Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Cat I am 2 days behind you I'm on CD7. I presume it would still be 5-9 days after the 5th tablet otherwise it would be making your cycle longer if your ovulating later? I am unsure though.

Yes Fig, as my first round didn't work and I have no idea when I'm ovulating I thought I'd try the clearblue opks. I got them a little cheaper on eBay

I just had to Google ovarian drilling cat as never heard of it. Sounds interesting and came up with quite a few success stories.

Does anybody else temp? I did a long time ago but I've lost my thermometer and it all seems too much hassle now.

I'm on 100mg of clomid. First cycle i ovulated, second I didn't, third I had a cp, 4th no ovulation. It's driving me crazy!!
Bad symptoms- hot flushes, headaches, bloating and had one glass of red wine and was sick so so bad for 48hrs!! (Anyone else had this??)

Got two cycles left and just started norethisterone to induce AF after a long anovulatory cycle.

Does anyone get constant positives on opks? I temp also have found it raises your temp slightly the days I take clomid but then drops a bit after. I get quite a few attempts of ovulation until it actually happens and is quite painful each time.

I've had the hot flushes but no sickness or headaches so far. I don't seem to get any positive opk's either, but I haven't ovulated on clomid so that's probably why.

Will your doctor increase your dose to 150?

Does anyone get a more heavy AF with clomid? I didn't on 50 but this time it is ridiculous.

Scan is booked for Monday. It's getting quite hard now to ask for time out of work. I haven't told them the real reason as I don't want them to know.

Just a quick update, saw the Dr at the ACU and all is well, turns out (you'll laugh) I have gaz + a retroverted uterus which explains the cramps. But that was a nice excuse to have a (very) early scan where I saw the little sack of cells that will hopefully develop into a baby! I have another one in 2 weeks to check in, where we should be able to see the heart which is very exciting.

I didn't experience side effects when taking Clomid, I took it in the evening to avoid them. I didn't sleep as well when I was taking it but that was it.

Fig I've made up physio appt and looking further into some check up results as excuses at work - both are medical so I don't feel too bad about not telling the truth.

I've had two days of AF cramps, I can start my first round of Clomid as soon as she shows.

Never been so excited for the witch to arrive.

Ok so af has arrived this morning. I can begin my clomid journey tomorrow .

That's fab news Doom!! If I can give some 'do what I say not what I did' type of advice, do stuff next week, see friends if you can, and don't obsess over the process (the irony of me saying that is precious).

I'm moving house in a week so will be pretty busy. Just hoping DP will be in the mood to christen the new house.

I'm on the countdown now too doom. Have you decided whether to take it at night or during the day? When did you take it tata? Great news about your scan

Oh sorry tata I scrolled up and saw you took it at night! Im worried it will give me insomnia. Did it with you?

It affected the quality of my sleep a little but it didn't give me insomnia. I've read so much about headaches and hot flushes with Clomid that my priority was to remain a functioning person during the day!

I'm thinking I'll take it at 6pm, that way it's less likely to affect me at work, but won't affect sleep too much either. Hopefully that'll work.

Yeah I know what you mean. I just don't function with no sleep either!!! I had awful pregnancy insomnia so I think I might be sensitive to hormones.

How far gone are you Tata? Are you feeling pregnant yet?

Earlier in the night sounds like a good plan doom. I might think about doing that too!

Mm yes and no, I can feel changes in my body, but other than that when I don't feel them I could actually forget I'm pregnant fot a few seconds, I can't wait to feel more though!

I remember thinking that Tata but then the nausea and exhaustion set in and I cried a lot!!! Hopefully you'll be one of these who sails through it, but if not just remember it doesn't last forever!

Wouldn't that be nice Mm!! I do feel very tired, gone to bed before 10pm every night this week, trying to stay up a bit longer to stay with DH tonight!

Are you sleeping ok once you're in bed? How long is it until your scan?

I sleep like a rock! Next scan is in a couple of weeks, we re hoping to see a heartbeat but I've read not everyone does at 6 weeks. When are you expecting AF?

Good news on your first scan tata, I'm following your advise this time and trying not to obsess. I don't think I'm even gonna do opk's just go for every other day dtd.

I have taken two days at 150 mg, woke up in a sweat early hours this morning but dh was hot too so not sure if it's the clomid. First scan is Monday.

Good luck doom - will be wishing you well for your first cycle. I've decided not to start my first cycle on Clomid until next cycle after what I'm pretty sure was a CP last cycle. Fingers crossed I'll only be a few weeks behind you and we both get Clomid BFPs soon!

Thanks for all the good wishes guys. I'm proper nervous and excited. Just hope I don't get too stressed with it. Some months DP hasn't been in the mood at the right time which has causes some frustration. I'm just gonna try and stay calm and keep it fun.

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days been so manic at work! And just found out I will be moving which I'm not happy about and it's going to be a lot more stressful and don't think it's going to help with ttc!

Sickness bug hit me last night but all better now :)
