Our thread was originally started by Rumples who now has her bfp, as have a few other ladies along the way. Here's hoping the next thread holds a few more bfps!

yep only 14! hopefully the next 2 weeks go as quick as the last!

it's funny because I always imagined having 2 kids, and getting the chance to experience being pg etc a second time around but now that seems less and less likely. I'd give anything for one chance now!!

it's funny but I sort of knew from young age of face infertility. it's been my biggest fear since I was a teen.

shell just to reassure you re: 7 week scan, I was told that for us IVF ladies the 7 week scan was the equivalent of the 12 week for everyone else, and the only reason they usually wait until 12 weeks to do one with most pregnancies is that that's when it can be an external scan, whereas if we've had IVF we are used to the old dildocam so don't mind the internal scan. And also we would go nuts if we had to wait until 12 weeks. Wen I had my 7 week scan last time they knew immediately something was wrong, so the fact that you saw a wee heartbeat means that you're all good.

I just wanted to say again how amazingly happy I am for you and your family.

Also it's transfer day for me today. I am scarily laid back about the whole thing. I can't believe that I'm going to be PUPO in 2 hours...

That is bizarre that infertility has been your biggest fear as a teen lil. Most girls aren't remotely considering that as a teenager. I remember hearing about a woman doing IVF and thinking 'why would anyone want to do that - I'll have my kids naturally'... little did I know!

Toes, I just replied to you on the other thread but congratulations again on your transfer - although the procedure itself didn't sound to pleasant with your curvy cervix. I think because I've had DS, things are a bit more stretched down there for me and I never had any trouble. Very curious to know what day embryo it was?

I just always wanted to be a mum shell and the thought to follow was "what if I can't be" its kinda like I knew. when we started ttc I was convinced something was wrong with me so was shocked to find I'm perfect and dh is the issue.

dottie I was the same. Always, always wanted to be a mum. Started worrying a little in my mid twenties because I had never had a pregnancy scare and all my friends had! I was hospitalised with suspected appendicitis when I was about 19, and part of the diagnostic procedure was having an ultrasound, and the technician mentioned that there were a lot of cysts on my ovaries, but when I tried to go to doctors about it after that no one took me seriously because I was young and not trying to get pregnant!

After DH and I had been trying for 3 years, I was convinced it was all "my fault" but it turns out we just had a small sperm problem. It's weird how it had been such a big fear, and then it happened and actually, it's not too bad.

Well IVF is one of the useful treatments for couples facing fertility problems. The process combines eggs and sperm to fertilize and form embryos, which then placed back inside women’s uterus to implant and have successful birth. Anyone can adapt this treatment in any part of the world.
