After months of no af showing on it's own I'm supposedly 5dpo today so I'm thinking I may give the cyclogest a miss this month and see if af comes on it's own. If so that proves it's the cyclogest from ovulation that's stopping it! Does that sound a good idea?
I'm going on hol in 2 weeks so just bought a bag for my neupogen, I'll prob still take my monitor!
Someone was advised to avoid sun if on clexane does anyone know more about this???!

brownstag · 20/07/2014 08:28

Thanks, Belly. mel, why not just take it for a few more days, like to 9 or 10dpo, which would be enough to protect the lining while implantation may occur, but also short enough to allow AF to appear at roughly the normal time. How long does it usually take from stopping cyclogest to when AF appears for you? For me it's 2 to 3 days.

Mel3062 · 20/07/2014 08:38

I haven't even started it yet brown :/ but yes could do that I guess. Monitor still says high but think it's just missed it as had positive on 2 other tests. Yes it's normally 2 days since stopping for af x

brownstag · 20/07/2014 08:45

Oh well, perhaps do that and also fit in an extra bunk-up today for good measure :)

brownstag · 20/07/2014 08:46

Did your temperature go up?

Pebbles73 · 20/07/2014 08:51

Hey Belly, so far so good! Had to have a blood test for my progesterone levels yesterday as here they actually test rather than just give you it ! They were happy with them so will have another blood test at et and they will then decide if to give me anything then, I am hoping it means I get out of the awful injectable progesterone with the massive needles! I am going in tomorrow at 11am for embryo transfer but seems they decide at the time if they will do it then or if it will be Tuesday day 6.

How about you have you decided where you will go for your hysteroscopy?

Mel I hadn't heard that about clexane, have been on it while here and been sunbathing with no problems.

Mel3062 · 20/07/2014 08:55

Yes have a peak I know you like to ;)

I don't know what to do as ever!

Mel3062 · 20/07/2014 08:57

Yikes pebbles big needles sound scary! Sounds like you're doing amazing! No I've not read anywhere about the clexane either so not sure what that's about!

Mel3062 · 20/07/2014 09:20

I'm always worried about having cyclogest then stopping as it brings on bleeding and I'm just worried that's it's removing something it maybe shouldn't like something that's not properly implanted. That's why i always want to make sure it's def bfn due to late implantation possibility.

suemays · 20/07/2014 11:55

pebbles good luck with the transfer - really hope this works out for you!

I was told to take calcium tablets with clexane as it depletes calcium levels. Not heard about avoiding the sun though as some vit d is good for conceiving and early pregnancy.
Waves to everyone else!

VillageMum · 20/07/2014 20:27

Hello ladies, I haven't been on here for a while as real life suddenly became very busy... just wanted to pop in and say hello to everyone.

Best of luck pebbles with your transfer; what a fantastic number of eggs!

mel so sorry to hear your sad news.

brown what a confusing time for you - have you had any more thoughts on it all?

I'm still ttc, on a natural cycle at the moment as I was over responding to SO. Still produced three follies even without letrozole; it certainly seems to linger in the system.

Waves to everyone I haven't mentioned by name, am thinking of you all!

swlondonnanny · 21/07/2014 07:50

Pebbles best of luck today with ET.
Village great to hear from you again, was thinking about you a couple of days ago, wondering how you were doing

VillageMum · 21/07/2014 10:26

Hi nanny, thanks for thinking of me! I'm ok, really enjoying having a natural cycle again after all the months of SO. How are you?

Just wanted to say hello too to Ari - congrats on your recent great scan news, two boys, wow! - and to belly and sue. So sorry if I haven't mentioned anyone by name; still catching up with reading!

