Our thread was originally started by Rumples who now has her bfp, as have a few other ladies along the way. Here's hoping the next thread holds a few more bfps!

I'm going to be a good girl and wait till Friday. If the hospital say it's positive, I'll buy all the pee sticks though!!!

you're a better person than me. I did what hen did and when I started seeing lines I couldn't resist the frers! got a digi for tomorrow, being real test day and all!

I don't have a hospital test done just yet, I have been given sticks which look the same as my IC's from the clinic! Not sure if I do the blood test at all, just one test this week, one next week then in for 7 week scan? I just couldn't resist, I'm going to try to leave POAS now until Friday so DP and me can have our moment of surprise together :) It's given me some confidence, which I maybe need either way as stress can't be good for me or our Embie. I am in a bit of a quandry though.... do I test the night before with DP or on the day, if its good news, on the day is fine, but if its not, he has to go to work afterwards and that's not fair and there's no way I cna wait until the evening or the next day!!! Shall I do an IC the night before with him, then if that's positive we can do one before he leaves for work - if it's negative, we can be upset the night before and I'll test for sure while he's at work but not say anything till he gets back? xx

toes you have sooo much restraint! Also.. sounds like the thirsty thing is a popular symptom? I'm feeling an almighty headache coming so desperately drinking some water in case its dehydration!

Thank you verkey you mentioned headache, sometimes I am having headache and I usually have it when I am with AF which worries me. I will drink some water maybe our body needs liquid, I am thirsty as well and lately I am eating one orange first thing in the morning.

verkey only test in the evening with a frer. ic and others needs to be fmu. even then the ic is shockingly faint even when frer is giving me strong lines. I can post pics if u like

Would love to see pics lil if you don't mind! I love a good ol bfp and would be interesting to see the difference between ic which I have used in the past and a frer.

I'll go take some of mine :) BY the way - when counting dpt - is transfer day one? So what am i? Transfer was last Tuesday 3rd, am I 7dp5dt or 8dp5dt?

I read HPT does not start to show until at least 6dpt HPTChart

I was told day of et is day 1. But I've been counting dp ec to compare to dpo.

verkey my love i think you are pregnant! at the equivalent of 12dpo you will get a good line in a frer I think. this is based on my experience of the last few days and lots of egging on to get frers by other mners!

And this is today's - same tests - just different pictures as I was trying to get it clear but I kept getting shadows!

Am I imagining that extra line - faint as it is??

a line is a line is a line! congratulations verkey. go get a frer £6.50 for 2 in Tesco. you won't believe it until you see a proper line. I have a digi for tomorrow and I can phone clinic and tell them!

I can't believe it, honestly I keep thinking I'm imagining the line! Now the next fear is how to keep that second line! Thanks for all the support I'll still update you officially on Friday!

told the clinic and have scan booked 5 march! did a digi this morning odd seeing it in words. how'd your lined today verkey? my ic is starting to get clearer but still squinty

I got my blood test result and I got BFP as well!! one more step it's done!!Grin

lildottie would you mind to tell me if the 5 March is your 5th or 6th week?

I am little bit concern, my husband said that the doctor advised to do the scan in my 6th week. I just booked my appointment and another doctor said it must be in 2 weeks which is my 5th week and I just didn't want to contradict. I was reading and all the websites say that the best time for the 1st scan is between 6th to 8th week, when the doctor can assess better Confused.

Congrats gc. My scan is at 7 weeks. Clinic do it between 7-8 weeks. I dont think they can see much on the monitor before then. Are you counting from conception/transfer? You are considered 2 weeks pregnant at transfer day. So I am 3wks 6 days today. Although I'm counting from when sperm met egg so i'm saying I'm 4+1 today and will be 7+1 at scan.

I had my embryo transfer today. It wasn't a very good quality one though so I've been rather down about it so far, and need to kick myself into some positive thinking. Hopefully some of the good luck from this thread will rub off on me Smile

Thanks everyone, I'm bit counting mine as official u til testing day on Friday though! Congrats lildottie, that was your official test day today wasn't it? And seeing it in words, it's making me think I definitely need to get a digital one for Friday! And gc congrats as well, great to have it confirmed with a blood test! Fantastic news! gc you count how pregnant you are from the date of your last period normally but with our ivf I will count as 4 weeks and a day pregnant on Friday I think, 2 weeks and a day after egg collection? Is that right everyone? Because normally egg collection would be ovulation which theoretically would be 2 weeks after first day of period? I have been told my scan will be at 7 weeks. I do one test this Friday, then another next Friday to make sure it's still positive then I believe, a scan at 7 weeks so another 2 weeks later?
