aliona Crazy Russian what do you mean!? Are you doing a FET or fresh? A trigger is usually only for a fresh. I have Bueserlin for a few wks then have tablets after that to increase the lining.
Do you have a copy of your plan yet?

Don’t be worried these side effects will be no match for you! 💪🏻

Aliona19 · 29/12/2017 20:16

Lol Dbear I am dodgy Russian and meant I usED this drug for trigger for my EC before therefore know nothing about any side effects.. and u making me nervous 😟 and I start 9 and my first scan 1 of Feb.. which means I have to use it over 3 weeks 🤨

Dbear35 · 29/12/2017 21:18

aliona ha ha ok dodgy ah I see I get you! 👍🏻...don’t worry it maybe just me and how my body responds to it. Everyone reacts differently I’ll keep you updated as they may subside in a few days.
My first scan is 10th with transfer on or around 1st Feb eakkkk it’s all starting 😬😬

OP posts:
Aliona19 · 29/12/2017 21:25

So the day I am going for my first scan-you having transfer 😍 not exactly same 2 ww but close enough. Still feels miles away 😏

Janefx40 · 30/12/2017 00:53

@Aliona19 @Dbear35 nice that you will have 2WW buddies. Fingers crossed you don't get side effects and btw @Aliona19 those buns looked amazing. Did you make them?

@Starlumiere sorry you have been in pain. You have such a positive attitude but am glad to hear you say that you also make time to deal with things. It's important sometimes to let ourselves feel sad and acknowledge something shit has happened :( hoping for positive things for you soon x

Aliona19 · 30/12/2017 09:59

Jane 😁 yes I am a star baker 😅😅
I am feeling rather emotional this morning, watching some poxy movie about saving whales and crying at 9 am 😂 have a good day everyone ❤️

Starlumiere · 30/12/2017 10:28

Morning all,

It is my first good night sleep in a few days, yes!!! Plus the blessing is very light now, so all around much better 😁.

@Jane, yes of course I am believe in the healing process and it is key! I do embrace my emotions, although tiring as I does deplete me with all my energy, however it is a necessary step. But my goal is to have my baby, so I need to change the sadness of miscaring twins. It is not a walk in the park, but it won't break me. I decide and I am going to do this.

@Alona I have wanted cinnamon buns since I saw your pic!!! I might just indulge later!

Minster2012 · 30/12/2017 18:37

jane a short protocol will be much better that fab news!! Yay for good news over the festive period!

dinks your back garden looks amazing, we live about 35 mins drive from a few beaches that u can take dogs & horses on it’s good for lovely walks & days out, u had much more snow!

aliona & dbear we’ll all be here for you but again really good you are close to each other in time frames! It’s all about to kick off! 😁. Our cockapoo is adorable and everyone loves him, we considered a cavapoo but do a lot of walking a cavas need less so we actually went for the more hyper one! But we researched well & ours doesn’t moult but he does need brushing every other day & SOAKS UP EVERYTHING! (If u think they are low maintenance they aren’t! Also need grooming costs!) so bear that in mind but they are great intelligent easy to train loving dogs that are fab with kids too (a reason we got a poodle cross initially).

star you look after yourself & allow time to grieve too lovely xxx

rose I still want to tell the rest of the world & it’s so hard, especially sale time as well I’m looking longingly at little rompers 🙈🙈but must be good!!

atik how are you sweetie??

Starlumiere · 31/12/2017 10:45

Good morning Ladies!

Today is the last day in f the year and the universe has decided to give me a break - great night sleep, no bleeding anymore - which equals a big smile on my face yeahhh!!

@Minster, I can imagine you want to share with the whole world, it is such a beautiful feeling! You are near right, over 10 weeks?

@Janet, how are you sweetie? Less emotional?

@Dinks still feeling sick bless you?

@Rose, what about you what are the news?

@Dbear are you now comfortable with the injections or do you find them challenging?

@Aliona your time is approaching to start it all honey pie! How exciting!!!

@Ginandtonic, how are you darling?

