Baby is due in September

So baby could possibly be born at No. 10 Downing street....

My neighbour's pregnant, but I wouldn't start a thread about it. Who gives a flying fuck?

sallyjaygorce · 23/03/2010 19:23

I don't know but I'd like to try one.

Hullygully · 23/03/2010 19:24

You saucy minx, you.

Ninjacat · 23/03/2010 19:45

I'm delighted for them but vaguely disturbed by the notion of DC actually having sex :0

electrofagz · 23/03/2010 21:01

Easier to picture them at it than Blair and Cherie

ladypanda · 23/03/2010 21:08

"at it"
nice.
I now can't resist adding the idea of Gordon and Sarah also having a bonk.
Just to lighten everyone's evening!

kittycat37 · 23/03/2010 21:08

Hullygully - , ha ha ha ha

LadyMumma · 23/03/2010 22:39

I'd be kind of amazed if it were a politically strategic choice, bravo to them etc, but it does nothing to sway me away from my view that Mr Sam remains an incomprehensibly poor choice for the next PM, however virile, warm and fluffy and however many lovely bags Mdme Cam designs

maxpower · 23/03/2010 22:42

the lengths people will go to to try and win an election
seriously though, I wish them well with their new baby

bank · 23/03/2010 23:11

mrs cameron
do you have a health visitor?
has she been any help to you?

atlantis · 24/03/2010 00:09

"do you have a health visitor?"

Does anyone have a health visitor anymore?

I thought it was government policy to get rid of all the health visitors and the midwives, not to mention closing down a lot of the birthing units (aka my own local hospital) and forcing mothers to give birth in parking lots and taxi's after being turn away from maturnity units several times because they were full or mother wasn't far enough into labour.

Ninjacat · 24/03/2010 00:22

I have a hv and the mw that delivered my baby was lovely.
There was no car park in sight and I am very glad I have the privilege of access to health care that is free on point of delivery.

atlantis · 24/03/2010 00:27

"There was no car park in sight.."

Labour probably sold it off to pay for another pencil pushing manager for the hospital.

atlantis · 24/03/2010 00:29

"of access to health care that is free on point of delivery. "

And it's not free, it's paid for out of the NI and taxes people pay.

Ninjacat · 24/03/2010 00:35

Yes exactly. Free on the point of delivery.

Ninjacat · 24/03/2010 00:36

Oh and the parking was free too

atlantis · 24/03/2010 00:39

"Yes exactly. Free on the point of delivery. "

Then so is private medical and you get a better service and better, cleaner hospitals.

Ninjacat · 24/03/2010 00:46

Yes but private care is not free to all on the point of delivery

You can commercialise your health care if you like.

I'm off to bed...

atlantis · 24/03/2010 00:54

"You can commercialise your health care if you like."

I'd love too, unfortunately I can't afford to pay for everyone else health care and my own families at the same time, do you think the government would let me keep my NI and a portion of taxes they use for the nhs?

"I'm off to bed... "

Good-nighty then.

BrahmsThirdRacket · 24/03/2010 01:13

"I don't recall Cameron or any other conservative saying they would have hand held bush into Iraq knowing then what we know now."

Um, well he wouldn't say that, would he?

atlantis · 24/03/2010 01:34

"Um, well he wouldn't say that, would he? "

So your basically now changing your arguement from;

"um but the tories are on record as saying that they would have done exactly the same on Iraq"

"The Tories would have done Iraq too, they supported it at the time -"

To; cameron would have made up a dodgy dossier, lied to the public, lied to parliament, killed millions of people in an illegal war and then tried to cover it up (along with the death of kelly) by continuing to lie to the people, lie to parliament, lie to the enquiries and the soldiers families and the families of those Iraqis that were killed?

Yes?

On what basis do you draw this conclusion?

'pencil pushing manager for the hospital'

We don't push pencils - we bill the taxpayer for very nice pens!
