I just got my day 21 results, progesterone was 38 so looks like a definitely ovulated
Had some spotting yesterday which was CD22 so not sure if AF is coming early just to confuse me, think I'm due on Sunday/Monday!!

Wow that's brilliant news sunny you must be so thrilled, what a high result too. Really gives me hope!! I hope 100mg is my dose too. Fingers crossed for you. When are you going to test. The spotting could be implantation bleeding!

It's quite common to get sore breasts before your period thinking try not too worry. I didn't get it either on the pill and then when I came off it I would get it quite bad. Since I've started Clomid treatment I get it all the time no matter where in my cycle!!

Finished my nore, expecting AF on Sunday. Can't wait to start 100mg!

Thanks SLady and SoapyChoc it seems that OpKs are actually quite accurate for me so sticking with them!! I guess it could be but just trying not to overthink it!! I will test on Saturday if I don't feel like AF is coming only because I'm out Saturday for my friends birthday and I know there will be lots of prosecco!!

That's really exciting SLady if/when I come on we will be taking Clomid more or less the same days!!

Yes but I have my fingers crossed for you that you won't need anymore Sunny!! Either way it's great news you've found the dose that works for you, that's half the battle done!!

Thank you for the positivity SLady but pretty sure I'll be joining you!! Had a little bit more browny discharge (sorry TMI!!) reckon I'll be on by tonight or the morning. Feeling a bit shitty but think that's partly sleep deprivation from nights shifts!! Taken myself to bed for the day sleep of my grump! Any sign of AF for you?

No signs of AF for me yet but the last two times on nore it's arrived without warning and full force day 5 at the same time like clockwork so expecting it tomorrow morning, hopefully!

Had a little cry and feel shifty today but at least I don't need to induce a period for my next round I guess!! Really confused as to why it's shortened the cycle so much but hoping it's a one off!! Will be starting my Clomid tomorrow so we'll probably be a day apart, we can hand hold .
But for day I will be making the most of being able to have a couple of guilt free glasses of bubbles and not think too much about it!! Has everyone got a nice weekend planned?

Sorry AF came sunny. How long was this cycle? I know it must feel so disheartening but it's such good news you ovulated, and you can start your next round straight away. It's just a waiting game now as to when it'll happen but it will

Ah amazing news @Sunny1984 on ovulation!! Next month could be your month! I'm enjoying my last few bubbles this weekend too before I start with ivf meds! Enjoy this sunshine that we are having for the long weekend and relax. Evening bubble baths with bubbles if ya know what I mean! Hahaha

I've also enjoyed a glass or two of bubbles this weekend , we deserve it! But back on the regime for me now - AF arrived this morning so CD1 for me, first go of 100mg tomorrow. FX!

Thank you lovelies! We definitely deserve!! Great news SLady on AF so you can get started. I'm really confused AF was really heavy over Friday night and all day yesterday but seems to have more or less stopped today! Really not sure what I should about the Clomid! I don't want to miss this cycle but because it was so light not sure if it will matter?! So bloody typical it happened at the weekend so there is no one to call and ask! What do you think I should do?!

I think you should take the Clomid today sunny I don't think it matters how long AF lasts, everyone is different. It's definitely a true bleed too as you ovulated and doesnt sound like it was just spotting. You're good to go I think.

That's good Sunny I think that's the right decision. You could always call and check in the morning, but either way it'll have been better to have taken it than miss the dose.
I'm going to take mine tomorrow early eve. Just incase the higher dose has more side effects for me then hopefully I'll sleep through them. Usually it just makes me feel a bit hot so hopefully not too bad

Good luck today with your first dose SLady! I honestly had more side effects on the 50mg than the 100mg so hopefully you'll be the same!! AF reappeared overnight so thank you for the advice it was definitely the right thing to do!

Was talking to DH last night and we have decided (I've convinced him!!!) that if this cycle isn't our one we will go back to private clinic and have monitoring. I'm worried about my lining being an issue as in every scan I've had they always comment about it being so thin!

Oh that's good, im pleased! Yes I guess if you ovulate again and don't get a bfp then could be a good option to reassure you. I think theres only a 30-odd percent chance of getting pregnant in one month for any "normal" couple so don't be too down on yourself. Are your AFs usually light then? I'm not sure if lighter AFs necessarily equate to thinner lining. Ive always wondered as mine have always been fairly light

Back off my holidays, I have been reading the comments whilst i was away but couldn't remember my log in details

Went for a scan last Thursday CD14 and they said i had one nice mature follicle so i am going back this afternoon, I am assuming they will be able to check if i have ovulated from a scan? Haven't had any bloods done yet though.

That's great Amy hopefully you've ovulated this month! I'm not sure if they can tell if you've ovulated from the scan as I've never been monitored. Sounding positive though - let us know how you get on today.

CD3 today so far so good. Was kind of hoping there might be some change taking 100mg just so I know it was working.

I swear the few weeks break inbetween cycles does the world of good for my mental health. CD1 I'm feeling positive, chilled and happy. By CD10 I'll be becoming obsessed, by CD21 a nervous wreck and CD28 depressed and crying! What an emotional rollercoaster haha!!

@SLady oh tell me about it. AF came on 2 days into my holiday and i was gutted, woke up in the night and had the dreaded feeling and just started crying! As soon as I was up for the day I felt relaxed and optimistic for the new cycle...Now i am in the '2WW' its a different story

I am hoping for good news at the scan later, even if this isn't our month just to have one follicle maturing gives me hope!

Fingers crossed 100mg does the trick, did you have many symptoms on the 50mg? I had loads of EWCM and really sore nipples!! Have you changed your diet much since having PCOS? I am about 2 stone overweight and really need to do something about it

Oh it's horrible isn't it. And especially as I am not ovulating yet I get really anxious that Clomid just won't work for me!

I had two rounds of 50mg. The first round I had alot of EWCM and second round no symptoms whatsoever. But didn't ovulate on either anyway.

No my weight has always been normal but I know you can still be insulin resistant even if you are slim so i just try and make healthier choices now, everything in moderation and cut down on sugar as I have a huge sweet tooth!

So will you just be sticking with the 50mg now?

@SLady I have a huge sweet tooth too but have found taking metformin has helped with my need for something sweet after every single meal. And I am normal weight too so just goes to show you that I am probably insulin resistant too.. and it brought on my bleed I bet too so looks like it has done some good for me. Although I did just see doc today and she said it was highly unlikely that I have ovulated from it so still moving forward with IVF. Just had some bloods today. Then next week I will be put on birth control pill till the 17th, then noresthrone for period and then start my injections. Looks like I'll be going for ivf very end of September or beginning of October I think! Not excited to give myself all the injections uhrg