I am off to London later on this afternoon to OH's sister right in the very positive DH centre for a calm and lovely evening - and a long meditation. I feel myself again and couldn't be happier.

A miracle might happened at my next/last scan on the 3rd, if not to a fresh cycle in 2018 joining a few ladies on here. Wishing you all from the bottom of my heart a marvellous 31st and above all a New Year filled with happiness and joy 🍀🌟🌹✨❤️😍.

Happy New Year Lovely Ladies!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Starlumiere · 31/12/2017 10:46

@Atik, I haven't forgotten you, I talked to you yesterday 😘.

Minster2012 · 31/12/2017 14:46

So pleased you are feeling good star that’s great, we are having a lovely chilled day by the fire with dogs before going over to friends down the road tonight & fireworks in the village pub. Yes we are just over 10 weeks so kinda feel ok about everything (friends sickness well established & no bleeding so all seems ok) & it’s more that we have our 12 week + testing scam booked actually on 18th Jan which is 13 weeks (that’s when they could get us in for the testing after 12+4 which I have to be) we’ve seen a few close friends over Xmas & we’ve been having to say to them “we need to sort something for late Jan/early Feb” hoping that we’ll be able to tell them then!!

Hope everyone has an amazing NYE 💕🌟🍾fizz to those that can drink, non fizz to those that can’t!! Xxx

Aliona19 · 31/12/2017 18:25

Happy new year beautiful ladies!! Have a fantastic evening and may all our dreams come true! Don’t forget to write that wish down and drink it up as the countdown begins. Loads of love to you all ❤️❤️

Dbear35 · 31/12/2017 20:09

HI all!

Have a super duper New Years! aliona I have a vino but I’ll try to remember the champagne wish tradition 😊xx

5 injections down and sleep still disturbed and I’m so thirsty all the time but apart from that I’m plodding along.

Lots of love to you all!! 😘😍xxxxx

Here’s to 2018 and all the good things it will bring to us all!

Aliona19 · 31/12/2017 20:27

Dbear vino is good 😅 any drink. Just burn the paper and chuck it in the glass 👌🏻

Janefx40 · 01/01/2018 00:46

Happy new year everyone. 2017 was a bit of a struggle. Bring on 2018!!

Xxxx

Minster2012 · 01/01/2018 18:07

Happy New Year everyone!! Hope everyone had a good one!! 😁💕🌟

For those that couldn’t 🍾, don’t worry I took the mantle for you!! But not too much!

dinks I hope the sickness is abating slightly & things are ok with DH, it’s a tough ride and my friend found it very difficult with the pessaries & stuff & she only had the FET side, I can’t imagine how difficult it is with OHSS too & the horribleness that can cause when u “are meant to be feeling joy” so I hope that the OHSS is getting better??

For those with stimulation injection side effects keep going ladies 👍🏻🤱🏼

RoseWrites · 02/01/2018 13:14

Happy new year everyone!

I hope you all had a nice night? For all those off the booze, I hope you coped without a tipple! I had half a guinness and then felt insanely guilty and spent about an hour googling whether I had done irreparable damage. I think it'll be 7 months of zero alcohol beer, wine (vom) and shloer from now on... :)

Star I really hope you are doing ok. I'm so impressed by your calmness and positivity. I'm keeping hopeful for your scan tomorrow, and sending you lots of love.

How is everyone else doing? Well I hope!

xx

Janefx40 · 02/01/2018 18:15

@Starlumiere good luck with your scan tomorrow. Hope you are feeling ok about it.

I finally got a call back from my clinic which I'd requested last week - typically they called when I was on the train without my list of questions in front of me and surrounded by people! I had a few questions and things I wanted to clarify.

They confirmed that they've put me on a short protocol because there wasn't that much ovarian activity which, they said, is normal for my age. I already knew this but somehow still feel a bit shaken - I suppose I hoped that maybe I'd be extra healthy for my age especially as I had a reasonable AMH. Silly I know but I suppose we all probably hope for miracles. I know I'm in the right place for treatment but this all feels like a lot to process.

