I think most people would generally feel the same Ari but these things have a way of working out and of course we wouldn't be upset. You know this is somewhere you can come and talk honestly.

swlondonnanny · 01/05/2014 19:40

Ari Pebbles just explained what I meant about noone being upset by how you feel Smile
No I wasn't told that about antibiotics - maybe it was in the original leaflet they emailed me and I didn't notice...

Pebbles73 · 01/05/2014 20:32

I also meant to say thank you for thinking of me nanny , it's funny how most of us haven't even met but always so eager to know how everybody is doing and hoping everything is going well for them . I don't know about everyone else but I get so tired of explaining things to friends & family it's so nice to know everyone on here just automatically understands.

duggs1976 · 01/05/2014 21:17

Good luck village. Pebbles glad you are home ok and I wouldn't hang about either - get on with rest of hysto and IVF cycle. I'm ok 15 weeks today. Still feel a bit nauseous at times. Next scan is 6 June 20 wks. Don't think I'll have one before then as I want to be as "normal" as possible. Have second midwife app on Tuesday am sure will say I've put on too much weight already..Ari once over 9 weeks that is most significant milestone Grin

Mel3062 · 02/05/2014 05:39

Pebbles I totally agree, I'm sure many think I'm mad continuing! You've been so kind that you've shared your cystitis virtually! Ouchy!exciting times ahead for you, Shane you have to have it done twice though but yes I think worth it. I had mine in may then fell preg sept so fingers crossed!
I'm worried now it's been a year that I need another but wel see.
Mums ok thanks ladies, very tired as it's every other day treatment and quite a long way to travel.
Duggs 15 weeks wow and not far off half way!!!
Ari were all made up for you, you're bound to feel like you do and I'm sure we all understand.
Yes, no ttc on the antibiotics which I found hard as I wanted to crack on!
Waves to all x

Hi All

Pebbles glad you are on the mend after your trip and raring to go. Serum does sound amazing and I am glad you feel so positive. I am excited for you.

Ari after trying for so long, it is no wonder that twins are a daunting prospect. Pebbles is right, this is a place for honesty.

Village great news on your follies. Very hopeful for you.

SW good luck with the antibiotics, I am sorry I can't be more helpful and offer advice, but the others seem to know what they are talking about.

Duggs glad you are getting on ok and doing such a brilliant job of enjoying a normal pregnancy.

Mel glad your mum is coping ok. I am sure it is all very draining for you.

Brown, Sue will pm you.

I am really disappointed, but after contacting IVF Spain on Monday to tell them my HCG levels had dropped and asking them a bunch of questions, we haven't heard a thing. I was going to call them yesterday after work, but had started to bleed and was feeling too teary (hormones all over the shop) to deal with a conversation, so we sent a follow up email. It turns out they were shut yesterday but we still haven't heard anything today. I can't quite believe it to be honest. I am going to call them in the morning and see what they say - but I can't believe they haven't even sent a "We are so sorry, you can stop taking your meds" email. Cramping now and due to go out for a meal with our best mates this eve that we are really looking forward too. Think we will just go and hope things don't properly kick off.

Pebbles73 · 02/05/2014 22:08

That's rubbish they haven't even instructed you re meds etc ! Have you spoken to ZW as am I right that they were dealing with your immunes?
All these drugs and hormones certainly make you feel s**t and not like yourself at all! Good for you going out, hopefully it will distract you for a bit and in spite of things hope you have a nice evening and a few drinks. Sending you a big hug and hope you get through to somebody at the clinic tomorrow.

suemays · 03/05/2014 10:16

belly I have Pmd you but shocked they haven't come back to you!

Arianrhod · 03/05/2014 10:31

belly That's terrible that they haven't responded to your email, that's not supporting you the way you need! Did you phone them today? How are you feeling? Big hugs, take care of yourself.

Mel3062 · 03/05/2014 11:33

Belly that's appalling, hope you've got hold of them, glad you still went out. You don't need that on top of everything else :(

VillageMum · 03/05/2014 17:37

belly thinking of you. I really hope the clinic has got in touch and that it isn't a long weekend in Spain too? Hope DH is spoiling you and looking after you xx

Waves to everyone else. It's DS's birthday party today so rushing around looking after a bunch of thirteen-year-old boys, but just wanted to pop in and say thanks for all your support ladies.