Pebbles73 · 21/07/2014 12:09

Thanks everyone for thinking of me, transfer went really smoothly and had three grade 1 blasts put back. We were feeling slightly nervous about having three as only ever had two previously but Penny thought that was best. Apparently they were ready to start implanting in the Petri dish, lol! have to go back for intralipids tomorrow and then home Wednesday. I would highly recommend Serum to anyone , they have been great and the midwife I have dealt with when not seeing Penny calked Dimitra is just lovely. They are quite matter of fact about stuff and you find when you are having a scan there will be a few people leaning over your legs having a look and chatting away in Greek. Smile

Hi Village sorry the super ov didn't work out but hope natural ttc is better for you.

brownstag · 21/07/2014 16:10

Great news, Pebbles and happy implanting to those blasts. How would you feel about 2 (or even 3) babies? I wish I'd had twins when I had Oskar and could have been given up ttc forever after that. But of course at the time I was just very very grateful to have conceived one and still am.
Great to hear from you, Village and good luck. So you've continued to have scans even with a natural cycle or did you have some reason for another scan?
I'm just very keen to get back to normal. I'm now either 11dpo or day 14, depending on how you look at it. My temps are still high (they've been pretty high after this supposed ovulation, which makes me think it's Sod's Law that the egg was a good one, but could never have implanted into my 3mm lining even if we had had sex, which we didn't) but my spotting is heavier so hopefully another period is on its way (although with what lining?) Maybe this is me forever now: all back to front.

BellyD · 21/07/2014 18:52

Welcome back Village and enjoy your natural cycle. Very refreshing to go back to nature as intended - hope you get lucky!

Pebbles wow three back on board, brilliant news. You just take it easy for the next couple of weeks. Fingers crossed at least one of those little beans nestles down snugly.

X

Mel3062 · 21/07/2014 19:08

Aw pebbles that's amazing news fingers firmly crossed!!

duggs1976 · 21/07/2014 21:33

What a fab advert for serum ! They certainly sound good. Fingers crossed pebbles - when do u fly home? X

suemays · 21/07/2014 22:32

Just wait pebbles you will end up with tri

suemays · 21/07/2014 22:32

Triplets!

Pebbles73 · 22/07/2014 12:16

I think dh would have a heart attack if it was triplets sue!! Smile
Found out today we had two hop day 6 blasts to freeze so we were really pleased!

Back home tomorrow Duggs but not back to work until Friday.

Brown the thought of more than one is a bit scary if I am honest but always wanted two....

How are you doing Belly, made any decisions re hysteroscopy?

VillageMum · 23/07/2014 13:04

Pebbles three grade 1 blasts, that sounds so promising! How are you feeling?

Thanks Belly, have been thinking of you; how did your consultation at Zita West go?

Hey brown, great to see you on here too. I was still having scans to monitor a cyst - which gave me a shortened cycle last time but seems to have resolved itself. Fingers crossed. Any changes to my cycle really disconcert and even depress me so I do feel for you!! Any signs of AF now?

Waves to sue, duggs, nanny and anyone I've missed.

brownstag · 24/07/2014 07:57

Ah, that explains it Village. As to AF, no sign and all spotting has gone. If I did ovulate after that surge, I would now be in AF, but I think there was nothing to shed. My temp is still high this morning, but to be honest, I had a bit of a lay-in and went back to sleep twice so it wasn't accurate when I finally took it. Otherwise I think my CM is changing more towards an oestrogenic pattern, plus I had slight ovary twinges yesterday as if they had woken up, so I hope a new cycle is beginning.

brownstag · 24/07/2014 08:09

I wonder if the DHEA contributed to the letrozole's overstimulation? If you're still taking it?

swlondonnanny · 24/07/2014 08:44

Pebbles wow, 3 put back in, good luck, bet you'll be quite nervous before the firs scan to see if there are 3 in there Smile good luck and hope you are feeling ok
Brown hmm it must be confusing for you, hope it is start of new cycle now
Mel how are you? Is it time to do a test soon?
My AF started on Sun but still tested positive on Mon ( scared myself with ectopic as I was having quite a lot of pain in my right side). BFN since than so will put it down as another chemical. Don't even know which one is this, decided to stop counting them...
On a more positive note - anyone fancy to meet up?
