I stopped getting notifications about the thread so thought it had gone quiet. How wrong I was! Loads has happened! Hope everyone is well? And welcome newbies :)

I'm doing great thanks. My bump is getting bigger and bigger. A woman in a work meet ing asked me the other day if I'm 6 months pregnant 🙈 I'm only 5'1 so I think the baby is going outwards as my torso is so short!

Currently in the gym cycling and watching Greys Anatomy. My craving for chocolate and anything sugary shows no sign of abating and I want to keep vaguely healthy!

I have my 20 week scan in three weeks when I'll be 21+2. When is yours?

Hi all
So i had my transfer, all went well.
They transferd two Embryos which were both 6 cells so above average (graded AA i think or A*)

They didnt ask us to decide (as i thought they would ) if we wanted one or two. we decided to go with whatever they thought best.

There are 4 remaining embryos
2 at 4 cells, 1 at 2 cells 1 at 1 cell
They are going to grow them and see if any make it to blastocyst then let us know later in the week so we can decide on freezing if any are suitable

Im not quite sure about the bleeding being implantion as user said possibly down to using pessarys?
Hopefully someone can come along with helpful advice soon

Feels very strange knowing there floating about in there ,well hopefully sticking on by now!

They will tells us the progress then give us a final call the day after so we can tell them our decision.

I know what you mean @herewegoagain18 I feel like my fate has been sealed by now as we are 4 days post transfer. I have no idea what her they are clinging on or not! X

That’s great user everything crossed for you that those 2 little beans are snuggled away, my friend & I joked after transfer day that we hoped the embryo had got its health & safety equipment out, little hard hard on, had done its risk assessment & was making a really good scaffolding section to get to her lining & sticking there (as my DH had made a comment that she should push her son into a career in health & safety on the way!) so I hope yours are doing the same! Also, if any others grow on I hope you can freeze them xx

mrsmidge tbh a few ppl had bleeding at various stages on here so try not to read too much into it, it could be implantation bleed or irritation, it’s horrible being on knicker watch, when we got a bleed at 5 weeks into pregnancy & had an emergency scan our clinic said that 25% of IVF pregnancies get bleeding at some point which is crap!! Hopefully it will subside for u

rose our scan is next Friday at 20+1, I can’t wait to check all is ok, my friend looks pregnant too but not huge! Another friend was also tiny & massive so it’s obviously a thing!

Gosh, so much activity since i last checked. I only have a couple of minutes as just about to get off my freezing train.

Lots of people in the TWW, keeping everything crossed for all of you. I'm hopefully going to join you tomorrow. Got my ET appointment in the morning so fingers crossed we have at least one to put back in. I'm going myself so will be in charge of making the decision on my own which is a bit scary. I would be up for putting 2 back in if they recommended it but not sure DH would be so keen. I'm just going to do what they recommend though as they're the experts 👍

Wow so much has happen since the last time I checked in!
Thank you for the warm welcome everyone.
This has been such a frustrating time for me. I was due to start pryganova but my AF wouldn't come so then I had to take pills to induce it.
Had scans and have a cyst on my left ovary. Doc is not worried and said that I am ready for pryganova so I started yesterday.
In a weeks time have my scan to check the lining and if all is well the FET a week after that!
Feels like such a long process and for some reason I thought it would all happen much easier and quicker than the IVF ICSI cycle!
It is great to hear the success and also the TWW. How exciting!!!

Wishing you well today though im optimistic it will go well. Did you get to talk to your DH about if they suggest 1 or 2 embryos ? It is hard to make that descision alone i would have been really uncertain trying to decide. As you said its best to go with what they recommend.

The hospital moved my transfer forward to Monday so a 3 day transfer. They were aiming for a 5 day transfer so 1 blastocyst to be transferd. We had always said we hoped to get to blastocyst stage and in that case were happy and felt confident with the 1 being transferd.
The hospital had said only 1 blastocyst allowed and in case of 3 day transfer they prefferd one to be transferd over two.

On the way to transfer as things had changed ( we had expected it to be today), we said if given the option we would go for two as long as they didnt strongly advise against it. There were two standing out the best at 6 cells each. They decided to transfer the two without us having to decide against advice and we felt happy to go along with decision.

Morning guys! Still snowed in so feeling like have a little cabin fever! I just wondered where you guys all stand the excercise/the gym after transfer/during 2ww?

Was thinking I may go this eve to try and get out if house but when you google it there are differing opinions x

Thanks for you good luck wishes.The journey here was horrendous so i figure surely if i have conquered the Beast from the East in getting here, i deserve some luck.

5 eggs got to blastocyst, so they've transferred one and frozen four. They may be able to freeze 2/3 tomorrow but not sure yet.

The procedure itself is absolutely fine but i got a bit emotional, DH had to work that so i was flying solo. Would have preferred him to be here but it can't be helped.