I also asked how long a break I had to take between cycles. I hadn't realised I would have to take such a long break. I suppose I feel impatient for a family but then IVF and impatience probably don't mix.

Hope you are all ok. I am ok really - just a bit knocked. And don't want to get home and bring instant negativity to DP so thought I'd share with you instead xx

Aliona19 · 02/01/2018 18:39

Grrrrrr wrote it and deleted it 😏🔫
Jane I am very bad with waiting. Very impatient and want things done here and now..also constant questions from people who know “u have eggs collected in October why taking so long”. Also you saying bad news.. it’s not bad news. “Not much ovarian activity”, well that’s why they there for, to stimulate things and get you a baby. Don’t feel down ❤️

Star How r you? Hope scan goes ok and good or bad news, at least you will get your answers. Loads of love

I am feeling pretty 💩 myself, just overthinking things. And went for my councelling today 😅😂 was waiting for 15 min and went to find out what’s happening only to be told it’s tomorrow and not today 👌🏻👌🏻

Starlumiere · 02/01/2018 20:46

Hi ladies,

Thank you @Rose it is very kind of you 😘. I don't think 1/2 pint would do any damage sweetie 😜.

@Jane, don't you worry about all this. I agree with Aliona, the stims will do what needs to happen 😀. Trust your body, you are 40, not 60! It will all be good, just a bit daunting, I know but take each day as it comes. When are you getting your meds? Have they given you a start date? Thank you very much for the encouragement 😘.

@Aliona and @Rose - I am fine ladies. Was at work today, which was strange and good at the same time. We laughed a lot as not much to do yet, tomorrow I have a day off do a nice transition plan here for me. Planned my Silent retreat for the year and holidays in Easter and June 😬. Not bleeding at all today, not even spotting which is lovely! Came back home to my OH who cooked a divine meal ✨🌟. What will be, will be tomorrow, but I am hopeful of course, you know me by now.

@Aliona why are you stressed sweetie? Because you are starting on Thursday or because of your counselling session?

Love to all,
X

Janefx40 · 02/01/2018 21:42

Hi all

@Aliona19 why are you feeling rubbish? Easy to make the mistake about your appointment - especially at this time of year - I've forgotten which day it is. Hope counselling tomorrow makes you feel better

@RoseWrites definitely agree that half a Guinness will do no harm - they say it's rich in iron so probably do you the world of good!

@Starlumiere what work do you do? Glad you laughed a lot. Sounds like you had a good day.

Thanks ladies for your reassurance again - it helps. Xxx

Aliona19 · 02/01/2018 21:56

Jane don’t know just questioning everything, getting cold feet. Also although I had my injections and egg collection I am getting nervous again about injecting myself. I know it doesn’t hurt but just can’t pull myself together ☹️

Janefx40 · 02/01/2018 22:22

@Aliona19 don't be hard on yourself. Of course you are nervous - it is quite scary. You are all so brave to be doing this at all (I'll include myself in that once I've actually done a cycle!)

The way I see it is that I'm in a battle - I'm fighting for my child - and to get them I'm battling my body and my age and the NHS and my job and everything that is standing in the way - I don't want to - I'd rather it would come easy but it hasn't and I'll keep going as long as I can - it's natural to be nervous before a battle (I've seen it in the movies after all!). But when the day comes, I'll face whatever I have to. And so will you.

Sorry - not very zen or mother naturey. And maybe a bit melodramatic perhaps (well I was an actor for a while after all!!) - but it's how I think of it anyway

Xxxx

Aliona19 · 02/01/2018 22:42

Lol Jane made me laugh. In my case it doesn’t look like a battle anymore, more of a Second World War and it doesn’t seem to end. Star is giving me pep talk on fb right now, she is not giving up on me 😅 but u right and once u do your first injection you will feel ok ❤️

Janefx40 · 02/01/2018 22:44

@Aliona19 glad I made you laugh Winkgotta be better than stressing! Xxx
