Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Every doctor/ midwife I've spoken to about it says everyday is too much. The advice I've always been given is every other day.

Temp rocketed today to 36.80 that's hot hot hot! Spotting stopped? Weird!

I've always been told every other day as well Bummy. I was just thinking of trying something different. Think my dh would prefer every other day anyway.

What cd are you on now Footy? How long do you wait before you take the drugs to bring on AF, sorry I can't remember what they are called?

I have a completely blank opk today but still have ovulation pains. Not sure now, just hope I ovulate. I think this cycle is probably ruined anyway because of the thrush. I went and spoke to the pharmacist today and she suggested eating lots of natural yoghurt. I think I am close to ovulation so don't really want to use any treatment that could affect my cm.

Good point. Every other day hasn't worked for the last 2.5 years....

Same Bummy.. But then we have tried every day some cycles as well and that didn't work either.

Im cd 29fig. My temps are up in the L/phase still so don't think AF coming yet
If I go by the last temp spike I'd be 8dpo. Today temp was 36.70, no more spotting since 5&6dpo. Few odd pains in lower abdo yesterday. My cycle has been an unpredictable one so God knows what's going on. On paper it honestly looks like I've ovulated twice in one month but might just be clomid messing up the temps.
The AF pills are norethisterone but was told to take if I get to cd35 and temp low with a negative hcg.

11dpo and in total shock. I've been spotting since 7dpo and I was convinced AF would arrive today so when it didn't I tested. I'd already pushed for a consultant appointment tomorrow because I was so sure clomid hadn't helped my LP. Crazy. Will catch up with the above in a bit!xx

Did u have any symptoms Malbec other than the spotting? Did you temps stay high?

Thank you. I'm not getting too excited yet. I don't temp so I don't know. Main symptom has been awful insomnia and I had that with my son as well! Other than that it's a total shock and I've just stocked up on Christmas wine!!!!

Thanks. Yeah it dropped from 53 on Friday to 35 on Monday and I was spotting so I had totally ruled myself out. I'm still not really daring to dream. I have a consultant appointment tomorrow when I was going to beg for progesterone so think I might still go and see what he says. It's such a rollercoaster!

I've nothing exciting to report....still at least 3 days left of my mega looonngggg cycle, was hoping clomid might shorten them but it hasn't.

I've been off the thread for a bit but am 2dpo on my first Clomid cycle. I took it at just before bed and main side effects seemed to be hot flushes. Fingers crossed now!

Thank you, I really hope so too. I'll keep my eye on all of you! I've got my first scan booked with the clinic. 3 weeks on Monday so not too long to wait at all, keep everything crossed it all works out!

Will definitely have everything crossed for you Malbec. Glad you don't have long to wait for a scan. Did you have more than one follicle I can't remember?

Cd13 for me having some serious ovulation pains. Done an opk which was nearly positive.

I'm out this month....AF arrived this afternoon which means my cycle has shorten by a couple of days and we missed DTD on ovulation day!!
Clomid cycle 3 starting tomorrow, going to start temping I think so would be grateful of any advice pls

So sorry accidental, I temped with DS, you know it only confirms when you've ovulated and doesn't really give you any indication that you're about to ovulate? You're best using OPKs for advance warning!

Do you get egg white mucous accidental?

Ah no I didn't know that malbec....no point then as I def ovulate! I read you can have false positives when using OPKs with PCOS and when I've tried I always get a faint line.

I used to get it bummymummy but since taking clomid I haven't. I'm running out of ideas....

You do always get some kind of faint line on them accidental because we always have some level of LH in our system. But I have heard PCOS can affect the results in general. Might be worth just getting some cheapies and see what happens around ovulation? Obviously the best thing to do is just have lots of sex. We did every other day from when AF stopped and then Thursday, Saturday and Sunday and I ovulated on Saturday or Sunday (follicle was there on Friday and gone on Monday morning). It's such a hard game. I'm so envious of people who just get pregnant no hassle and never have to worry about this kind of thing

I didn't have any EWCM this cycle on clomid, where as I normal have loads so it didn't make a difference to me!
