Clomid anyone else?

I'm on 2nd cycle of clomid (50mg CD2-6) and am on CD7 now - anyone else out there the same?!

Af has just arrived this morning 😟 Onto 100mg clomid tomorrow.

Malbec hope AF doesn't arrive for you. How do u feel? Any symptoms?

Still no AF! Really fed up as I don't know what is going on. Had another dip and then a rise so whether I ovulated late I have no idea. Adjusted my chart to see? If nothing happens in 14 days time then I'll bring on AF with the pills again.

Why can't it be simple?

Just normal progesterone symptoms for me so far. It's way too early for anything pregnancy related anyway! I don't really feel very confident this cycle anyway. I just keep expecting that I'll start spotting in a few days

The Dr prescribed 50mg for the first cycle to see how my body tolerated it, but said if it doesn't work I needed to take 100mg.

My luteal phase was not particularly short. Usually 13-14 days, it was 15 days this month.

Your are in with a chance Malbec so try and stay positive, hope the spotting stays away for you. When will you get your results from the blood tests?

How confusing Footy, it's such a shame you're not being monitored. It must be hard being in limbo all the time.

Took my last dose of clomid yesterday. Side effects have calmed down now although I have thrush again! Has anybody else had it since taking clomid? Since I started I have had it 3 times. I've only had it once in my whole life before so I can only assume the closed is causing it. Not ideal when you are on a ttc marathon!

Hi fig, this cycle I had hardly any cm and my gynae warned that thrush and water infections are common taking it as it dries you up hence causing more friction when dtd. Really annoying for you though.
Maybe try pre- seed when it clears up, it may prevent it next time.

Malbec yes had positive opks last week and again today. EWCM also.. Temps show lots of fluctuations so think body gears up but fails. Not sure what I can really do..

Doom good news though that u are ovulating on it? I wish I was. Tempted to up my own dose to 150g which would leave me a cycle short - just to see if it makes me ovulate.

Footy, I don't even know if I have ovulated. Haven't had any scans and was already getting regular positive opk's and af's even though day 21 bloods show that I wasn't ovulating.

Thanks for the advice footy I will order some, worth a try and need to order opks anyway.

I have taken my first clomid tablet for cycle 2 today. I'm more nervous this time than last month.

The thought of going on a BD mission again is actually pretty stressful.

I really wish DP would take the lead on the BD more. Feel like an evil sex fiend trying to capture him lol.

Doom I don't get any AF at all when I don't ovulate. Really frustrating as when it's not arrived I get my hopes up. I still don't think I've ovulated as not much happening here. Do u temp? Do u see a rise in temps?

Think I'm going to go for the 150g next cycle if I def don't ovulate. Or to have a couple months off and try to get things working properly. It's quite late in the cycle now so don't think the clomid worked. I'm so fed up.

Yes footy I do temp and always get a rise around when I expect to ovulate. It matches up perfectly with ewcm as well. No ewcm on clomid so far tho. Think I geared up to ovulate really early at CD5, and had a little ewcm then, but only got temp rise and positive opk on CD14.

On a normal cycle I usually get signs of ovulation around CD17-19.

Doom were your progesterone tests done 7 days after you ovulated?! It sounds like you get all the signs that you actually are ovulating?

Are you still in limbo then Footy? So frustrating.

The thrush sounds unpleasant Fig. I didn't have any ewcm this month and I normally have loads. So that must be clomid.

I started spotting yesterday at 7dpo so looks like clomid hasn't made any difference to my LP. I went to the clinic after my blood tests this morning and they said there are other things I can try but I have to wait for the blood results before I can get a doctors appointment. So I have to ring tomorrow morning. Such a long process 😭😭

yes Malbec, They were both 7PO, but Gynaecologist insisted I was not ovulating.

I think maybe I just wasn't having a good quality ovulation.

Either way I don't know if I ovulated or not on the 50mg. Got an appointment for a review in January if not got BFP by then.

What were your numbers? Yeah hopefully they track you if you're not pregnant by then. Is DH up for more sex this month?

I can't remember the numbers now, it was back in July/August.

I don't know if he's up for BD yet. Still waiting for AF to end.

Does sound like you have been ovulating if u get your period regular doom, but like u say maybe the quality of ovulation is not enough to class it as?

I started spotting this morning at cd27 relieved in a way that something might b happening at least. Obviously would rather a BFP but if I get a first natural AF this time I think I may have ovulated which will be a bit of relief. Still in limbo a bit though as its only mild old blood spotting mixed in cm so I can't really say if AF will start or not? Cervix is high?! And temp is 36.54 today. Not screaming AF with those results, so who knows? Grrr so frustrating waiting around.

Sorry Malbec that u are spotting at 7dpo. Have you tried Angus castus and vitamin b complex? Can't remember if I asked u before? That's suppose to b good for lengthening lp.

Slightly spotting this morning (seems on and off) but temp is going up? 36.77 today? Not sure what is happening. Thought is was cd27 yesterday but just realised on my chart I'm cd27 today?

I wouldn't recommend b complex personally. I took it last summer and felt really lethargic and dizzy on it. No idea why, but felt fine after stopping.

I just usually spot on and off until AF arrives Footy. Hopefully you'll know either way soon. What day did you get your positive opk?

I have tried b6 but it made things even worse to be honest! Agnus castus is just meant to be a natural version of clomid so I doubt it'll work if the real thing doesn't! I'll be getting my progesterone results back today anyway so that should give me an idea what's going on!

I'm on cd 10, starting to get ovulation cramps and had some more hot flushes today. Last month I ov'd on cd13. Starting to wonder if i should have used opks as I'm not being monitored this month so not entirely sure what's going on in there. I am going to suggest trying every day rather than every other day dtd and see if dh is up for it .

I'm doing ok Fig, thanks. I'm on my 3rd day of 100mg. No headaches this month, but I do have hot flashes this time.

Malbec Opks seem to be mostly positive the whole cycle but had a two very dark ones - one was 7 days ago and the other was 14 days ago. My cervix is high and soft still? I'm just going with the flow now and what will be will be. Spotting on and off - still just browny cm. Hope you got good blood results.

Doom I was lucky to escape the hot flashes this cycle!! Had them last cycle. Few headaches this time and sore boobs.

Fig* hope you catch the egg and that DH is up for every day! My DH gets too tired so I'm lucky if i get every other day. I'm off limits for a few days as want to see what is going on.

My dh struggles with every day too Footy, but I'm going to make sure we give it a good try this time. He just doesn't know it yet.
