I think ari has used the herbs??

Arianrhod · 21/08/2014 09:23

I have indeed, I took sairei-to to help suppress my rampant immune system (along with everything else; honestly I used the world's biggest sledgehammer on my immune system this time!). I can't say for definite whether it helped, but I can say it did appear to help my DD's autoimmune illness (after much consultation with JB he suggested we try a lesser dose of sairei-to appropriate to her age) as when I did a trial of stopping it her symptoms flared hugely and calmed down again when we restarted it. So ... in my rambling way, what I'm trying to say is that I believe sairei-to does indeed help to calm an overactive immune system.

Thanks for that ari I'm thinking about it Just terrified it will increase my uterine cells Again but who knows it's worth a try while I wait! Are you still on them? X

brownstag · 21/08/2014 11:53

If you're still lurking, Ari, can you remind me how much a hysteroscopy is at Serum please.

Arianrhod · 21/08/2014 14:49

I always lurk :) 1500 euros brown.

mel how would it increase your uterine cells? it's designed to suppress the immune system, not boost it? No, I stopped taking them some time back, when I came off the steroids as well.

Ari thank you so much, that is really good . Wow that it works for your daughter as well. I was recommended the same one as you were using as well. Will have a chat with dh tonight as would like him to take the vitality herbs for his sperm count and hopefully order all tomorrow.
mel it shouldn't increase uNK cells, really. There are herbs/supplements which boosts immune system but don't believe this particular one does. Let us know when you get a reply.

swlondonnanny · 21/08/2014 15:13

brown are you considering hysteroscopy in athens than? I was thinking about another biopsy/scratch. It was £360 in coventry and should help for a few cycles afterwards. Pity dh sperm count was so low around that time.

Arianrhod · 21/08/2014 15:13

No, sairei-to definitely does NOT boost the immune system. Had long conversations with John Bowen around this subject (what a lovely man)!

Great thanks yes he's recommended that for me for 3 months is 180 euros plus 40 courier. I'm paying by internet banking so assume I just do a currency convert? He mentioned a bank charge too so do they just take that off? Hopefully can start it next cycle then x

swlondonnanny · 21/08/2014 17:39

Mel did he suggest anything for your DH? Don't know how online transfer works, always go to bank to do - normally I tell them how much and what currency I want to send and they deduct transfer charge from mu account - £15 in europe. Will see how much that will be to asia.

Mel3062 · 21/08/2014 17:46

Crikey I best go in the bank then to do it I think. No but I didn't mention hubby it's bad enough getting him to take his proxeed! Dr g has suggested I see him to suggest next steps together but he told my friend for me to go after day 3/21 results ahh confusing!

swlondonnanny · 21/08/2014 17:54

Guess depends on how quickly you get your day 3 tests results. My gp gets the results within 2 days. I mean you might have your results back by the time you'd go to see dr G next week.

Mel3062 · 21/08/2014 18:02

True do they not need that one and the day 21 together?? If not it may just be back if we go next Saturday.. Did you book your appt?

swlondonnanny · 21/08/2014 18:38

Not booked it yet. Will try for next friday.
Think ideally it would be better to have day 21 as well but I thought they base quite a lot of fertility treatments on day 3 test.

swlondonnanny · 22/08/2014 07:32

My AF finally arrived - that makes my luteal phase for last cycle 15 days. With no spotting for a change. Who knows what happened? Penny kept saying that the spotting is because of infections - but I finished the antibiotics 3 months ago....
Didn't do any nights for a while - could that somehow lenghten LP and sort out the spotting?

Arianrhod · 22/08/2014 11:35

mel I always use CurrencyFair to pay JB, best exchange rate and lowest fees.

brownstag · 22/08/2014 12:32

Of course, you may have ovulated a day later than you thought, Nanny. You got a positive on day 12, didn't you? So you may have ovulated day 14. As to no spotting, that's all good! Maybe it takes a while for the effect of the antibiotics to kick in.
Thanks very much for the cyclogest!

swlondonnanny · 22/08/2014 12:35

ari know this is silly but do you make the payment in euros? Mean JB receives euros?

Arianrhod · 22/08/2014 14:14

Yes but that's what he asks for nanny, even though he has a Singapore bank account.

Just transferred money over to that company ari so hopefully can transfer over to him soon. When I went in Halifax they said they charge £19 but only £9 on internet banking but my god it wouldn't accept the numbers etc so gave up!!
Glad af has arrived nanny.
Ff changed my ovulation day today grrr but I think the monitor is more accurate.
Just been told a work collegue has been showing her 12 week scan after just a month of trying, she's one of those that can work until she goes into labour! Not looking forward to going back to work :( it's so unfair x

swlondonnanny · 22/08/2014 15:31

Thank you Ari, I just didn't want to mess it up.
Sorry Mel, it is not going to be easy. My boss is 30 weeks now so in october I will have a baby to look after. Somehow it doesn't bother me, I am actually happy that all goes well - kind of gives me a hope that one day, hopefully, I will be 30+ weeks pregnant Smile
Just booked appointment with Dr G for next week friday (29th) so will see what he'll suggest.
How did ff change your ovulation? Just by 1 day? Or more?

Mel3062 · 22/08/2014 15:49

Umm she's not a sensitive person though.
Good that you've booked appt I'm still wondering if to wait til I get progesterone result as well particularly as the cyclogest causes my migraines.
It said initially af was due sun and ovulation was day 12 now it says ovulation day 15 and af tues for gods sake. I got postive on monitor day 14 but got positive other opks before that blinking heck!

Mel3062 · 22/08/2014 15:50

It says ovulation day 17 sorry

swlondonnanny · 24/08/2014 16:23

Brown glad it arrived, hope they will help Smile
Ari could you remind me what everything you were taking with this pregnancy, please? I mean immune stuff. Have you ever used IVIGs?
Sue yes you are right. It is a combination of factors, it is hard though that we dont know which factors they are. Also the 'specialists' we go to see and pay hell of money to dont know Sad . Every single one of them has their own idea and ego to stroke. They dont take our specific problems into consideration - they have a few things they look for and if you fit into those they 'treat' you. If it works great! If not bad luck and try again....
It is sad how much research we have to do ourselves....
Mel I had a happy birthday wish from a 'friend' on facebook saying - HB, hope you are well. oh I am getting so much fed up with this pregnancy, cant wait for the baby to be born, thank god I could send the older ones to my mum for the whole summer..... !!!!! She knows about my miscarriages. This is her 4th child with the oldest one being 7. Well..... I remember when she got pregnant with the first one she was saying things like - WTF does it have to happen to me to get pregnant etc.
Why on earth did she go on to get pregnant 3 more times I have no idea....

Mel3062 · 26/08/2014 16:46

Ari- did you use cordyceps too?? Wondering if I should order that too for implantation??