Mel3062 · 03/05/2014 18:21

Hi ladies I'm 10 dpo, been to harry potter and staying at a premier inn for my bday tues, deliberately not bought a first response! However I still have this cystitis so got powders and now it says not to take if pregnant, is this a big deal?? Anyone know why not? Of course I'm worried just in case but it's agony :(

duggs1976 · 03/05/2014 23:40

Ahh not that it is any excuse but if I remember correctly 1 and 2 May bank hols in Spain and most of europe.. Not much of an excuse but might explain lack of response belly?

swlondonnanny · 06/05/2014 07:51

Happy birthday Mel (hope I got it right), hope you feel better now. Have you tested yet? Or you still managed to resist?
Pebbles yes it is really good to have 'online friends' who understand. I don't know anyone in RL who had a miscarriage, everyone just starts TTC, gets pregnant within 3 months and has a baby...
Belly hope you've heard from your spanish clinic by now?

Pebbles73 · 06/05/2014 13:25

Hope you had a lovely Birthday. Mel, have you tested??!

Question for the ladies who had a hysteroscopy, mine is just over a week and today have had terrible cramping and backache with some bleeding. Wondering if af has come early which would seem strange as they out me on the pill for a couple if weeks?? Just wondered how everyone else's was after, have emailed Serum for advice.

Waves to all and hope you have heard back Bellyx

Arianrhod · 06/05/2014 15:21

pebbles I had mine quite late in my cycle, and it led straight into my AF, so I'm afraid I'm not much help! It does sound like an AF, but see what Penny says I should.

belly how are you doing??

OP posts:
Mel3062 · 06/05/2014 15:39

Thanks ladies, pebbles mine went to af too if I recall.
Bfn for me :(

swlondonnanny · 06/05/2014 19:26

Oh Mel, sorry. How many DPO are you?
Pebbles I only had hysteroscopy in London and was spotting for a couple of days and my period started 2weeks later. Did you hear from Athens?
I just spoke to Penny , she seems to think that all my problems are caused by the infections they found. And we shouldn't try naturally but only do IVF as because of those infections my tubes are not working. Oh and my DH needs the antiobiotics for 40 days, not just 25 days.
I feel a bit confused just now...

Mel3062 · 06/05/2014 20:38

13 nanny if ff is correct, if not then af due Saturday at least. Sorry you're confused :(

swlondonnanny · 06/05/2014 21:01

Mel is it at all possible that you ovulated a few days later and it is just too early to test? If your AF can be due on saturday?
What I meant by being confused is how could I ever be pregnant if the tubes are blocked? I know all this infections can cause all sort of problems and blocked tubes is one of those problems but how on earth would I get pregnant 10 times if they were blocked? I understand why she would recommend IVF based on my DH sperm count which is very low ( and we were told so after his test) but this talk about blocked tubes surprised me...

Mel3062 · 06/05/2014 21:24

I don't know the frer are very accurate aren't they. Umm it does seem a quandary for you, hope you get abit of clarification.
Anyhow I'll see if the reduced steroid bring af or if I need to stop the cyclogest. No horrid spots or headaches so far though ;)

duggs1976 · 06/05/2014 21:24

Why are you confused nanny ? It seems to make sense. Peny certainly doesn't recommend IVF when she thinks a natural cycle will work so you can at least trust her recommendation. My DH had anti bs for 40 days as well - they must have found something in his history or his test results.

duggs1976 · 06/05/2014 21:28

Sorry missed your last post. I see.. Blocked tubes yes seems a bit strange? Mel - yes if bfp then I'd definitely stop cyclogest and steroids right away. Why wouldn't you ? R u worried the frer might be wrong?

Mel3062 · 07/05/2014 05:27

I don't feel pregnant though had tummy twinges and awful bloating. According to ff I'm 14 dpo today if ovulated day 11, got a positive opk day 11 so it does fit. So af should be here today day 25, it just seems so short when used to 31 length! At least my cycle seems better than last month. Was hoping af would appear on it's own rather than stopping cylogest.
Well I'm going to have a hotel chocolat hot chocolate today if nothing else happens! My birthday will go on for some time....

duggs1976 · 07/05/2014 05:49

Dooh meant if " no bfp " Mel !
