We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

Yeah trixie, I said 'excited' but I knew if it were me I'd be sh**ing it! Try and stay as calm as you can. Day 18 sounds OK to me for a 5 day blast. Do you have to trigger or is the next step literally to just pop it back in?

Boris! I lurked on the pregnancy thread a little while ago and think you're about due aren't you? Hope everything is going well! I can't believe I'm still here stuck at the starting blocks and you've cooked a whole baby in that time! (Don't worry, I'm much more happy for you than envious - I know what we're all going through to get there)

You're right Star! I need to keep calm and stop thinking about all the reasons it might not work. This could be the one and if it's not we'll keep going. I stop my cetrotide today and start the progesterone then they just pop them back in on Friday. Nice not having to worry about having to time a trigger. Getting closer to your cycle now

Great that they are keeping a close eye on you Hope. Do you have an EC date now?

Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing ok!

I am going in for EC tomorrow! Did my trigger shot last night. At yesterdays scan i had 6 follicles between 19/20mm with another 5 at 16mm ish which they said might grow a bit more by tomorrow, lining is at 13mm so i'm good to go! I am so so nervous!

I had the iui today - last one! DHs sample was the best one so far - 1st was 12mil, 2nd was 15mil and today was 30mil! Also told my boss today when we had a catch up - she was so supportive and feel like I have a massive weight lifted off my shoulders. She said to take as much time off as I need. So feeling more positive moving forward to IVF next year

Thats a massive improvement Maple. Good luck! I told my boss about my treatment too and he was the same re time off.
Intralipids were fine thanks. I had them last cycle so knew what to expect. Hopefully there is enough time for them to kick in before transfer on Friday.

Good luck for EC Hope! Try not to worry. I was really nervous first time but one minute you're awake and the next you're coming round.

How are you getting on Bean? When is OTD?

Weds trixie. Tested this am and bfn at 7dp5dt. I know it could change but I doubt it. Feeling pretty upset about it all.

maple glad the iui went well, that is a great improvement, fingers crossed for you! Thats great about yr boss too, it really makes a difference, my boss has been very good too.

I'm sorry Bean. Like you say it could change. I spent far too much time googling bfn various days post transfer then bfp last cycle and it definitely happens. I'm sure Lucie got a bfn before her bfp. It's just horrible when you're in that limbo though.

EC all done, 9 eggs collected and a good amount of sperm to do ICSI with so now we wait to see how many make it over night, its a nerve wracking time! I was knocked out for the procedure but in quite a bit of pain now, just trying to rest up!

trixie it will be lovely to have a 2ww buddy!

Star I'm only one day in haha, it's going to be a long tww (as they all are). Not got anything in particular to keep me busy but probably ought to! The 30mil was post wash but they only inseminate with 0.5ml (not sure why) so I had 15mil stuck up there. Also asked about the IVF waiting and the nurse said they are hoping on getting it down to 4 months in the new year - so I'm hoping around April time I will get to start! (Can you tell I've already written off this iui!).

How are you doing? I know you haven't started yet but wedding planning must be what's taking up most of your time at the moment! When is the big day again?

Yep first call tomorrow morning, hopefully they will ring fairly early and not leave me hanging too long! X

Had our phone call and of our 9 eggs 7 fertilised! Really pleased with that, looking at friday or sunday for transfer, will get a call friday.
Feeling really rough today so still resting in bed xxx

No we won't hear from them till Friday now, i think they said that tomorrow is a rest day for them!
