I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Satsooma, I'm assuming your DH has also been tested?

Mine had slightly low sperm motility first time around, and if this cycle doesn't work I'm going to insist he is retested. I think Oxford Online Pharmacy does it fairly cheaply. At least then we will know if we have any chance at all.

I already have DS so wouldn't be eligible for anything more than Clomid (which I got on a private script from Oxford anyway).

satsoooma · 02/03/2017 14:50

Yep, everything is perfectly normal on that end. Just phoned my clinic and they are going to book us an appointment to discuss what is next, but they won't be able to see us for 3-4 weeks.

KP86 · 02/03/2017 15:11

Hopefully that appt won't be needed!

Ktmp · 02/03/2017 20:06

It's ivf next for me apparently. Gynae advised that she'd be referring me for ivf in July if these next 3 rounds of clomid don't work.

bummymummy77 · 02/03/2017 22:43

Tested today. 6 days early. And so it begins. Dh has hidden all the tests but I've overnighted some from Amazon. Grin

KP86 · 03/03/2017 07:36

Bummy, you're funny.

I also tested this morning, still negative. CD31, so I'm well into testing window! I've done really well this time, it's only my third test for the cycle. Helped that we were away from 24-27 so I didn't have the opp then.

Ktmp · 04/03/2017 09:42

Fingers crossed for you KP and bummy!

Day 53 for me and fourth day of 100mg clomid.

Footy1 · 04/03/2017 14:35

Sorry for bfn kp86.

Bummy it is very tempting isn't it to test. I cry at the thought of how much I've spent over the last year on tests. Now I don't test, just wait for AF abs it usually turns up.

I'm cd 23, not sure when I ovulated. But had a tiny bit of blood in cm fingers crossed it's something good happening.

KP86 · 04/03/2017 17:31

Well I wasted (or rather, got news I didn't want from) my Superdrug FRER this morning. Still negative and so I'm assuming I'm out for this month.

You never know until AF shows up, but it's been about two weeks since we last DTD so I'd expect by now to have a positive.

accidentalgrownup · 04/03/2017 18:25

Sorry to hear about your BFN KP....you're not out yet though so fingers crossed for you!

KP86 · 04/03/2017 18:46

Ok, I committed the ultimate sin. I re-checked my FRER from this morning and there is the faintest of faint lines on it. I'm assuming evap, as it's been oh-around-10-hours, but it's definitely given me hope! Not sure which is worse. Thinking I have a chance or that I'm out for the month...

Will try to avoid testing tomorrow as I only have IC left and I imagine it will need a few more days.

Please talk me down.

accidentalgrownup · 04/03/2017 20:55

Eek!! 🤞🏻 How long are your cycles normally?

KP86 · 05/03/2017 07:35

Somewhere around 5-6 weeks. Yesterday was CD32.

KP86 · 05/03/2017 07:58

Negative this morning. {MUST STOP TESTING}

GrinConfusedGrinConfused

Footy1 · 05/03/2017 20:05

Sorry for bfn kp. Maybe if no AF shows in a couple more days then do another.

Have heard of FRER's doing that, but u never know.

KP86 · 05/03/2017 20:32

It's ok, I knew it was an evap. Never look at a test past it's time window!

Sticking to around 5 weeks, I would be due on Wednesday. No symptoms of AF yet, I usually get spotty skin and some brown muck in the 4 or 5 days beforehand.

But my body cannot make up its mind. Cycles have been 44, ~35 (didn't mark 'proper day 1' on calendar), 34 and 35 days since last September.

One other symptom is that I've been snoring like a freight train. Loud enough to wake DH up at night. When I was pregnant before I was a VERY loud snorer, especially towards the end when I was bigger. But I'm thinking it's more likely because I've been very congested lately. In actual fact, I haven't been 100% healthy since before Christmas. It's been one cold/chesty virus after the other.

KP86 · 06/03/2017 17:22

Not pregnant. AF here, earlier than expected but makes sense due to taking clomid earlier.

Feeling a bit sad, DH and I are going to have a talk tonight about what next - do I get more clomid or should we give it a break and maybe accept we are meant to be a one child family? I know one year is not a long time to be trying, but it's been quite stressful for me and I don't know how much more I can take of having falling pregnant always being on my mind, then the 2ww, and constant testing. Plus the pressure to DTD constantly during the fertile window. Eek.

I feel very envious of pregnant women and that's making me sad. I even think I'm not enjoying my son enough, which I need to soak up just in case I don't ever get these years again with another child.

I don't feel done but my body might be telling me otherwise.

bummymummy77 · 06/03/2017 20:35

So sorry kp. I'm out too I think, period due tomorrow and still testing negative (on the SIX tests I've done today Sad)

We're about to have the talk too. I'm 40 soon and I just can't go through this every month anymore.

accidentalgrownup · 10/03/2017 10:01

Did AF arrived bummy? Arrgghhh I've wasted a round of clomid this month...DH is away for a couple of weeks right over OV window, how annoying!!

satsoooma · 10/03/2017 10:17

Oh no accidental, how annoying! How many cycles of clomid have you had so far?

Is there no way you can follow him? Maybe go visit, stay in a hotel on at least one night? I would totally do that for anywhere in the UK/Europe, but then I am getting a bit desperate/crazy, as I only have one more cycle of clomid to take.

accidentalgrownup · 10/03/2017 10:47

Just priced up a flight....£300 & id have to take DD with me. I'm going to see what he thinks tonight. I've only got one more after this too. I did have a look at oxford online pharmacy to get a couple more, did one of you ladies say you'd used them?

satsoooma · 10/03/2017 12:59

Hmm, I'd be comparing that to the price of IVF etc. and thinking it was a pretty good deal. Obviously having to take your DD complicates things though. Could your DH fly back for the weekend?

accidentalgrownup · 10/03/2017 13:30

No, he'd be working during the day unfortunately. I seriously thinking about it Grin

Footy1 · 10/03/2017 13:51

I haven't but think a few did earlier in posts. One got her bfp. I looked at prices online to buy them (before I got them prescribed by my gp) and it costs about £25 for tablets and £25 as it's not on a prescription so they have to do online (few questions) consultation to prescribe it. 2day delivery service. So it's prob cheaper to stay here and get another 2 cycles worth!

Footy1 · 10/03/2017 13:57

So I'm Day 29 and no AF! No cramps.. just tingly boobs. Not even going to bother testing as I'm not sure I ovulated. Was a non-clomid cycle.
