl understand how fricking hard it is. How much it affects a relationship too. How many highs and lows it can take. I feel the need to tell ppl this.

Yeah ☹️ It’s hard enough u feel like there is something wrong with you as a woman.. and then someone, like u said Minster, says “oh ivf so u gonna have a baby”.. and then if u don’t, then u feel like a double failure. Bcoz people put this in your head..and even when they pull concerned faces-they don’t have a clue. I remember friends were having a go at me for refusing to go for a party during my stims. At the end of it u feel like a whale and it hurts to move. And all I heard “but u look fine, let’s go, don’t be like that” 😒
Dbear lol by the look of it, you will need to rent Wembley stadium to fit you all in,ladies 😂 thanks for the offer but I”ll pass. I am not very good with meeting new people especially with 17384 women at once 😅

Yes people are clueless and I was one of them, but never judged the process, just never thought I would chose to go through it. I can honestly say that last week was rather challenging. All this because of the different sensations I was feeling, it was messing with my mind. My meditation helped me a great deal and so did my Love.

Just had a call from the clinic - they are over the moon they said and booked me in for a blood test on Friday and a Scan on the 3rd of January .

I am not looking forward to be released by the clinic!
