9dpo today, monitor high still flashing af to arrive in 3 days though ff said it's Wednesday. Had big temp dip today at 3am but retook it at 5 and was same as yest.
Still not taking cyclogest so will be interesting to see if af comes on it's own this time.
Got my letter from dr g so can take my injections on hol.
Yes please to a meet up.
Waves to all.
Nanny it's so cruel :(
Funeral today :( was my 20th anniversary yest and hubby forgot so I'll make him pay!!!

brownstag · 24/07/2014 09:37

Sorry, mel, I meant to say before that that link to your chart didn't work for me. So your monitor is saying you're fertile now after ovulating? And your monitor is testing oestrogen and luteinising hormone? Does it tell you which of those is giving the high reading?
That's so crushing, Nanny, I'm sorry. What kind of test were you getting a positive on, and was it strong?

brownstag · 24/07/2014 09:39

I also went to a funeral, yesterday, Mel and it was so hot that everyone was almost fainting. Take some water with you. Poor hubby has had a lot on his mind though.

Mel3062 · 24/07/2014 10:47

No brown it doesn't. Thanks for the water tip. Yes he has had a lot on :(

Mel3062 · 24/07/2014 10:57

Now looking at the stork conception kit, £99 looks a step up from my mooncup where it just stays in the bottom :/

swlondonnanny · 24/07/2014 15:54

Mel hope you are OK today, funerals are very sad
Brown had 2 from ASDA, one their own and some other I never used before. The lines weren't as dark as control ones but very clear and visible.

brownstag · 24/07/2014 19:09

That's so sad, Nanny. And they are definitely negative now?
Mel, that's as clear as day that you've ovulated when they said you did. So the question is, why the highs on the monitor? You're not getting positive opks at the same time presumably, so it can't be luteinising hormone, so I would hazard a guess that your oestrogen levels are high. Wouldn't it be nice if that's an implantation dip today :)

brownstag · 24/07/2014 19:14

Oh, And I'm definitely back to a new cycle, as I have a strong opk again, after 2 weeks of nothing!

brownstag · 24/07/2014 19:20

Your range of temperatures is higher than mine, incidentally, Mel. No idea if that means anything though! Mine goes from 36.2 to 37.1 generally though it has occasionally been quite a bit lower or higher. Yours 36.5 to 37.4.

Mel3062 · 24/07/2014 19:30

Thanks brown interesting especially when my temps are not related to cyclogest this month.
Yes implantation dip would be amazing! Not done any other opks though they were fading. There's still a line on the moniter ones. So what does high oestrogen mean?? Is that good?
Yey brown to the opk ;)
Just ordered the stork.. What the heck I'll take it on hol anythings better than ivf cost!
Just back from Stockport v hot and emotional but glad we went thanks nanny x

Mel3062 · 24/07/2014 19:50

Oh no just looked it up and wish I hadn't! Low reserve, trouble conceiving :( can I have anything for this?

swlondonnanny · 24/07/2014 20:43

Brown busy weekend ahead, hey? [Wink]
Mel I wouldn't worry, I had that one cycle, and my oestrogen levels are not high, am 100% sure, whenever had blood tests done it is lowest end of normal. I think those monitors are programed to give you highs until you get peak and then you are supposed to stop testing. They elso only give you peak if your lh is at least 40. So let's say your lh surge is 30 CB monitor will not detect that and will keep showing highs. If you do internet cheapies OPK which sensitivity is 20miu they can show you 'peak' - positive ovulation test - even you only have highs on CB monitor.
That is my understanding of those monitors and that's why I only use the cheap tests now.
Hope that makes any sense?

Mel3062 · 24/07/2014 21:25

Ah yes thank you and if course I've had no peak on the monitor this month! Thank you I can sleep abit now!!

brownstag · 25/07/2014 08:05

That's interesting how that works. But also, Mel, I don't think higher oestrogen levels are necessarily a bad thing anyway, within reason. My oestrogen levels increased while on DHEA and that's when I started conceiving after not having done for years.
Won't be busy this weekend, I'm afraid, ladies. What I meant was I was back to falsely high lh readings again, like I was at the beginning of last cycle, for weeks. But actually this morning's opk is fine so maybe a blip yesterday. And my temperature is at last coming down.
What is your average range of temperatures, Nanny. Just thinking of your thyroid.

brownstag · 25/07/2014 10:34

Typical. I've now started AF which would mean a 14-day luteal phase. I never have a long luteal phase, so it must have been a damn good egg!

Mel3062 · 25/07/2014 11:41

Aw how annoying Brown what was the opk about then?
My temp is 37.17 still high on mon . Jus been acupuncture!

brownstag · 25/07/2014 11:58

That's what I had last cycle - almost positive or actually positive opks for 4 weeks. Followed by ovulation finally, then a 2-day period, immediately followed by another ovulation, followed by 2 weeks of spotting, followed, now, by another period.
Pebbles, when do you test?

VillageMum · 25/07/2014 12:13

Who knows, brown - I'm reluctant to speculate but sort of doubt it as I've always been an enthusiastic responder (but yes, still taking the DHEA.) One thing this business does bring home to you is that the body is dynamic rather than static. Just when you think you've got it sorted, something changes. Mr S has been fantastic - it's kept me sane, having information and an action plan each time. Now in 2ww! Really hope a new cycle is beginning for you - it does sound like it, doesn't it?

VillageMum · 25/07/2014 12:21

Oops, after I posted a whole number of earlier posts suddenly appeared which didn't reveal themselves earlier even after pressing refresh!

brown glad to hear you've definitely had AF now...

nanny I'm so sorry to read that you've just had a chemical. Hugs to you xx

brownstag · 25/07/2014 12:26

I get that frequently too, Village, often just as someone has revealed something important or painful, and it then looks as if I'm ignoring them and just waffling on about my own petty anxieties ...
Yes, I agree, Village; everything is amenable to influence. But that's a good thing in general, as that even includes supposedly fixed and finite egg numbers, in my opinion.

swlondonnanny · 25/07/2014 12:53

Brown it is normally between 36.4 and 37.1 (37.2 once).
Hmm your cycle sounds confusing / complicated. Really hope it is back to normal now Smile
Mel are you not testing yet? Or will you just wait till AF is due?
Village thank you and fingers crossed for BFP for you soon

Mel3062 · 25/07/2014 13:18

That's right I remember now brown x
Village glad mr s is supporting you. I do wonder if I should give him a go again with hydroxy but prof q just said to admit it didn't work for me. I'll give my dr g plan a go anyway!
No nanny 10 dpo today and it will be interesting what happens with af and migraine on no cyclogest ;)

Pebbles73 · 25/07/2014 13:41

So sorry about the funerals Mel & Brown and hope they went as well as these things can.

I am sorry can't offer any advice on temping cycles etc as have never done it. Hope your af's sort themselves out!

Nanny can't think as far ahead as scans at the mo just desperately praying for a bfp......So sorry about the chemical and hope you are feeling ok, chemicals are awful as they get your hopes up and then dash them away again. Big hugs.

Brown I am due to test next Saturday and for once will wait to the official date! Promised my oh I would and think it will be less stressful than waiting for lines to darken etc. not stressing about it yet as been on hols and coming back etc but think next week will drag.....

Mel3062 · 26/07/2014 05:40

Umm temp has dropped to 36.68 today :(
Pebbles I have everything crossed for you. I go on hol Saturday so I'll be awaiting your news.
Here I am ironing at silly o clock while it's cool!
