If so, please join the club. Let's keep each other going!

In our case, we're going abroad for ours - Norway. What about you?

Kwik- how are you holding up? I hope you are ok!! take care

goinggrey1978 · 25/04/2016 05:03

Everhopeful76, had my first episode of dry heaving because of a smell yesterday I wasn't impressed what so ever! Just bubble letting me know it's there i suppose, only reason I didn't throw up is there was nothing to throw up!! I'm still under investigation for these constant runs, waiting for results! My dad phoned me and asked if I needed anything, I think I was grumpy with him as he woke me up!

Everhopeful76 · 25/04/2016 19:21

ah!! I have found washing powder and fabric conditioner make me wretch.Cant sort the task without a clothes peg on my nose.
I hope they can sort the constant runs, soonest x

Now I have a stomach bug goinggrey. There seems to b a lot of bugs about around my way. Lucky I haven't got the pregnancy and bug symptoms completely fused else that would not b a good situation. The nausea feels completely separate. Have downed so much water since last night to stop too much dehydration

goinggrey1978 · 26/04/2016 11:08

Everhopeful76, I swear I messaged you yesterday, but seeing as it was on my phone, somehow didn't work, my lovely brother in law is bringing me some food, got to wait for results on Wednesday, had a rollercoaster day yesterday, all over the place again, slept a lot more than usual last night, and that's what ibd nurse said to do, sleep as much as I can, and try to eat a little bit more each time

goinggrey1978 · 26/04/2016 11:10

Yes my nausea is regular, been sucking boiled sweets!! Bubble had Ritz crackers for breakfast too!!

Everhopeful76 · 26/04/2016 12:45

Am a carb and sugar queen and have not eaten like this in ages.
Boiled sweets are a good idea. I've been liking ginger beer, ginger biscuits (these are probably the best nausea reducer-for me anyway), cola bottles, and everything else has been toast, sandwiches and potatoes. Cant stand cooked veg at all

Kwick709 · 26/04/2016 17:18

LOL ever on clothes peg! Sorry probs not that funny.
You know I had so few symptoms. It is a week today since I found out my baby died. Sad

Everhopeful76 · 26/04/2016 17:42

Well Kwik to everyone else it looked funny hehe, but cant deal with soap powder smells at all

I know its been a week, am so sorry. Have you had lots of friends around you physically for support? I hope you have not been in too much physical pain with the miscarriage. Have you any ideas what is next or is that too early a question?

I think some people do have few symptoms and others have masses, but with either things can go wrong. I hope its a comfort to know IVF treatment did work and may encourage you to try again. Take it easy and keep in touch

Kwick709 · 26/04/2016 18:16

Been mostly alone. I got an amazeballs hug from nephew on Sunday. My mum was great too.
I am seeing consultant tomorrow to discuss next steps - maybe natural ivf this time.
You have a great excuse to stay away from laundry :)

goinggrey1978 · 26/04/2016 19:19

sorry to hear you've been alone kwick709, anytime you need a chat, i'm about!
everhopeful76, can't remember if i asked you this but what medication are you on?? or were you on in the beginning after the 2 week wait and do you have to continue them all to 12 weeks now you've had your early scan??

Kwick709 · 26/04/2016 19:40

Thanks goinggrey I do not mind being by myself - I have lots of texts and so on and lovely MN messages.
Defrosted chinese did not taste right... Another day of dodgy stomach to look forward too! Great!

SparrowSG · 27/04/2016 14:25

Hi all,

Kwick have been thinking of you and glad that you are seeing the consultant tomorrow and thinking about a 'next time'.

Ever and goinggrey I hope your stomach situations improve! Nothing like the runs to make you feel even more drained...

I had my first early scan last Friday, all looking good so far and we even saw a little flickering heartbeat on the screen. It was all a bit surreal really and we are continuing on as normal as of course we are very much still in the danger zone.

Apart from sore boobs and tiredness I am luckily pretty sympton free, although I do seem to be really worn out easily. Just went for a quick walk to the supermarket to get lunch and felt like I'd run there by the time I was home, plus had a bit of the shakes! Will make sure I eat first before attempting that again.

I am booked in for another scan on the 13th May and hopefully then I can stop the progesterone. I'm off the steriods now and cut down on the estrogen which I also stop this weekend.

Kwick709 · 28/04/2016 08:22

sparrow great news on your scan :)

I had a chat with the consultant and will go forward with natural IVF - from second AF. She also prescribed me with DHEA. I am pleased to have a plan... Frustrated that it will take so long but need to give body some recovery time,

Everhopeful76 · 28/04/2016 18:30

Kwik- am glad your appt with Consultant was positive and you can do natural IVF . Also good to try DHEA. I was on that for almost 4months prior to IVF, as well as COQ10. although didn't get loads of eggs, I think it could have improved the quality of them. You will feel much better physically for not having high dose drugs. The time will roll round quick, I guess your still waiting for your 1st AF?? Hooray for amazeballs hugs, how old is your nephew??

Goingrey - so sorry thought Id replied. I am drug and pessary free, stopped the cyclogest last weekend, so did take them for 8 weeks, but at my request as was feeling neurotic about womb lining. My clinic don't generally want people on pessaries after the 2ww. How are you doing today?

