Our thread was originally started by Rumples who now has her bfp, as have a few other ladies along the way. Here's hoping the next thread holds a few more bfps!

Omg 3 bfps this week! I've still not even come close to a pee stick I am so proud of myself. But Very nervous about Friday!

toes I am still in admiration of you! I did one this morning and did it midstream rather than in a pot, even the control line was faint and absolutely no other line so managed to do another little wee in a pot (!) and did it again. Same as the others, a very faint line!

smidge I don't think mine was a very good quality, and my friend has twins from very low grade embryos so as long as something made it to Et, I think that's good! Both of her low graders stuck around! Not that you could have convinced me that last week, all of its such a worry! Fingers crossed for you

I was on a team building exercise with work today, and one of the questions, I kid you not, was "Imagine you are going to receive a phonecall with the best news in the world. Who is calling you and what do they say?"

I went into a manic fit of giggles and had to make something up on the spot. All I could think was "how do they know?!"

verkey when I phoned clinic they said my due date was 2days later than I thought because they count from transfer day. so they would have me as 4wks tomorrow but I would say I'm 4+2 tomorrow as I had day2 embryos transferred. but yes re normal LMP rules, you are 2wks pg at conception so add 2wks to day you count from whether that be ec or et

do a frer woman totally get you not wanted to count as a bfp yet. I was like that until I did the frer. yes today was otd so feel like I've passed a milestone!

I'm going on a hen do next weekend again, and my Friend asked me today if I'm going to tell people on the weekend if it's BFP - I feel a bit confused about what to do as it seems so early to let people know, but they'll know something's up as I'm not drinking... what to do! Also I bet they all know already about the ivf as it's not much of a secret with my blabbermouth mates about! Still I didn't want too many people knowing as it's so early! Next time I'm not telling anyone!

toes I bet that task was actually hard to do - did you have to make up something else?!

Thank you so much girls for your answer, it seems that I will be just beginning my 6th week when the clinic is going to do the scan!! While you lildottie and verkey will have your scans at week 7. I will call again tomorrow and deferred 1 more week, unless they give me a valid reason for not to do it.
Sorry for this silly question, can you tell me please what is frer test? and what would be a good test to buy to test myself at home until the day of the scan?

verkey can you say you aren't drinking because of post transfer antibiotics. or say you're too early to know the outcome.

GC frer is first response early result. you can test any time of day with it and up to 6days early bit they aren't cheap, not when compared to internet strips

Thanks Verkey it's good to hear the lower quality embryos can still make a baby. I'd better get my positive thinking hat back on!

Don't think this is my time Massive backache yesterday and definite bleeding, not a huge amount but still there this morning. A mixture of pink/brown mucus and then slightly darker this morning. I'm now 6dp5dt with 2 transferred.

I've been bleeding heavily for 2 days now but my clinic told me to do a test this morning which I did and had a bit of a shock...

There's a chance it could be ectopic, the nurse made it clear that could be the case. I thought it was a little harsh considering

I feel periody really, with sharp twinges. I felt a bit icky this morning but just figured it was AF, I do feel ill with AF usually.

DP is understandably being negative and not getting his hopes up but I'm just happy we've got our first ever bfp regardless of the outcome! Obviously I'm hoping for the best.

I did a test .. V silly really as am still bleeding a little and only 6dpo officially. There's the absolute faintest of second lines ... So there's still hope and maybe test again on Sunday/Monday .... X

phoenix i feel a bit nauseous, and my abdomen feels like i've done 3 days of sit ups! I get periody type cramps especially after a bowel movement.
Why did they say it could be eptopic? Just because it's IVF? if thats the only reason i really wouldn't worry. Yes it can happen but its rare.

Fingers crossed for you mini. Obviously my story may not be of any comfort but I bled and got a bfp so it does happen. I just hope I can give you real hope!

lildottie they said it may be ectopic because I've bled and still getting a fairly strong positive. It's cruel really! To see the line and not know if it's real

oh bugger! do you still have to wait to 7 weeks to get scanned?

I'm on the way for a blood test today and again Monday to see what the levels are

Well I've had my bloods taken but not holding out any hope! I got hold and did a CB digi and it says not pregnant so my beta is obviously less than 25

Oh well, it was good whilst it lasted

phoenix did you do the digi with fmu? from what i've heard they are unbelievably shit if you do wrong time/too early.
when do you get the blood results?
