Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Well AF started this morning, red flow of blood so I'm guessing that is my cd1 of new cycle.
Oddly, my temp is still really high 36.70 ?? Had 15 high temps above 36.65 Never has it stayed high for this long and esp when AF starts. I usually decline for a few days? Been on Google and nothing really explains it other than a chemical preg, or pregnancy, cyst or a high amount of progesterone is still lingering. I did an IC yesterday which was bfn. Will see if it drops tomorrow I guess?

Agree Malbec there's prob nothing you did different just luck I guess?!

It was getting there this morning, not quite positive, but 2 lines, 1 not as dark as the other. Had loads of ovulation pains today, but started with a stinking cold. Hope I can persuade DP that I'm not too ill to BD

It's getting really hard to pinpoint ovulation. I'm getting loads of ovulation pains on both sides, but opk is still negative. Don't wanna push DP today seeing as I have a cold unless it's worth it 😕.

I had loads of pains in the few days before I ovulated Doom. Try not to stress too much and just keep up the eod dtd and you should be covered

Will you be starting your next round of clomid tomorrow then Footy? Maybe the clomid has affected your temp. How long was your cycle in the end?

Fig eod would mean doing it today, but not really feeling up to it 😞

Think it's the end of the road for me. Started bleeding this morning, I have a scan on Wednesday to see if it's all over or if there is still a chance. I'm thinking the worst!

Going to try and stay off here for a while and relax at home and clear my tonsillitis!! Feeling so run down x

Oh no Littlefox, but please don't give up hope. I believe bleeding is more common with twins. I really hope you have a good outcome on Wednesday. Rest up and take care of yourself.

No Fig, I just went to bed last night, felt rotten. I am going to try again tomorrow. Think opk will be positive later today. It was almost dark enough to be a positive this morning.

Just hope DP is feeling up to it later.

Just wanted to share a brief message in the hope that it gives some of you a bit of hope.

I struggled to get pregnant for nearly 4 years. After being continually fobbed off by doctors, I finally got to see a consultant early this year and was prescribed Clomid for 6 months. After 5 months it had not worked and I was very low. Then guess what....it worked in our last try. I am now 6 months pregnant and life feels so very different to all those sad times I had TTC. If its of any help, in that last month, I had stopped using OPKs as I knew my fertile time, went on holiday and drank loads of wine with my husband, let go of it all, and it did the trick!

I know everyone tells you the more relaxed you are, the more likely it is. That advice used to really annoy me - its impossible to force yourself to chill out! But hopefully you get your good news soon.

Hi guys, what do you think? This is my opk from this morning (that's the darkest it's been so far this cycle), this afternoon the second line was lighter again. I know it's perhaps because the one in the picture was FMU.

We managed to BD again this evening and I'm still having quite a few ovulation pains.

Can't rely on my temps for the past couple of days cus I've had a cold and have been feverish the night before last and didn't sleep well last night.

Also I don't usually check my cervix as it always seems low hard and closed, checked it today because I thought maybe I don't usually ovulate, but maybe this time I would because I've had more ovulation pains than usual. Anyway, it still feels low closed and hard.

I'm CD13 today, last cycle got +ve opk on CD13/14. In previous cycles before clomid I usually get a positive opk on CD15-19.

Just trying to figure out if I'm close to ovulation as we have BD'd quite a bit so far this month and I'm worrying about how long we can keep it up.

That's quite way off being positive to be honest. If your cervix is closed too I really doubt that you're ovulating yet. It's a biological change to allow the sperm to enter your cervix. Sorry, hopefully you'll ovulate soon. Must be really frustrating not knowing what's going on.

As I said a few pages ago Malbec my cervix hasn't moved in 2 years of trying.

Wish I knew what the hell was going on with my body. I've had ovulation pains all week, sore boobs, the opk this morning is lighter than yesterday, but it was even lighter the day before.

Getting fed up of BDing now. I know DP is usually the one who needs a bit of persuading, but I'm just losing motivation.

Feels like I have massive follicles on both sides, but nothing else is moving. 😢

Yeah exactly, so at this point in time I would say that you're not ovulating, seemingly like you weren't pre clomid. I'm not trying to be harsh, I'm just responding to the question you asked.

Sorry crossed post. When are you due back at the clinic? I think you really need to push for scans so they can see what's going on. Maybe you're making follicles but they just aren't popping out?

Not due back until the 19th January 😕. I know what my body is supposed to do, I really Toni Welchers book from cover to cover. It's just that for the first time ever, I'm feeling much bigger ovulation pains, and on both sides.

I know we don't think I normally ovulate because that's what the drs said, but as my temps always rise in sync with ewcm and positive opk, this second clomid cycle is confusing me so much.

Last cycle it went from the picture I showed you, to like yours from morning to afternoon, that's why I thought it might have become positive later that day, but it didn't.

And sorry to you too doom - that sound really frustrating. Are you having cd21 blood tests with Clomid?

My update - I gave in and tested this morning with a FRER - bfn unfortunately. So (barring any christmas miracles!) it'll probably be on to Clomid cycle 2 for me shortly. The cycle has felt a bit different - more Ov pain and twinges on both sides. I think we BD at the right times, and had two positive OPKs - one on the way up and the way down I guess. I had my cd21 bloods on Mon but haven't yet rang for the results - will do so later today.

Sorry to hear that Jelly, they haven't done any day 21 bloods on clomid. They said to do 3 months first and if no success, then they'll monitor me closer.

I was prescribed the clomid in August, but told them I wouldn't start it until November because we were moving house.

Haven't seen my dr since then.

Sounds like me Doom on my first two rounds. I was scanned and even had 3 mature follicles on 100 mg which felt really heavy and i had all the pains, the follicles had even ruptured at the next scan. But blood test showed I didn't ovulate. I only ovulated on 150mg. You may just need the higher dose.

They won't be able to let me know what's been happening until after my appointment at the end of Jan. I'm really hoping I will ovulate in the next few days.

I couldn't bear it if I have to do another cycle of 100mg and it still doesn't work. I'm only on CD14 today.

Quick question ladies.... just checking back on my tracker app and I had ewcm on CD8 last month and same today (CD8 too). Had a 32 day cycle though so is that even possible to be ovulating that early?

Pre clomid I ovulated around CD21 so I'm a bit confused, have we been BDing at the wrong time?

I've got opks on order but doubt they'll come anytime soon with Christmas etc

accidental, I got ewcm on CD5 only on my first month of clomid 50mg. Now I'm on cycle 2 100mg and haven't had any at all.

It could be that your body is gearing up to ovulate, but it might not actually happen until later in your cycle. I'd BD now and later as well to cover all your bases (if possible)
