Ivf anyone starting stimms next week?

Im starting stimns next week for icsi(dependent on blood test)?
Anyone at the same time want to join.

I now have just the 2 the abnormal didnt keep on growing.
They are b grades 1 4 cell and 1 6 cell.
They started saying now all you need is 1 top quality to have to do SET
But at the moment we could put 2 as they are only b grade
We will have to wait until tomorrow

I was told that they like to see them at least at the 4 cell stage on day two. So with your's at 4 and 6 cells, it seems like they are dividing nicely. The B grade refers to the fragmentation right? I am thinking of you!

Yes the b is fragmentation.
They are now.
B 8 cell (which was 6 yester)
b/c grade 6-7 cell (was 4)
Having both put back as not top grade only 2 left i would be surprised if they would freeze one( but will ask out of interest.

They said the quality of the other 1 would have been good enough to freeze which is nice to know for if we had needed to freeze one of these or if we had had more.

Sounds like good cell division for day 3.
Nothing we can say to make time go any quicker now... the LONG two week wait begins!
Sounds promising that your lining is a lot thicker this time.
I must remember the brazil nuts too when I do IVF next cycle.

Do you have pregnancy tests sitting at home as you impatiently wait to test? Or are you waiting until your clinic does a blood test?

They dont do a blood test.
So i have bought some. ( last time the line was so faint)
Not feeling very confident at the moment, though im not sold on the embryo grading it was slightly better last time.
I know its the genes of the embryo that make the most difference and that is just luck. Most women half eggs/ embryos will fail so lucky dip to get 2 good 1 good or 0 if you put 2 back.
They said to test 16 days after EC. I will try to wait that long as i dont want to know if i get a chemical.

When you say 'last time the line was so faint', do you mean your first IVF that produced your first child?

Okay, so today is 8 days after EC; another 8 to go. Half way there!

No symptoms.
(Upset tummy from the metformin and progesterone - they have opposite effects and i never had this prob the first time, would say metformin dose is too high this time.)
I dont think i had any last time though maybe a bit of stretching but that could have been after positive.

Yes the positive last time was really faint on first response.
I wasnt sure until i did a digital several days later. (Was convinced they were false positives, at least if you have a blood test you know.

I'm on day 5 of stims, my ovaries already feel huge. Blood test tomorrow and 1st scan in Friday. They have only given me 10 days of stims so fingers crossed it's EC soon

With mine they give a minimum and give extras as needed. (Due to not being able to return them)
But i think i only had 12 days so 10 days u could be there.
So likely to be next week for EC i suppose?

I looked online and the gonal f pen is £94 and I use a full one a day! I have 6 left so I hope that's all I need, I can feel them working

Im still waiting for the bill.
They never said how much each vial of menopur is...i think i had 21 lots of 75. The bill we got so far was very unclear so not sure what we paid for so far.
One positive/negative is that we didnt have any to freeze. Which is sad. But would have cost 2k to use. (Though only £600 to freeze) i would have frozen but hoped no need to use. The staats were 80% dfrost but about 16% chance of success , with 1.
I think the estimate of drugs was £500-1500 maybe
I think the cost of icsi (extra 2k ) was a lot for my 4 eggs. Or 500 each

Suzy, sounds promising that you are feeling bloated already. I never felt anything and am a poor responder so I can only assume that being bloated means things are working - will be looking out for you to post after your scan! If all goes well, I will be just embarking on my next IVf as you are nearing the end of your 2ww.

Naty, nothing really I can say as all you can do is wait but just wanted to let you know I am thinking of you :) I am currently on CD8 and just wishing this cycle away so that I can hurry up and start IVF next cycle instead of just sitting around waiting and getting nervous about what will be.

I had my day 6 blood test today and it's my first scan on Friday.

That's so very sweet of you to be still interested in how my next round goes for me. I don't really have anyone in RL who is going through the same thing to understand so it is so nice to have support on here. Did you get your day 6 blood results. Did they indicate things are going well? Wine craving eh. I think when we know we can't have it, we want it all the more!

Nope i caved and tested early, sneakily. Negative.
Im not sure what level hormone the test measures but its not an early one -says test from period. As wasnt meant to be taking yet.

Its 10dpo today so still quite early. Trying to work out when i tested last time about 14-16 days and it was really faint to start. So dont know.
How are the scans going?

So it probably would show a negative either way.
I had my 10 day scan today. I have about 12 at 5-6mm but one is at 21mm! Another scan on Sunday then she said EC probably on Tuesday. I need to start paying more attention but all I could think about was getting out of there and going to Costa as I was starving
