DTmistress is your appointment today? If yes good luck Smile
Well, we've been TTC for 3 and half years, had quite a few very early miscarriages in that time, no child so far. Had quite a few tests done at local RMC + St. Mary's last week (waiting for results of that one) + uterine NKcells checked last year (raised). Going to Serum in Athens next week for more immune tests + sperm DNA fragmentation for my DH. Will decide once we have all those what exactly we are doing, considering S0 just to speed it all up as am going to be 39 in August.

Mel3062 · 17/06/2014 18:37

I was 39 in May. I have a 19 year old who was 11 weeks premature. 5 miscarriages and 1 chemical since then. Tried super ovulation for 8 months. Diagnosed with high nk cells. Had DNA frag, humira for high tnf alpha, lit therapy, uterine biopsy, hysterscopy in Athens. Am now trying with clexane and neupogen before possible ivf route x

swlondonnanny · 17/06/2014 23:04

Mel when did you start immune testing? And why did you decide to test - hope you don't mind me asking...

Mel3062 · 18/06/2014 05:06

No of course not i first saw mr s in 2010 I think after miscarriage number 4 all my rmc hospital tests were came back clear and I was just given aspirin. Before that I'd not even heard of immune testing until I joined baby centre then I had a reason to investigate if you like. Prior to 2010 Lucies early arrival put us of for a long time having another as wed only been married 6 weeks when I went into labour and we were young!! Then I went to uni so we went through heard of not trying. My first mc was at 16 weeks when she was 7:( so wish I'd not left it so long but no one tells you about immunes and hindsight Is a wonderful thing!

Pebbles good luck with your hysteroscopy, hope you'll feel much better after this one.

Mel3062 · 18/06/2014 07:23

Pebbles good luck for today, hope it all goes smoothly. Thinking of you x

duggs1976 · 18/06/2014 17:18

Am in Greece pebbles.. Naxos but was in Athens last weekend and will be back there Friday. Hope things do go well for you pebbles. Grin

Pebbles73 · 18/06/2014 18:02

Thank you ladies, all went very smoothly and turns out there was a bit if miscommunication and the actually removed the septum last time which explains the pain!! This one was thankfully pain free, they removed more adhesions and a polyp which had grown since last hysto. Penny said my womb is not prefect but very promising and should do ivf as soon as I have had next af. Having ore-treatment of 10mg pred, frolic acid and cuts and 200mg Celebrex all from day 22 of this cycle. I will then have clexane, letrezole and puregon on the short protocol. Oh and doxy as well.

Looks like will be back here middle of July from day 6. Spent all day at hospital and clinic but out for dinner this evening.

Hope everyone else is doing well, how are you feeling Belly?

swlondonnanny · 18/06/2014 19:19

Great news Pebbles Smile. It must feel good to have a plan and great that you feel fine pain free

brownstag · 19/06/2014 10:00

Waves to all, particularly Nanny, Mel, Belly, Ari, Pebbles, Sue and Duggs. I hope you're getting some sleep now Ari. (Did you get my pm ages ago?)
Just a quick update on the melatonin situation for anyone who's interested. It was great for the first 3 months - ovulation bang on time, loads of CM, massive boobs (for me anyway; it's all relative), etc, but lately I had been feeling in a dreadful coma from about 6pm and thought I had better reduce it from 2mg to 1mg (Penny had advised 3mg). Just as well, as this month has been weird so I thought I'd start doing OPKs again to see what was going on. I have had a positive ovulation test every day from day 14 to day 24 today and it seems as if my body is gearing up for ovulation but not getting there. Confusing fertility symptoms - cervix high and soft but CM alternately dry and then stretchy, intermittent ovary pain, temperature definitely preovulatory on the one occasion I took it.
What I think it means is that there is probably an ideal dose for fertility and it differs from person to person (as I believe is the case when using it for sleep) and 3mg or 2mg may be too high for some. It now seems to be having contraceptive properties. Ironic, seeing as I now have 3 times my previous egg reserve; but those eggs just won't come out!

duggs1976 · 20/06/2014 05:16

Glad that's done pebblesSmile will you go for own egg IVF or include a back up donor incase embryos not up to scratch? July isn't far away...

Pebbles73 · 20/06/2014 13:45

Hey Brown good to hear from you, are you still ttc??

Duggs using own eggs as Penny thinks there is no reason to use donor ones and I agree with her as fertilisation and embryos have never been a problem. It seems it has all been down to my crap uterus!

swlondonnanny · 21/06/2014 10:48

Mell sorry to hear that, never realized that Lucy was born 11 weeks early. Looks like you have every treatment possible so fingers crossed it will work.
Duggs how long are you staying in Athens?
Brown lovely to hear from you
Pebbles do you remember by any chance how much you paid for your DH sperm test when you went last time? Asked Maria a few times but never got a reply...

Mel3062 · 21/06/2014 11:05

Pebbles July will soon be here, so pleased you have a way forward, exciting times :)
Duggs hope alls ok with you.
Brown how lovely to hear from you!
Thanks nanny, yes tried our best this month, possibly ovulated tues. You wouldn't think she was that early!! She's off to Greece tomorrow for hol, wish I was going back there!!
Swamped with reports still :(
Waves to all x

duggs1976 · 21/06/2014 20:41

Best of luck pebbles, thankfully penny seems to cover every angle. It just become focused on one area of expertise! We're back now from Naxos- was in Athens yesterday but seems lovely weather here todayGrin how are you getting on mel, belly d, nanny too...? What about you ari? How many wks now?

duggs1976 · 22/06/2014 07:08

Meant.. Rather that it just become focused on one area of expertise!

Pebbles73 · 22/06/2014 15:26

Hi Nanny just had a check through paperwork from last time and I think dh tests were 180 euros, dna fragmentation was defo 100 euros and then there is another analysis for 80 but not sure if that was for me or him....

Thanks mel and hope you are ok.

Good holiday Duggs? How many weeks are you now?

Us very quiet on here these days.....

swlondonnanny · 23/06/2014 11:18

Thank you Pebbles it is very helpful.

Pebbles73 · 23/06/2014 13:15

duggs1976 · 23/06/2014 20:32

Lovely relaxing holiday pebbles thanks! Nanny best of luck.. If penny recommends a hysto what will you do?

Pebbles73 · 24/06/2014 13:45

Was looking for a bit of advice , need get a baseline scan done when af arrives but obviously can't fly out to Greece kudu for that! Just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere in uk that would do something like that??

suemays · 24/06/2014 15:22

How about Amersham sonographers at Amersham hospital? They do other scans there privately,
