No headache but then nothing is happening. Still getting the same faint positive pregnancy tests I got 2 days ago so don't think the hcg has gone down yet. Bit in limbo waiting for my body to catch up. But then enjoying being technically pregnant too...I'm such a fantasist but it's the closest I've ever been.

Not sure if this is TMI but we had sex this morning and ouch!!! So sore inside. Have any of you experienced that? It's over 2 weeks since any Dr did any poking around in there so was surprised!

As for me, reeling over the latest consultant appointment, though think it was another junior doctor... do you think being a patronising arse is part of their training? “No you didn’t roll your eyes hard enough, make it more obvious so the patient realises how superior you are...”

I don’t know if I’m a jerk of a patient but is it too much to expect an intelligent discussion rather than them rolling out dogma?? Grrrr.

Family and friends now know about our boy, and have already seen pics of the clothes MIL is buying.... So far it looks like she will be auditioning him for an oom-pah band!!

That’s all my news. Wondering if it’s too soon to start the mat leave countdown?? Work is such a chore. DH needs to get a promotion so I can go part time... that’s the dream!!

Hey Dinks. I don’t even want to start on this consultants and other staff of hospital 😡😡 I have scan tomorow and it’s only can be done from 10.30 to 11.30 wtf. So I took day off (didn’t want to) and when I asked nurse why can’t they do later times?! She laughed and said “oh u can come later but there won’t be anyone to do the scan” argh 😤 assholes everywhere! So now praying it will be ok and I won’t need another one.. otherwise I will be sucked before my probation is over 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
It’s time to start countdown haha I am not even pregnant but already calculating 😂😂 so u well overdue lol

How’s everyone? We had lazy Saturday (weather was rubbish) and today did some little jobs around house, shopping, replant all my plants in bigger pots (fingers crossed they won’t die 😅😅) and took puppy for a long walk. Happy I don’t have to work tommorow whoohoo

This 2ww is killing me and I have a feeling that it's not worked this time. Have had zero symptoms, I mean nothing I feel totally "normal".

AF is due tomorrow so I'm gearing myself up to welcome her this week. Currently at work trying to keep my shit together (confused).

Thinking i'll be taking a long break from IVF after this as I need to have some life, fun, and get to feeling like myself. DH and I only got married in aug and we haven't had a honeymoon so we are planning on 2 wks off together to relax and not have to think about all this stuff.

Dbear has it never happened to u when u was confident about something and it didn’t work out? And then the opposite when u think it’s not working and no way it’s goong to work out and then bam!! And it worked. Let’s just think you going to have super easy pregnancy and that’s why no symptoms! Stay strong xxx

@Dinkandbinks, lovely to hear from you my darling and I get so annoyed when I read about all of the morons you have to deal with, but I am glad to see you are keeping it together and marching forward. Naples was great thank you . The Amalfi coast is so romantic, I have been there many times but it was the first time for OH. We climbed the Mont Vesuvio, which was beautiful also. And the food OMG the food! If you haven't been you should go!!! So much to do! Also it was 16 degrees and totally forgot about IVF .

@Dbear - sweetie, yes the 2WW is pretty boring and challenging, I really would like to say that it is pretty shit, but you know what? Feeling or not feeling something does not mean one or the other, - and that is a fact! So rather than torture yourself wait and see what happens. Remember you did all you could and this is all you can do. Plan your honeymoon and if you want some tips ask me, I am called the Travel agent at work ha!

@Aliona - hang in there sweetie you are almost there!

I had a good Acupuncture session on Friday evening and might get some patches on top of the Progynova I will be taking. Anybody knows of Baby Aspirin 75? Haven't bought my meds yet, not really in rush it feels. My ovulation testing showing that I am very close to ovulation, so I am glad my body is working as it should . Well I am off to Milan again and will make sure to have a little bit of fun.

Oooh Star maybe I could use you for some travel consultancy!!! We are trying to book a babymoon, but having a total nightmare. We need to find the warmest place possible within a 3 hour flight of Manchester, that will be a nice relaxing holiday with good food and nice views, where I can put my feet up for a week. We wanted to go to Port de Soller in Majorca but it is busting outlet budget (mainly because DH faffed about for so long, the flight prices doubled grrrr). I speak a bit of French, German and Spanish but no Italian. Help! Where would you go?

