I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Thanks doom...tbh I'm sick of trying to work it out, I think the only way is every 2-3 days all month for me. DH won't believe his luck lol

doomkittycleo · 23/12/2016 19:28

I've decided to switch to the clear blue opk I had in as it's easier to read.

At least that way I can be sure we get he timing as good as can be expected.

doomkittycleo · 24/12/2016 07:34

Guys, the clear blue opk has given me today as my peak, so hopefully if we can BD one or two more times over the next 24 hours we'll have done our best this cycle.

I'm so relieved!

accidentalgrownup · 24/12/2016 08:03

Good luck doom....have fun!! Xmas Smile

jellyella · 24/12/2016 08:42

Good news doom! Get it in (so to speak) before too much food happens!

I called the GPs yesterday for my prog results - apparently it was 115! Taking the result with a pinch of salt as the receptionist was just reading it out over the phone, but if that's the case I definitely ovulated and possibly multiple eggs? I'm staying patient for a couple of days despite the bfn yesterday - AF not due until 26th...

Hope everyone on the thread has a great Christmas.

doomkittycleo · 25/12/2016 11:24

Merry Christmas to all my TTC friends! Xmas Smile

jellyella · 27/12/2016 09:02

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you had a good few days.

Still no AF here, due yesterday but I'm guessing my cycle might be longer on Clomid. I've had mild period-type pain on and off (mainly on) since 24 Dec. Normally I only get period pain as my AF starts. Started to get my hopes up that it might be implantation pain and that my first FRER was too early (23 Dec), so did another one on 26 Dec. But that was a BFN too. I'd really like AF to turn up and let me get on with it - have resisted all booze and soft cheese (except one small glass of fizz) over Christmas, but I'd really like to commiserate with a large Wine and then move on to the next cycle!

Did /does anyone else find Clomid has given them longer cycles? And/or different pre-AF pain?

doomkittycleo · 27/12/2016 09:18

jelly Clomid didn't make my cycle longer last month, but I did notice my af cramps started a little earlier than usual.

My DP and I managed to BD one last time on Christmas Eve, and although I have missed a few days of temping due to poor sleep with a cough, my temp today appears to confirm that I have ovulated.

I do normally get a temperature shift, so whether I have actually released any eggs is yet to be seen. But at least we BD'd EOD as planned (mostly).

I definitely felt stabby pains and pressure coming from both sides on Christmas Eve.

Now I'm just hoping the lack of ewcm on clomid hasn't been the let down.

I thought I saw some Christmas Day, but seeing as it's all I've seen all cycle, it's probably left over swimmers from the night before. (Sorry if TMI).

Clomid anyone else?
Figroller · 27/12/2016 09:45

Hope you all had a good Christmas.

Clomid hasn't affected my cycle length yet Jelly. But I think I have noticed more stabby pains in the ovary area pre AF. Other than that not much difference to usual.

Your chart looks good Doom. We tried conceive plus this cycle because I've had the same problem on clomid with ewcm.

I'm due AF in next couple of days. Don't think I will test unless I get to Friday and no sign. No different symptoms from usual.

doomkittycleo · 27/12/2016 10:52

Thanks Fig I'm going to try and relax and not think too much now as I've only just started the 2ww.

I'd agree to not testing until af is late.

Here's to hoping we get some new year BFP's!!!!

Figroller · 27/12/2016 12:39

I really hope so too Doom Smile

AF arrived for me today. Looks like it's back on the clomid..

Hope everyone else is OK Smile

jellyella · 30/12/2016 12:36

Me too fig, onto the next!

accidentalgrownup · 30/12/2016 16:15

What number cycle are you on fig & jelly? I'm only on CD15 but used 3 cycles so far (3 left).

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/12/2016 18:00

Fig, AF also turned up for me today so starting 100mg clomid tomorrow. Hoping to not over stimulate this time! Lucky round number 9??!

Figroller · 30/12/2016 18:03

That was my 4th cycle but the first two at 50 and 100 mg didn't work. I only have enough for one more cycle. I need to ring them to see if I can have another prescription. I'm not sure if they allow 6 cycles in total or 6 cycles once you respond to the clomid?

I really got my hopes up this time as AF was a couple of days late. But I think I ovulated later this time.

Figroller · 30/12/2016 18:05

Good luck Boggle. Is this your ninth cycle on clomid or ttc?

YouBoggleMyMind · 30/12/2016 18:17

9th cycle with clomid. I go from no response to over response and then back again... it's frustrating. Was on 150mg last time. Got 2 more rounds at 100mg. Then I guess it's IVF.
