Accidental fantastic news!!! Congratulations! I'm currently round 5 and feeling a bit down, you've given me hope.

accidentalgrownup · 31/03/2017 21:48

Thanks ladies! Fingers crossed for you all....lucky number 5 for you too hopefully kt!

Footy1 · 31/03/2017 22:07

Congratulations Accidental! That's great news. Really pleased and just before your appointment too.
Did u have any symptoms that made u think u were?
Did u do dtd on ov day?

The clomid has made me into a moaning moo moo. It's horrid

Ktmp · 01/04/2017 06:34

Thanks accidental. Day 15 and still just saying high for me but my fertility app says I ovulated on day 11 based on temp. Hmm

MmmMalbec · 01/04/2017 07:12

Amazing accidental! Congratulations Grin

KP86 · 01/04/2017 09:49

Just realised I've done 4 cycles as well. Wonder if I should go for a fifth?

penguinsandotters · 01/04/2017 13:32

So it's a BFN this morning Sad AF not officially due till tomorrow but thinking it's unlikely to be BFP tomorrow if BFN today.
This was only first cycle on 100mg clomid, thinking of upping dose to 150mg next cycle - anyone else been on 150mg? Any side effects?
Happy weekend all!

penguinsandotters · 01/04/2017 13:33

KP86 Ive only been given 4 cycles by my doctor. I'd definitely go for a fifth if 4 didn't work as you can have up to 6 cycles I think? Good luck!

KP86 · 01/04/2017 14:01

I've had two cycles from my old supply (from DS pregnancy) and two cycles from Oxford Online Pharmacy.

When I had the major bleed/chemical/MC last month I went to GP for a check up and she said she would prescribe me more if I wanted it. Need to get DH down there to get his own tests ordered. I don't think he has been to a GP for himself in years.

accidentalgrownup · 02/04/2017 05:49

Thanks everyone 😊
DTD on CDs 12, 17, 20 and think I ov'd on 21 although I'm not 100% sure so not much really just lucky I guess. After almost 2 years TTC it's s bit of a shock!!
Only symptoms were painful & tingling BBs but they are normally painful straight after OV until AF arrives and last week I was in a seriously foul mood with everything & everyone but I put it down to the clomid.
Just hope it's a sticky one, don't give up hope....there's obvs a reason why they give us 6+ rounds x

KP86 · 02/04/2017 09:29

Accidental it's good to see that if you don't DTD every day you're still in with a chance!

I really am pleased for you.

KP86 · 02/04/2017 09:32

Ooh, just checked my OPK from this morning (done about 30-40 mins ago) and it's a def positive. Heaps darker than yesterday, when it was about half the strength of control.

DTD last night and will again today.

Clomid anyone else?
Ktmp · 02/04/2017 12:04

I'm now day 16 and still just showing as high.
First round of Clomid 50mg and I had a really dark opk on day 18 so hoping that's what is happening.
Good luck kp!

KP86 · 02/04/2017 14:48

KTMP, I always OV'ed around day 18-19 on clomid, then had a 5 week(ish) cycle.

I'm now at CD28 of a non-clomid cycle. I have been having low pelvic cramps on the right hand side, sort of like a dull ache, for a couple of days on and off which makes me think it could be OV pain? I've never had it before this year.

penguinsandotters · 02/04/2017 19:27

KP86 does clomid extend your cycle ? I have regular cycles 27-30 days. Im on my first cycle of clomid 100mg. Today is CD28 and no AF and BFN. Hoping AF will arrive quickly so I can get on with next cycle.

Ktmp · 02/04/2017 19:28

I've felt that before KP but never sure if it's just me symptom spotting and playing tricks on myself. Getting to the point where I'm convinced I'm still not ovulating as I'm doing everything else. Really need to see a peak soon - the ivf referral appointment is hanging over me.

Ktmp · 02/04/2017 19:30

Penguins - mine did extend to a more regular length cycle on Clomid (previously between 10 and 14 day cycles). But my longest cycle (65 days) was on the gap in between me taking 50mg and waiting to start 100mg!

KP86 · 02/04/2017 20:03

My cycles have been 5-6 weeks since they returned after DS was around eight months old. Longest around 44 days IIRC, and of course that was when I was waiting to start my current rounds of Clomid.

Before DS pregnancy I was on the pill for a long time and between stopping that and starting Clomid I had two 'natural' cycles in eight months! But I have always been all over the place. Thanks, dodgy hormones.

penguinsandotters · 02/04/2017 21:10

Just having a quick google and apparently it's quite common for clomid to extend your cycles. The 2WW was bad enough but now I might have to wait another week! When did you get your BFP on clomid ie what DPO or CD? thanks!

Ktmp · 02/04/2017 21:18

I have Depo to thank for my messed up hormones. Couldn't have the pill (combined or progesterone only) due to health issues. Will honestly never touch it again.

KP86 · 02/04/2017 21:25

My BFP was CD31, which was put back to CD26 at my first scan, when I was dated 5 days earlier than LMP.

I know I tested on CD28 and it was BFN but I can't remember if I tested on CD30. Wow, seems like not that long ago yet my memory sucks.

accidentalgrownup · 02/04/2017 21:43

My BFP was CD32, can't be sure when I ov'd but around CD21 I think. It made my cycles shorter mine were anywhere in between 35 - 54 days and when I had follicle tracking I didn't OV until about CD28. It's so confusing!!!

penguinsandotters · 02/04/2017 21:49

thanks KP86 and accidental It's useful to know as I'm hoping against hope that I get a BFP later in the week but am on such a emotional rollercoaster I'm feeling a bit mad! I thought we were out as progesterone was on the lower side (25) and BFN x 2 and have been psyching myself up for the next cycle but now I'm holding out hope that clomid has extended my cycle and I ovulated later therefore getting a later BFP. I'm not even sure if I'm making sense anymore! Sorry!

Footy1 · 02/04/2017 22:28

Good luck penguin.fingers crossed for a bfp in a few days. Yes clomid has extended my cycles and shortened them. It's very temperamental.

Cd8 here, nothing to report except major hot flashes at night. No cramps as of yet.

penguinsandotters · 03/04/2017 06:55

Thanks footy still no AF this morning. Don't have any symptoms so no idea what's going on! Trying not to worry about it but it's tough.
How's everyone else ?