Congrats Sparrow, its good to see the little flickering heartbeart isn't it, was this at 6 or 7 weeks for you?. Take it easy on the walking. I tried yoga yesterday and had a massive dizzy spell so felt was maybe a little too much even tho the class was pretty basic. I need a yoga class that involves laying on the floor or seated postures, standing up was too giddy

Kwick709 · 28/04/2016 22:13

everhopeful you should try yin yoga - mainly floor work, very slow and gentle yet intense as you hold poses between 4-5 minutes.

My nephew is 10, nearly 11 but still my little boy - we actually used to call him LB for short - but now he insists we call him MB (medium boy). He is just such a sweetie and the best hugger ever :)

goinggrey1978 · 30/04/2016 08:56

Hi everyone, gp signed me off worka again on Thursday, as I'm so weak, still can't drive, stand up for long periods of time, had a bit of spotting before I went to see her, stopped as soon as it started really, scary, woke up to spotting again this morning, did all ivf medications, the applicator I have to use, didn't have as much on it, as I thought there'd be, resting after a hot flush

goinggrey1978 · 01/05/2016 16:59

Hi everyone, guessing your all enjoying the extra day off and enjoying the sunshine with friends and family! I just wondered how you are all feeling and what funny symptoms I have to look forward to!! I've been gagging on some of my medication as it tastes nasty and had some indigestion as well!!

Kwick709 · 01/05/2016 17:44

goinggrey sorry to hear you are not well. What meds are you on?

goinggrey1978 · 02/05/2016 10:14

hi kwick709, i'm on progynova and now u something capsules, folic acid and vitamin d till my scan, how are you doing?? my memory is really bad, i can't remember where you are in your cycle i'm sorry

Kwick709 · 02/05/2016 11:12

I have no idea where I am in my cycle... I am still bleeding from op... But not much. Someone on another thread recommended using pregnancy tests to check to see once HCG gone - this is the the WTF cycle.. Could be up to 6 weeks for next AF.

TinySalmon · 03/05/2016 08:27

Hi ladies, haven't posted on here for a while. How is everyone doing?

Had the scare of my life at the weekend when I found a reasonable amount of fresh blood in my knickers. To make things worse I was abroad visiting a girl friend of mine in Switzerland so didn't have DP around. I was on my own in a foreign country.

Rang DP in tears who then paid an arm and leg to change me to an earlier flight and spent most of Sunday evening at A&E and then again Monday morning. Was finally seen by the ob-gen on call who gave me a scan and for the first time we saw our little bean with a heartbeat!

Was bleeding a little last night but reassured from the scan. Now to postpone my early scan at the fertility clinic that was due today! There would have been no way I could have waited till this afternoon to get an answer!!

Not much by way of symptoms - some nausea in the afternoons and evenings and very sore nipples, but that's it!

goinggrey1978 · 03/05/2016 13:27

Tinysalmon, since I had 2 lots of spotting Thursday and Saturday, I've had less nausea, lots of indigestion, pressure on my pelvic bone, cravings for things, Extremely tired, slept most of yesterday and still slept at night time and my stomach feels in the way at times, hopefully my bubble is all fine, I spoke to a very good an old friend on Saturday, and she explained spotting can happen and what types are alright, so I was really reassured, she spent a long time explaining how worrying it is, but that I'll be fine, she has her lovely son from her 2nd ivf attempt also!

Everhopeful76 · 03/05/2016 16:33

Hi!!
Am now 9.5 weeks pregnant and have found that the constant nausea is no longer present but when I have the same symptoms they are more intense. Will get a period of nausea and then be sick and then it clears it for a few hours. Somehow this is more manageable than constant dull nausea. I have had dizzy spells, some indigestion but not bad and a pressing sensation on abdomen but I can get days where no strong symptoms- so this makes me quite anxious.
I have had no spotting or bleeding, so I can only imagine how worrying this is tinysalmon and goinggrey but it seems that you are reassured, hope it stays that way for you.
I am going abroad on holiday at end of Jul and must admit I feel a bit nervous about being away (its only Germany but still) but by then I should be 5 months pregnant so am hoping for an less worrying 2nd trimester!!

Kwik - LOL to the WTF cycle. It must be really hard to pinpoint where you are, I hadn't realised you'd had to have an op for the miscarriage. Hope you stop bleeding soon so that you can count the days to next period. Yeah I d start to do the cheapie pregnancy tests -onestep or similar to check the HCG or blood tests to see if the levels are reducing. Thanks for the recommendation on the yin yoga, not sure if could hold postures for that long but am finding the standing postures horrendous on dizziness levels. I think Kundalini yoga might be quite good because its fluid movement but seated, but where I am they don't run classes. Maybe get a dvd and then if I feel giddy, at least its not in a class overcrowded with folks

goinggrey1978 · 03/05/2016 17:29

Everhopeful76, I think I'm just over 6 weeks now, yes it is quite scary on the days I have less symptoms, I agree totally, yes the nausea just seems easier to handle now, yes I agree with the pressing sensation, I get light headed if I get up to quickly or stand for too long, glad I'm not the only one, it's kind of nice to have a symptom or 2 throughout the day, it's comforting, as it's bubbles way of letting me know it's there and not to forget about it!!
