We have relocated from the conception board where we were previously chatting under the thread 'ttc for 10 months or more'. A lot of us are now long term ttc-ers and are going through infertility treatment or looking to take steps in this direction so we feel this might be a more suitable home for us!

MPP, I'm ok thanks. I have lots of pulling sensations and am sooo hungry all the time! I'm starting to wonder if maybe I didn't know my body as well as I thought and there is actually something going on in there?! I will test again tomorrow. Good luck with your testing too. Hope everything is ok with you?

Ooooh, exciting Lucie!! I hope you didnt know yourself as well as you thought haha!! All is ok with me. Cramps were gone this morning, but I have another very mild headache and I cant help but think its the time of month I usually get them, before AF. My feelings are so torn about testing tomorrow. On one hand, I cant wait, but on the other I think I'll be so gutted to see a bfn and know this chance is probably over. I'm going to do it though. Two frers ready and waiting!

Yes crossing my fingers for a late implanter but who knows! The majority of ladies do get a bfp by 7dp5dt but if you don't then don't be disheartened just try again in a couple of days. I normally like to start really early as I need to see the odd bfn as it kind of gets my head ready for the fact it might not have worked but still a bit of a chance there. I don't think I could leave it really late like some ladies and it's just yes or no and it's all over although I know that probably makes no sense at all!

Friends, really sorry for AF Take care of yourself and not long now till your appointment in September.

I was feeling slightly hopeful yesterday at 10dpo I had sharp pains in my lower left abdomen all afternoon and into the evening. All symptoms completely gone today though so I'm just waiting for my period on Monday/Tuesday and will know for sure that clomid can't work for us.

Yes Lucie, I dont think I could leave it til late either. OTD is next Saturday! I'd be going crazy well before then!

So I've just been to the doctors worried i had a uti (I don't) and the doctor was really nice but he said something which I thought was totally insensitive!!

I told him I had IUI done on Monday and when he did the dip test for uti etc he goes "your pregnant". I just laughed and said "no" because obviously I'm only 4dpiui.

Imagine if I was later though and believed him!!

Honestly first my friend yesterday and now the doctors - talk about being kicked while you're already down!

Grr, maple that is so annoying! What was he thinking? You'd think a doctor would know better!

Me and DH have been TTC for 5 years, referred to hosp in Jan 2013, lots of waiting lists, numerous tests and we still have unexplained infertility .

We've had one cancelled IUI as we had too many mature follicles, this, our second, IUI cycle has gone on for what feels like forever (today is day 27), yesterday's scan showed 2 decent follicles and a thicker lining so I had my booster shot last night and tomorrow is IUI day! Then I guess it's the TWW. I could really do with some hand holding and positive thoughts (plus some what to dos/what not to dos!). Feeling scared but excited!

I've felt okay actually, you start to get use to it don't you. I've had bit of a cry on the dog, a huge coffee, a cake and now I'm enjoying some wine guilt free, small mercy's hey.

Maple, My goodness, you should of told him to look up empathy in the dictionary. Idiot! Not sure what happened with your friend but i'm in similar a situation, I'm trying to tell myself that i'm just very sensitive at the minute. Keep your chin up.

Thanks for the good luck wishes guys! I'm not feeling very positive as I've had a few more of my usual af symptoms (pms and, ahem, being a bit 'blocked') to go along with my usual pre-af headaches. Still quite confused as I thought they were mostly progesterone related, but I'm on 800mg a day of utrogestan and I thought that would stop some of them. I guess we'll see in the morning.

MPP they are also all pregnancy symptoms! I'm convinced you will be getting your bfp tomorrow. Will be checking in all morning!

Thanks guys - so bloody heartless of him! Off to a BBQ with friends today... I always get the fear that someone might ask me about having children and I know I'll be on edge the whole time - hate how this can take away fun in things!
