I’ve got egg collection tomorrow, fingers crossed for more than the 4 than last year and less pain and a better nurse trying to find my rubbish veins!! Then DH leaving me for the weekend for a stag do 😕

Minster I am soo hoping to find some kind of restart button for myself this weekend and maybe will cheer the F up a bit 😂😂

Evening ladies

Thank you for the good luck wishes, it went well today, we’ll, except for my crappy veins my playing ball but once in they got 5 eggs which is better than the 3 eggs last year so I’m pleased, all in the left ovary, my right is clearly lazy!! But I’m very pleased & hopeful we’ll get a few fertilised this time after the 2 we got last time from 3 but I keep trying to tell myself I shouldn’t compare!!

Chilling out since been looked after by DH & parents so all good, fingers crossed for the call on Monday!! Xx

Not out yet pony as aliona says, day 9 should give a more accurate result but there is a reason why it’s a 2ww to give a definite result, stay positive 🤞🤞🤞

Hello ladies! I'm back from the States. Had an amazing time. Ah DP and I get along so well when you take away the stress of life...sadly we had to come back tho.

Welcome new ladies. @hopingforutopia1 I am starting a low sugar diet to help my eggs and have started taking ubiquinol too. I'm a similar age to you. @Winnie56 welcome too.

@Aliona19 Sorry you're having a tough time. I think IVF stress is just an early forerunner to a life of worrying if we get to be pregnant and then get to be Mums! Work sounds hellish - is being busy distracting at all?

@Starlumiere Hope you are enjoying your break. Your wisdom is so inspiring - I still feel scared to wait and take a break but it is so important to wait for the right time. When I grow up, I want to be you!

@janefx40 that cabin looks gorgeous!! Have you come back to snow??!! We’ve had snow and because of the EC my parents have been at mine (they tried to drive home last night but had to turn back after there were crashes on the road) and so I’ve hibernated & basically haven’t moved from the sofa!!

@Liverpool19 yay, tomorrow! ET is painless - we really enjoyed ours - it felt quite special.

@Minster2012 nice to have your folks there - you were expecting to be alone right? Did DH get to the stag?

We've had some snow but not too bad. We actually had a random snow day in the cabin - was going to show a pic of it looking pretty and snowy but DP was in them all.

I had the Cather test before I started my injections jane so I’m not too worried about that she just had to move around abit to get in as I have an awkward womb angle or something 🤷🏼‍♀️ And it tilts backwards 😂
Thank you minister is it normally 12 days after a 5 day transfer that you can test? I have a christening on Easter Sunday that I can’t avoid as I’m god mother and would like to know either way and 12 days is Easter Saturday. XX

I don’t want to be the one giving false hopes and being overly optimistic (as I am never am!), but if we don’t have hope at all, no point going through this. Everything crossed you will see the second line ❤️

Hi everyone, I'm back from hols. It was so lovely to have a complete break (including from MN!). Wish we could have stayed forever.....

Liverpool, good luck today 🍀. My test day was 15 days post egg collection, do I guess 10 days post egg transfer.

Minster, great result on the eggs, 5 is fab.

Aliona, hope you're doing ok. I so trying to relax as much as possible but the worry is delay still there that the bleeding will start. I'm looking forward to a successful scan in a few weeks....

You made me laugh with the wisdom part! lol lol lol You know If I was to listen to the specialist I would have to start again now, but I know myself and prefer to do it when I feel is right. June it is and I do feel already ready which is fabulous! Have you heard back from the NHS then?

Hope your transfer went well @liverpool19! Positive thoughts & now into the dreaded wait!

I got the phone call this morning to say that 3 of the 5 eggs had fertilised and were 2 at 8 cell and 1 at 10 and all graded highest quality so they recommended growing all into Blasto & seeing what makes it. We weren’t given this choice last time, both were frozen as 10 cell 3 day high quality so we were torn as obviously the one we thawed then worked...but we decided to go with the advice and grow on as we still have the other 3 day frozen from before.

It’s so hard. If none of these survive we might always ask “what if?” Especially as we are paying for this round and it’s freeze only for us. But hey ho