Dbear I think I felt like that too. Zero symptoms, felt nothing at all and was convinced I was out. Then around day 12 everything kicked off with OHSS. Even then, no actual pregnancy symptoms. The first I thought “uhoh here we go” was Halloween, a whole month after my EC. Just be kind to yourself and try to relax... I know it’s impossible though!! What can you do to distract yourself? I looked at houses on rightmove lol.

Aliona How is your day off going?? Puppy is so cute!! Hope she is behaving ;) I hope you get some more certainty from your clinic... it must be so frustrating having to deal with work too. I have everything crossed for the scan tomorrow!!

Update 🤗 So had my scan. Doc said lining looks like pic from book and I am ready for action 😅😅 transfer date is 23 and it’s friday so at least I will have weekend to relax before work. Also I have question. Stupid or not don’t know 😅 you know when u get pregnant they count weeks from your last period. For example I ovulated and conceived a baby on 14 but they add extra 2 weeks to it. How does it work with fet? From day of transfer or plus one week coz it’s been kind of growing outside me? I am confused

@Dbear35 it's a nightmare isn't it! But really there is no way to know. Loads of people feel nothing at all. When is your test day? We are all rotting for you.

Having a bit of a nightmare. They did bloods today to check my hcg had gone down. Period started today after some spotting earlier so wasn't particularly worried about results.

Consultant rang (never a good sign) to say that hcg levels have gone up to 80 so it has been doubling although far away from a healthy level. They want me to start taking cyclogest again (why? I don't quite understand). They think I am miscarrying but they aren't sure why my levels have gone up if so. My progesterone is way down at 10.

He says 3% chance of viable pregnancy, 2% chance of ectopic (my worry), 95% I am having some kind of miscarriage. Since I don't seem to be actually pregnant, I just want this to be over now :(

@janefx40 I am on a plane to Milan, can’t they scan you and tell you what they see? If nothing in the uterus then have an ultrasound at your local maternity hospital. If you are worried, don’t wait and just go. But first go to your clinic and ask for a scan, that’s what I did and could see the 2 sacs in the uterus....hang in there but take initiative if needs be. Don’t be worried, you can resolve this. 😘😘😘

@janefx40, I have been lurking a bit (on the Jan thread), however really encourage you to push for a scan. What you are experiencing sounds similar to what I had with my ectopic in March. The first doctor told me not to worry as my chance of ectopic was so small it was most likely a miscarriage, but my HCG was at 500 at that point and I had been bleeding for several weeks. If it's caught now it isn't anything to worry about but trust your gut.
Fingers crossed it's one of those rare miracles instead though xxx

Yes Jane agree with all. I would think it can be ectopic, not good. Any other signs? But then if they still giving you chance, who knows?! Hold on there xxx

jane totally agree with everyone, push push push for a scan, say it’s too traumatic & even being on NHS it makes no difference. Please keep pushing! They’ll be giving you cyclogest just in case.

dbear my friend felt totally normal, like nothing whatsoever, so stay positive! Definitely doesn’t mean it’s not worked 😁

dinks puerto pollensa in Majorca is lovely, I’ve been there a few times, good mix of quiet & lively and good beach and square & food & it’s not hilly to walk around the main bit or far at all to go for anything! Good for being pregnant! March decent weather but that’s when it starts to get ok & the season starts so not everything will be open til April I think. North side of the island do it’s an hour from the airport, we use resort Hoppa (I use resort Hoppa in lots of countries!)

that calculator is what we used, and ours is accurate (though ours was a 4 day transfer & I put 3 day & our due days was brought forward to 26th July at scabs) basically by the time our 2ww was up my friend was 4 weeks pregnant. So it’s there or there abouts, it’s because in a normal pregnancy time is spent from your last period releasing the egg & going down your tube then fertilisation occurring & the embryo cells dividing whilst travelling then implanting, well the travelling down the tubes & splitting has already happened outside of the womb for us so it’s just the extra hatching & implanting time & whatever the time is for burrowing (not the technical term!) but it usually works out as about 2 weeks pregnant at transfer or something then your clinic can give you more information.

I should be starting again beginning of March 😩

Minster I think it’s like 2 weeks extra from ovulation back to period plus week for embryo developing outside me.. so when 8 weeks past transfer it will be actually 11 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know it’s early days and u never know, but just thinking it will be showing more than I was hoping if it works. My probation should be finishing mid April.. damn xx
