Since we moved house I don't live near any shops anymore so my days of impromptu H&M trips are over which is sad. Sometimes a splurge on disposable clothes is exactly what you need. Hope you've got plenty of keepers!
I can't believe the Bake Off winner was leaked - how stupid!! I don't use Twitter or any other social media so manged to avoid finding out but was a bit indifferent about the efforts last night in the end.
I haven't watched previous series but are they not usually better than that by the final?! The biscuits and bread seemed pretty ordinary for 'star bakers' and I thought some of the show stoppers from the first episode were better than last night.
Maybe I'm being really harsh??
Still off sick and feeling sorry for myself - tonsillitis has now migrated to ear infection. DP had to help me shower this morning before driving me to my scan 🙈
Things didn't improve there either sadly. My smaller follicles haven't grown so no chance of egg collection on Friday as I only have one that is big enough to contain a mature egg.
They're going to re-scan on Friday and see if there's been any movement and the best case is I go for collection on Monday and get between 6-8 eggs.
However, there is a pretty big risk that I'll ovulate over the weekend (because of how far ahead the lead follicle is, and the ovulation-blocking drug I'm on being a weak one compared to Buserelin which is used in standard cycles) which would obviously mean abandoned cycle.
All pretty disappointing. All these scans and time off work and injections and then looking at probable cancellation at the last minute is a bit of a kick in the guts. But I guess it is what it is 😑
On a more positive note I got through eight episodes of Mindhunter yesterday! Thanks for the rec!
